PERSONALLY, i think it will look eerily similar, except for some unimportant personal achievements like all star appearances.
but comparing now just isnt fair.
@@dronel1637 it's too late to compare Ja to MJ unless it's only dunk highlights. MJ was a day one Killa. No nights off, #1 all time scoring percentage
Jordan’s almost perfect fundamentals are never mentioned. Footwork, hand-eye coordination. Combine that with amazing athleticism, 4.3 speed, huge hands and and an absolute dog mentality….there’s nothing like him.
I wish someone could make like a 10 min video comparing LeBron’s game vs Michael Jordan’s game. It would be a comedy show to be honest with you. Someone just watch LeBron trying to create his own shot. The dude has no footwork. He travels half the time. Stumbles on his own foot sometimes. (No joke). No shot. Also, more than 80% of his shots have come off assisted layups and dunks.
@@letmetellyousomethin9410 I think not enough ppl who know their hoop understand. Jordan’s game was so tough. Absolute mastery, jump shot, footwork, head fakes, first step, cat like speed, ball control, switching hands, finishing. Just the awareness is unmatched. Miles ahead of lebrons game. On both ends, and did it relentlessly every night. Its funny whenever the debate is brought up that the only part brought up is career achievements and not the skill difference between the two. Let’s be real, the debate isn’t actually even close. Just makes for fun talk to most.
@@jakeadams7183 - Absolutely. That’s my argument when people bring up the GOAT talk. I just point to the skill level. “If you were to have a win or die game and you can choose only one player to be on your team, would you choose Jordan or Lebron?” The answer never comes quickly to those LeBron supporters.
@@letmetellyousomethin9410 right, I just feel like when the debate is brought up , how long Lebron has played, or his longevity records or the players he’s played with or against is always the vocal point of their argument, and never who was the more skilled and effective basketball player. There’s just no logical way watching both guys you can definitively say Lebron was the better player, there’s a massive skill difference.
@@letmetellyousomethin9410 and people praise him as a pass first to cover his shit skill level
I want to thank my father for making me watch Jordan in 1988. He said Don watch this guy he's going to be the best player in the world. I started watching him and that was it I was hooked. I watched his whole career every game I've been to every bulls rally I was on TV with my dad they call him hulk Hogan in the crowd. God bless you Dad.R.I.P. I laugh when all these kids talk about these players and how good they are and how they would beat Michael Jordan it just makes me laugh. And I know my dad up in Heaven gets a kick out of it.
Unless people got to witness the Jordan era, they shouldn’t be able to have an opinion on the goat debate. MJ was not human and you felt his presence and everyone, I mean everyone feared that man. Anyone who says Lebron is the goat, obviously didn’t get to witness true dominance and consistency that Jordan showed. Nobody was even close to being named in the same breath as MJ. Lebron is a beast. But he isn’t and can never be what MJ was. Even if Lebron wins another couple rings, that won’t change anything. Lebron has far too many L’s. Jordan didn’t even know what an L was.
I’m 47 years old and I ask myself why do we keep having this conversation. I’m from NC and remember when he played for my tarheels. He was the coldest mother fucker. It’s not even close.

This is how you know that youve accomplished something. When youre competitors speak highly of you with both repect and 'fear.' MJ was just "different" and will forever be the Greatest
It's no disrespect to LeBron but the reverence Jordan's peers give him is just different
In my opinion, Lebron will get similar reverence once he retires. Just two of the greatest of their eras
Exactly! The level of respect Jordan gets is second to none. And then the fear he put into his opponent’s. Vernon Maxwell was a straight up bully, and wasn’t scared of anybody but he scared people on the court. So to hear him talk like that just shows how Jordan is the greatest. Nobody will call LeBron ‘Black Jesus,’ nobody, and that’s the difference.

@Raymond Sims Yes, Goofy… when you wear #23, steal Jordan’s powder toss, do Space Jam…. AND, proclaim yourself as the greatest when you beat Golden State, umm 🤔 that means you care. Jordan never called himself the greatest. Try again, you lost that one
A testament from One of the real tough guys from the 90’s how different MJ is from everybody else.
Just a clarification... Max was with Rockets from 1989-95. They went 8-4 against the Bulls in the regular season (sorry Max!). What I love about Max is that he's fearless, and also played on edge: his opponents never knew if that fuse was gonna go off! He definitely wasn't afraid to go against MJ, but he did say he had many sleepless nights thinking about the matchup. Dude still looks like he could go 10-15 mins in an NBA game today!
I think people forget how dominant Jordan was, but if you listen to dudes years later, the fear he instilled in everyone, is amazing. Dudes are still scared of him, legends are scared of him.
People that witnessed don't forget it's just the kids don't know better,
Well it was 30 years ago lol. Generations of bball players have passed. Rules have changed as well and so have the way people watch view and live basketball as players growing up and spectators. MJ would have dominated this era too

@@jdlarobinson didn't know that but was crossed my mind was the fact that the Utah Jazz swept the Bulls in the 98 season and of course still lost in the Finals. So obviously beating a team in the regular season doesn't mean you'll beat them in the playoffs!

Vernon is great. Love his honesty, his confidence in his Rockets. I could listen to his talk all day. You never know what would’ve happened if they played Jordan in the finals, but Jordan had no problem with the teams the Rockets beat in the finals. And the regular season is meaningless. The Bulls were a combined 1-3 against the Jazz in the 1997 and 1998 seasons and they beat the Jazz in 6 games in back to back NBA finals.
And the 95 Orlando Magic that beat the Bulls were 2-0 vs Houston

Vernon Maxwell was probably one of the few who never seemed to be intimidated and gave Jordan some work. Rarely did you see anyone play great offense against MJ. It shows how players in the old days had respect for each other despite being enemies and fierce competitors.
Max looks like he’s seen some things lol
What I loved most about Jordan was his tenacity. He'd just keep coming at you until you were tired and then as soon as he saw a weakness he'd exploit it until there was nothing left.
He played the last quarter of games with the same effectiveness that he played the first three quarters. It's as if he never got tired. It was uncanny!

Vernon is right about winning 5 out of 6 during the first 3-peat of the Bulls, but it's not true the Rockets dominated also the years before. In the three seasons from 1987 to 1990 it was 4-2 for the Bulls. Also, we can imagine they would work on a tactical plan to find the answer against Hakeem if they played Houston in the finals. Another clue is Houston had a very hard time with the Knicks, even harder than Chicago had in the previous years' Eastern playoffs. So, the best answer is we just don't know. Yes, the Rockets would have a chance to win, but MJ was MJ.
