When Jordan says “Look around you” talking about the championship banners. That’s SAVAGE!! 😂😂😂
Also jus hearing tha gm winner smh Mike was ICEMAN!
Big Flex
He said "u ain't got nothing to do with those" 😁
My buddy and I joke around bout that all the time
Most iconic one on one phrase ever
@@d.solomon4592 that was so cold!
Calling out the devil is one thing. Facing him is another. - Kendall Gill.
F'ing warrior mode, till you feel the presence
"You reach, i teach"
That's the most badass line.
it is badass but it's an o!d playground line
Nick Van Exel was saying it to Kobe the first time they played one-on-one in 96.
We should all pay homage to Corey Benjamin for sacrificing his career to bring Mike out of retirement.
Dude s career got destroyed literally by MJ! I wish he had a longer NBA career
🤣🤣
Facts 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Facts
"You reach I teach." Bruh 😂😂
Try to still fadeaway 😂😂😂
Don’t call me out of retirement again 😅😅😅.Savage
Michael Jordan is who we all think we are when we imagine how we would be if we played professional basketball. The only difference is he could do what we fantasized about. Defense offense...he was the greatest thing we have ever seen and he is without a doubt the GOAT
Born for it
Agreed
GOAT 1v1 player, Lebron is the real team Basketball GOAT
Stay woke, right? You’re tripping@@lebronjamesharden3958
He isn’t who I imagine myself to be when I dream of being a professional basketball player. I dream that I’m Adam Morrison.
6:59 That first basket is why he is the goat. Hesitation dribble reverse lefty, he did it so effortlessly its mind boggling.
Right? 100% the switch hand layup is so beautiful, avoiding the block.
Yep skills
Facts, the walk off after was so casual.
Corey Benjamin seems like a real good dude. Tells this story probably exactly how it happened
"Look around you ... what do you see? You ain't had nothing to do with those" ... DAYUMMMMMN! SAVAGE!
Gotta love Cory for his humility and kid in the candy store attitude. Class act all the way.
You mean PUUNK ASS all the way.
Absolutely. Humility yet he’s confident about his game and abilities……
Sometimes toooooo much 😂🤣 Wrong dude to test your confidence on.
Totally agree
Right LoL it's hard to see that now days I'm telling y'all
And for being Jordan's bitch.
“Look around you, what you see when see around you” 🥶🐐
Funniest part for me was Toni sitting right there on the bicycle thinking "well here's your lesson kid".
Kukoc and Harper just laughing the whole time
MJ walks into the gym. "I damn well nearly took a dump on myself..." I like Corey's attitude, he's a likable guy.
The whole world stopped for everyone that was in that gym. Eyes wide open and jaws dropped.
Thanks to the 2 jerry's for ending what no other team could! Has to be the dumbest thing ever done by a front office, sabotage your own team's Championship run!
Yeah they was so DUMB for that imagine being so successful the front office hated on you
Pride of the midget ruined it
@@freshbb6370 🤡
@@AJRAOfficial Jerry Reinsdorf needs to sell the team
It was a money grab his last name is Reinsdorf. The season tickets were sold out for like 5 years after MJ retired. They gutted the team, had a small payroll and raked in the cash. They know athletic ability and championship runs have a shelf life. So management chose big paydays rather than pay the staff to stay together until fail and accept smaller profit margins.
Corey Benjamin really can tell his kids that he was so good that Michael Jordan flew to Chicago to play him one 1-on-1 😂
Big Facts
😂😂😂😂. And kids, he beat the sht out of me. 😂😂
Despite what skip said, Cory was so happy doing anything with MJ so playing 1 on 1 was a freaking dream dream/reality.
Don’t call me out of retirement or I’ll do this shit again….legendary….THE ONE AND ONLY GOAT
“Don’t call me out of retirement TO DO this shit again.” Captions were wrong lol.
“He went I wanna be like mike on me oh he really do this in real life “ 😂😂😭😭😭
9:28 Tony got that " why would you even try ? " smile 🤣
No1 knows how deadly dat mid pull up was 💥💥
I give Cory respect for challenge MJ...that's a very brave move.
"The only guy I seen who is wearing his own clothes!". Reminds me of the story when Mike told Kobe, "You can wear my shoes, but youll never fill them" cuz Kobe was wearing Js, and then Kobe got quiet and didnt talk to his teammates for weeks.
MJ embarrassed every player he played against. Every player is envious of Mike. They all wished they had what he had. It's more than skill its determination and will to be the best at every aspect of the game.
Every aspect but 3pointers.
Man wasn't interested in those hence the "bad" career percentage on 3's
@@matthieusaade3616 true he mastered the mid range. Why take three's when you hit more mid range. Percentages always will be better from mid range. But in 92 MJ proved he can hit three's. 6 in one half. But your right he didn't care bout threes.
Thats why I believe he's the greatest. Strong mentality and overcoming adversity is what legends are made of
@@matthieusaade3616 there was no need to master the 3 point in his era.
@@matthieusaade3616 No threes but he still led the league in scoring 10 times and has the highest PPG for a career. Would've been 32 PPG had he not play for Washington as an old man. Meanwhile everyone in today's game shoot 3s like crazy and none have top his 37.1 ppg season. Steph shoots 3s like crazy and his career high is only 32 ppg
Jordan does hit 3s only when it matters.Harden shot over 300+ 3s in his 36 PPG season. If MJ shot that amount of 3s and made the same amount as Harden during his 86-87 season. His career high would've been 50.4 PPG instead of 37.1
with all that swagger demolished by MJ in that game, I love how he now talks like it was just another fan day with a teenager and I love how he admitted that "he said too much"! and mike took it personally..
C' Mon now!!! MJ is bigger than MJ!!!! I just thank the good Lord that I was playing basketball back in the mid to late 80's and into the 90's when MJ was at his prime! Dude, I'm telling you that this man was everyone's hero and idol. Didn't matter if you were a basket ball fan or not. Ty MJ for all the memories and highlights and effort and F' in hard work, blood, sweat and tears you put into the game of basketball! Man I had every Jordan Poster on my wall and that inspired not only me but MILLIONS of others to go out and be the best they could at the game of basketball! In 1989 my high school won the VCC Championship game and we went on to the state tourney! We lost states that year but we were the only team in the school history to be invited to the national tourney in Tennessee!!! What an experience! We got our asses kicked but it was ok man! MJ all I can say is love you man!! Don't know you but the entire world does!!! And my basketball memories are for the most part centered around the GOAT!!!! ..,..... From North Carolina at guard 6'6 Michael Jordan! Ty brother!!!!
They just don’t get it…those days were something special
I disagree. MJ was NOT bigger than MJ! 😆
These are great videos Everyone that I watch I remember it like it was yesterday More people need to see these Keep up the great work 🐐
I appreciate that
Thanks for the well put together video that you always put together!
Thanks for watching!
Cory you played in the NBA and all over the World, and your set for life, MJ destroyed a whole bunch of player's mentally
Ya see, I have never seen that mental intimidation and dominance with Lebron.
Kids just don't understand how different the two are.
You want some water Corey 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂
If possible, please have at least 1 episode stories of MJ during his amateur days including his 1st Olympic experience. Thanks.
"Hey!!! Look around you!!!" Hahahaha. Savage!!!!!
GREATEST OF ALL TIME. I have no idea how its an actual discussion. I had the pleasure throughout my years to see him play well over 30 times living in Wisconsin and Illinois
!ebron
All the world everybody want to be like Mike, the greatest ever G.O.A.T. for ever
What makes MJ and other greats so good is that even if they tell you how they’re gonna shoot, you still can’t stop them. 😂
It's funny cus jokic ,Luka, bird,Kobe, alot of players do that they got that lil finesse that they all can tell you they gunna do when they say it it's like watch out here comes a show. My fav one I saw as a kid was when Iverson crossed up MJ. Most thought MJ could handle it... He couldn't he fell for the cross
If artest shuts quiet on the sideline, you know it's MJ.
Keep up the great work!
I know CB personally till this day. It's funny seeing the footage with MJ talking trash. The "Look around you" was beast by MJ. Definitely bringing this up to Corey next time I see him or on FB. Lol
Started watching and thought wow this guy does a great job kept watching and now I know for a fact this guy is putting in work doin these awesome videos for our entertainment so a BIG HUGE THANK YOU to the channel oh and I also had to sub great videos thank you.
He’s part of MJ’s folklore. How many can say that.
That was awesome! Great post!
Hey I love these videos. Keep up the good work it's really entertaining
Glad you like them!
@@NickSmithNBA As a teenager, I would be playing basketball and dream about Michael Jordan pulling up and shooting basketball with me and playing them in 1 on 1. I believed I would have performed about like Corey Benjamin. Lol. Jordan was just as talent in a body that could do anything. He wasn't the best at baseball but he was pretty competitive
GOAT 🐐 and it's not even close
Loved Kukoč in the background smiling. Thinking respect the hunger young fella but you don't want this and I got it without even asking because Krause pissed him off...🐐
Respect for these MJ videos. Subscribed finally 😎 can we get a Kobe marathon 🙏🏾
This is a video of life long dream. Meeting your idol that respects you! This was beautiful!
"You reach I teach!" Drops the mic... And the jumper swish.
"Look around you. You didn't have anything to do with those!" -DOH- And Cory Benjamin never spoke a distracting world to Michael Jordan again. -The end-
The best Corey Benjamin story coverage! 👏👏👏
Hersey Hawkins was not amused. He was having PTSD from 96 Finals
MJ created a special hype in the NBA back then, still do this day haven't been recaptured.
When I was 8th grade in '96, Corey Benjamin was thee shit in SoCal. McDonalds player. And his dunking skill set, was all MJ'esque. Dude was flyer.
His Airness, God playing basketball, is so beautiful....
I LOVE...CB's Honesty...I would have done the same. Just to play him.
😃 Great stuff
Kukoc just sitting there laughing says it all.
10:17, Michael Jordan told Corey Benjamin to “Sit Down”! It’s too bad for Corey, That his “Career” never got back up!!🤣🤣
Its not impressive because corey is a nobody.
@@awotbahta8300you go play him right now then you ole scrub ass keyboard warrior
I had an idea of every other video so far, but this was absolutely new to me! Thanks for sharing nick!
I've seen the highlights before too - just didn't know who Corey Benjamin was. Mj brutal
Glad you enjoyed it!
"you reach i teach", that line right there has been so fundamental for me when playing with my kids to teach them defensive discipline. At one point they stopped reaching for the steal giving away easy points, and I think it was thanks to that lil MJ line right there, that is so simple and it might sound savage or whatever, but if you understand it, it's crucial.
Let’s not forget, he shouldn’t have no shame because he got to score 3 points on MJ and its caught on video 😂. A lot of people’s bucket list including myself is to just see MJ in person. Corey exceeded his wish
“You reach.. I teach “👏🏼
Ron Artest broke MJ's ribs in a pickup game in Chicago. He said he was stressing out and scared, but MJ called him and told him, don't worry about it he was ok.
Dude I wish I can play basketball against MJ, and I wouldn't care if I get embarrassed. It would be an honor to play against the G.O.A.T.
Lol Cant b nervous when u play him….i said the same thing.. i would of gave MJ a problem lol
He'd impregnate you in basketball
He actually did not loose! This is a WIN!!! that’s a game you can tell over and over…and everyone and will love it!
I have waited for this story for like 20 years 😂🎉🎉🎉
When you're the undisputed, undefeated GOAT and have to buss some ass to get yo point across.
" Look around you young fella "…..😂🙌
You reach I teach. Classic
I never got my ear pierced, but Jordans gold hoop earring is legendary
it was a good strategy for Benjamin and he did made his dream come true facing his idol in a 1v1 matchup💁🏻♀️💯… its like facing MJ as the final boss in a videogame or 2k with his Bulls arena with the 6 championship banners 💁🏻♀️nothing can be sweeter than that
You reach, I teach. Love it
Nick the GOAT
haha thanks man!
The look on Ron Artest's face: priceless!
Still had the warm up pants on do lol
Love his honesty
Jordan was cooking him so bad that he was sweating 😂
Dear Nick, you are the Michael Jordan of Basketball videos and content. what a legend.
haha that's funny! Thanks man
A fockin legend mate
Mj said look around ha ha 😂 🤣 😆
The GOAT!!!
Jordan has the spirit of an ancient warrior. If you challenge him, you must be prepared to fight to death.
The killer instinct lol
If the best player in the world kicked my ass, I would not be traumatized, I would be flattered that he came to play with me. That white commentator in the video told the story in a way sounding like Jordan did something harmful to the career of Corey, but it is the opposite. Jordan didn't "destroy" him, but actually gave him a precious gift. Corey can tell that story and be relevant for the rest of his life just because of that gift. You can tell that Corey, even more than 20 years later, still enjoys that precious moment playing one on one with MJ.
He told him go sit down...he's so good he'll kick you're ass and you're going love and appreciate it boy. Lol.
The most significant thing that happened in his career was at practice against a retired guy.
The real GOAT, end of story..
That dude took a flight back to Chicago to play Corey Benjamin, only. That's crazy!!!
If I was Corey I would puff my chest out and say “did you see me get three on Michael”.
As a huge MJ fan. I love your videos
"Look around you! You didn't have nothing to do with those." Ouch.
You reach i teach... what a line.
Nick Smith you electronic wizard
If a regular person say 'What you say???' a fight usually comes with it but since this is MJ, MJ brought the Wrath of God with him 🤷🏿♂️
For the exception of Hakeem Olajuwon and Mitch Richmond, Jordan basically humilated EVERYONE!
Want me to link the vid when MJ toyed with those 2?
@@lamefart8831 DWL. If he Only knew. Lol
@@lamefart8831yes please I do. I want you to link the video.
Great Story Cory!! Thanks for sharing. Great strategy to get close to MJ. He was definitely the Most dominated sport figure at the time. Everyone just wannabe like Mike even Magic and Bird.
I like Corey benjamin's humbleness, It doesn't bother him losing to mike, what matter is that he plays and spends time with his idol. You are the luckiest man on the planet! I envy you, Corey!
“You reach I teach” ‘Nuff said.
This is the definition of taking that personally.
Skip's take may have been correct. He and Scottie went after Kukoc in the Olympics because of Krause. The lessons seemed to be targeted at him. The breakup of the Bulls after '98 was a gigantic blunder. That organization has gone nowhere afterward. When you have the greatest player in the sport and he's still winning championships and he tells you he wants to come back the next year and try to do it again you let him.
GOLD GOAT not the brass goat of ESPN
If Corey had been my son, I would have been delighted for him to teach my son that lesson in the GOAT, a lesson in humility.
Skip blaming Jordan for Corey Benjamins career downfall is hilarious
