      Jason Becker Is not a Guitar player...he's THE GUITAR PLAYER!
      Immagine for a minute that he could carry on after twenty years of age, and I am talking about playing with his own fingers......
      Dear God.....perhaps for every other guitarist on this Planet, it was wise to make Jason stop right there!
      Other wise, every one else would be just Shadows.....
      Jason Becker is an astonishing soul forever.....

    That might change with the new Paradigm strings, so hyped!

    • @5urg3x
      @5urg3x Před 7 lety +1

      NYXLs are good but they don't last that long...I'm trying to find something that actually lasts. Cleartone says they last 3x longer but in my experience they don't. The reason why I don't use EB is because the unwound strings (top three) get dented very easily. I dunno, maybe I press down too hard, but the NYXLs don't do this.

    • @alexhooi7970
      @alexhooi7970 Před 7 lety

    I don't get the guitar sound in this video. I much prefer "liquid" sounding guitar tones than something so scooped with too much bite on the attack. The recording is very clear, though.

      it's probably one of his live lead tones. If it wasnt as bright as it is here, it probably wouldn't cut through that well.

    Ernie Ball strings might be the best out there but sometimes when you're strapped you go with the Da'dario. Steve Vai uses nickel strings. Billy Gibbons uses 7 gauge and Yngwie uses 10. It's all how one feels. But if I had a choice I'd use Ernie Ball's

      It´s the tone, the pick scratches are higher in volume than the actual note, so it makes it look a little sloopy, but it gives that 80´s shred tone. It´s cool, but it´s horrible for note clarity.
