Never meet people from the internet, it's not worth the risk. Those apps are filled with unhinged people who would have others running away after one interaction. With the apps they have the option to search for the right things to say so that regular people wouldn't see any red flags and will invest their time entertaining a sociopath, psychopath, narcissist, etc.

One way I like to look at the doctrine of forgiveness, is that you don’t have to forgive every person who sins against you. However, when somebody does sin against you and then come clean regarding their offense towards you, goes out of their way to prove they are sorry, and changes their ways and most importantly AKNOWLEDGES THEIR OFFENSE and doing everything in their power to change their ways- then they can be forgiven! Someone with a transgressions that is still a gaping wound, you do not need to forgive them and you should not! In fact, it would be worse for you to forgive them because then they feel that it is OK to sin against others without repercussion. This should be common sense! And, someone that loves you and wants to be in your life would have no problem doing this.
