I wonder, what would happen if your jaw jops. kind of a drop then jumps, or maybe jumps and drops, oh... the pain he must of went through something like that??
so I've watched this video multiple times. never noticed this until just now. I heard it while eating and didn't think about it and then read your comment
I had no idea he was using the Axe on this album. The rhythm guitar parts on "Throwback" are so monstrous, it sounds like I'm inside the cabinet, it's weird. I can't get my setup to sound like that, but that's OK I want my own sound. Dude is an insane player!
Pasha Maisuradze who is talking about Megadeth´s music and Thrash? do you even know what "dictatorship" means? Do you even know about the history of Megadeth´s ex-members?
Megadeth is huge credit for Chris and Shawn dont forget it, and its easy to understand that they just wanted to create their own band and thats it, its not about dictatorship, they just wanted their casino with blackjack and whores
that "Angel Severe2" amp model in the axefx is based on the engl savage2. I use that patch for my heavy tones and it truly does sound like that. After messing with it i started looking up videos of the savage to see if they really are as brutal as the axefx model is.
Killer tones.I wonder if this tone was achived only because of thr Axe Fx2 or did the guitar play a major role in shaping that tone.I would be going in for the axe fx2 soon but i own a Schecter Jeff Loomis 7 string i wonder if i plug that guitar into the Axe fx 2 would i be able to achive this tone.
Think it is a bit late... But I own a Chris Broderick guitar... Those pickups certainly have a lot to do with that tone because are wired in a way that kind of the presence frequencies are highlighted and therefore that is why this sound is so tight and defined... Of course his setting is making this licks and riffs to appear like a lion trying to get out of the speakers...
Totally agree! Dimarzio CB's are so cold in a way when doing fast solos... One friend who happens to like 80s guitar only, is saying that the pickups in my Jackson Broderick are not warm and organic... And I reply of course that is exactly what I like when doing fast licks ... Dimarzio CB's are so articulated and even percusive that lets all details of the solos stand out!! And that dry sound of the rythm parts... All thanks to those pickups (and to a good amp or plugin also)
Love Chris and the axe-fx is a wonderful device...but that there was some brittle, shit tone...and uninspired rhythm riff. Trust me, this sounds and feels NOTHING like a Engl Savage into a 4x12... when that air pressure starts pushing in on your back like a rabid rhino....thats what it's about.
More guitar Widdel Dee Widdel Dee Widdel. If you have a specific sound you are going for the. Just buy the amp. By the time you get the Axe and the controller and the FRFR and have tweaked your life away you could be just playing and having fun without the attitude of the their forum members who will most likely tell you to go read the manual anyway!
well arpeggio is still a chord but i mean when playing few notes simultaneously the tone is not equal to the price of unit. Its great because of amount of FX and other features built in but for the ''only tone'' its not worth that price. Half priced valve amps sounds for me 10x better.
sumilidero Take a visit to the fractal forums and check out the recordings forum. There you will see ALL tones/Genre's/styles are possible with the unit.
Severed Tongue Everything is possible when you have 1000 FX, models etc but that still doesn't impress me with the tone. Maybe im just too much stuck with old classic tones and can't get into modern wave. Despite that I would buy axe fx for 2k$ :D otherwise im choosin valves atm. Greetings!
What you mean is “I can’t play this so I am mad about it.” Chris is a classically trained guitarist who’s played in some of the biggest bands. Check out his classical videos or in your case “slow pentatonic blues in A minor”😂
"My draw jops everytime I play it" haha. Awesome!
I wonder, what would happen if your jaw jops.
kind of a drop then jumps, or maybe jumps and drops, oh... the pain he must of went through
something like that??
That guitar is simply beautiful. Not only does it look beautiful but plays beautiful
Hahaha he definitely said "draw jops"
No worries... He can just re-amp that shit. Lolz
In Chris's defense, guitar players aren't exactly known for their way with words. Otherwise, they'd be singers.
Warhear87 They will fix it in the mix XD
JDNaut147 Tell that to Guthrie Govan
so I've watched this video multiple times. never noticed this until just now. I heard it while eating and didn't think about it and then read your comment
I want a loomis, Broderick to team up for a album together!
And Keith Merrow!
Of course, why just settle on 2 guitarist lol.
Velocity4000fps Exactly!! haha

amazing player and great guy, so glad he broke free from the Mustaine dictatorship
JAFO-PTY Mustaine is Megadeth and Megadeth is FATHER of Thrash, so think again and than write, dicatorship LOL
Pasha Maisuradze who is talking about Megadeth´s music and Thrash? do you even know what "dictatorship" means? Do you even know about the history of Megadeth´s ex-members?

Pasha Maisuradze ok, you definitively dont get my comment, but that´s ok. Take care.

Real talent of you ,but damn riffs and solos of dimebag is more meaningfull if u knew what i meant people

lowering the guitar has made him sloppy :(
this guy is really talented but music composition and talking about music taste megadeth is God father
axe is only good for shred solos, lame for all kinds of chord-based riffs :|
sumilidero Look up "Periphery's Mark Holcomb - Building Chords Into Single-Note Riff Ideas" and immediately change your mind.

sumilidero dude Periphery's new albums have amazing guitar tone and it's all Axe FX II running into a Zilla 2x12 speaker cab.

Sounds like a shitty Line 6 amp.
No feeling whatsoever just notes after notes
