is this great for just my ass aching on a office chair? i cant find any memory foam cushions that are thick enough and comfy enough

Yeah,, this is not a good video. You need to have someone check with their hand how much of a gap there is for you.
I hate this cushion so much, I can’t tell you have much trouble I had with this product. I would never recommend this to anyone. Even for the smallest leak, you can get a pressure sore, which I did get and spent 3 months in the hospital for.
