- HEY guys !! As you seen by the title we are doing Kaelyn’s BIG CHOP. My girls got a hold of the scissors ✂️ & decided to play hair dresser. Instead of respecting my rules by using scissors unattended and without permission they still decided to do so. Now I’m not gonna lie, I was upsetttt !! But I took a step back & ask her why she did it. She told me she wanted to be like me 🥹 & for those that don’t know I have short hair & a undercut.
This is just a reminder to LISTEN & UNDERSTAND your kids. They do things for a reason, so once I knew this I decided to give her what she wanted and cut her hair 💗 This is the sameeee journey with the same destination, which is SELFLOVE & SELF AWARENESS ! I’m so grateful to be able to learn from my children !

Me a few weeks ago having to cut my toddlers front top of her hair. Cried my eyes out but they are small and with TLC it will grow even more beautifully. Good job mamas, and its never easy being a mama it takes so so so much patience. You went about this amazingly, we love it!❤️

Did you first comb them out before retwisting, if so up to how many months would I be able to comb them out if I don't wish to Keep them for years.
No I didn’t comb her locs out, I just cut them. & you can comb your locs out whenever, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve had them. They can always be combed out ✨
