The life story of the greatest knight that ever lived, William Marshal. How did he go from tournament champion to ruler of England? #Medieval #History #WilliamMarshal
@@stuartwiner7920 you must be incredibly uneducated … knights Templar are the next step up for Freemasons and after that is Rose Croix. Read up on it then you won’t make such dumb comments
William Marshal fought in many battles, more importantly he never changed sides and fought his own people, he kept promises and carried the kings heart on a crusade to the holy land.
In fairness, El Cid was fired for embarrassing his king. Also in fairness, William Marshal was never a one-man zombie apocalypse. But only Marshall co-wrote the Magna Carta.
Good tale.
Incredible story of grit and determination. This man truly lived his life.
Is this man the nonfiction version of Ser Arthur Dayne?
Well no, seriously arthur dayne is the fiction version of william marshal

How’s that? Thought lived according to a code of celibacy.
@@robertthomas3777 after Knights Templar he became Rose Croix finishing as Standard Bearer at Grand Lodge
@@elizabethsands4470 nice to know. Given the current times, how do we know if an organisation is genuine KT? There are so many pretenders.
Best knights are french, see du Guesclin, Bayard , jacques de lalaing
You missed a lot of is Welsh defeats and successes, WHY DOES EVERYONE IGNORE THE Welsh?
Jousting sounds like ...horse hockey.
Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar 'El Cid' was the biggest knight of all.....not at fancy tournaments but real war!!

He actually was fired for raiding his king's client state by the orders of a Muslim ruler who hired him
One must separate the myth from the man. He sacked, fought for gold and betrayed his king. Not really chivalrous
Hyperbole at its best. Certainly a great knight, but also certainly not the best!
