Thank you for this review! I am looking to order one for my father who spends a lot of time in the wheel chair. I hope it is truly beneficial for him.

Wonder how this stacks up against the purple cushions ?

For full time wheelchair users, the ROHO is superior. Purple is more for sitting in a recliner.

i have one and omg i love it. what i want is overlay for couch. or bed. they seem different and can come in 3 parts. i wonder if they are just as nice as the cushion one i have. look around. you can find them for much less.

  • @bfhwhataboutthecavesdude6162

I see them on Amazon going from $121 to $877 . Hard to know which one best for me.

Iam paraplegic I have that roho medium and high profile I do some improvement with the cover I fabricated a base so the cell won’t expand because it touches the wheel and affect the composure of body I recommend the roho which is already have a base this roho is only compatible for light person not for heavyweight person.

ROHO's only last a few months until one of the air cells get punctured. They can be patched up but the fix never lasts long. This an old-school, cumbersome system that is outdated. There are new and much better systems. ROHO is definitely better compared to most for pressure sores but they no longer reign supreme. The reps get paid bank to promote these.

No reason for this to cost so much.

As an active wheelchair user I find it hilarious how people who have only sat on this cushion for maybe 30 minutes (non wheelchair users) sing its praise. Yes some wheelchair users like it but more often than not it's garbage

😮 I’m a non wheelchair user (but am disabled), & I was going to buy one. Why are they garbage? And what else would you recommend?

@@lopear111 I’ve been a full time wheelchair user for over 20 years and have been using Rohos for 15+ years. They have been the best on the market and world class. For prolonged use after a few years they can develop air leaks leaving you stranded and the whole cushion deflating. You can sometimes have years with no issues. I’ve just. Been recommended today with Vicair cushion. Apparently if they have a hole you won’t loose the entire cushion and also they are washing machine safe. I do believe they may be the next big thing and could superseded the Roho. Do lots of research and speak to chair users and professionals. This is also what I intend to do before deciding. I hope that’s some help. Good luck.

@@HighTen_Melanie I've also been a wheelchair user for over 20 years and I agree with what you said about Roho cushions. I've had a Vicair and wasn't a fan. Maybe they have changed them since I've had one (it's been over 10 years).
