- Recently, Tianjin hosted the 2024 Shenzhou Funeral Technology and Culture Festival, which included a funeral clothing brand launch event, grandly named the "2nd China International Life Fashion Show." Banners at the event displayed slogans like "The Last Outfit of Your Life." The launch showcased hundreds of funeral garments, mourning clothes, and burial dresses.
The video shows young male and female fashion models walking the runway in various brands of funeral clothing, including cheongsams, suits, Hanfu, Tang suits, and Zhongshan suits, along with many "stylish" designs. Various "high-end and elegant" funeral garments were on display, competing for attention.

the fact that the funeral industry is doing well enough to hold conventions and sell booths should be a sign that a TON more people have died in china than they are letting us know about.
Doesn't mean that in China necessarily where true free market supply and demand style markets don't exist because state owned or affiliated entities get subsides
But well dressed though

- With stimulus and measures, China's debt will be at 400% to 500% of its GDP in the next decade, according to Reuters.
-Chinese 🇨🇳 property Ponzi sector, which accounts for 30% of GDP, is crashing
-Tofu Exports and Western imports, accounting for 37% GDP, are down.
-Foreign investment is falling over 90% compared to it's peak in 2018.
-Foreign visitors are down 96% compared to the pre-pandemic level in 2019 with less than 200 americans left.
-Consumer prices are experiencing hyperstagdeflation.
-Youth unemployment hits over 21% (in reality 50%+ after eliminating faked numbers), a record.
-It's fast shrinking workforce is 10 years old than neighboring countries.
- During the years 1990-2021, the US printed 6.5 time more money while China printed 147 times.
- It has printed more money than the US and Japan combined, while it's economy is only half of them.
- Current Chinese debt-to-gdp is already highest in the world, at 300%, according to Bloomberg.
- This is a macroeconomic nightmare created by the party going way back in 1994 when they took the Tofu money off the international exchange. Now in 2024, the banks and the average little pink have no idea what is the ACTUAL value of anything within the country. Any stimulus from the Central state. will be meaningless and ineffectual because the Central Bank is a part of the Party. Thereby merging both fiscal Central and monetary private policies into one ongoing disaster. Local province officials were doing stimulus spending for decades in tandem of the "Economic Miracle" which will undermine any Central stimulus during an actual depression/recession or more accurately.. HYPERSTAGDEFLATIONARY NIGHTMARE.
-- in the future house prices will drop to 10%, youth unemployment will be over 70%+ without streams, and middle class people over 35 will all be laid off.
How will you do in a country where real estate companies, local governments, and banks across China have crashed or fled? That is your challenge for the future (will you own a trash house with the mortgage?). Pensions will be laundered and your daily pay will be 2 dollars.

WOW SO GOOD AWESOME Organ Leeks #sloprosperity #theskydontlie
The funeral industry are doing too well to the point where they couldn't even build coffins fast enough to handle the amount of deceased. The carpenters need to step in to help build coffins.
@@sleepinglaffey3886 Doesn't Xi have fam in America? I wonder if 4chan could locate them 😄
it’s quite disturbing how the funeral business seemed more like a profitable business to them rather than tradition and respect
It's not like the West is very different.
Funerals are expensive, even cremations only, no other services cost money. That's just the way it is.
Putting together dignified respectful services cost money..
It's all about money. They don't care about decorum. They never have.
Have you seen how expensive funeral is in the west?
They went from Communist to Capitalist and now to Materialist.
Maternity Hospitals and Kindergartens are closing down, while funeral services are booming...
Really? Where undead vampire only one needed new clothes.
Seems like a accurate correlation.
And military weaponry sales are booming. These 2 industries are booming says a lot about the economy
“If the living can’t stimulate consumption, the dead may give it a try”. 😱 😂 That was quite funny, in a bizarre/creepy way.
I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any of these.
A funeral clothing fashion show is something I did not find on my World is Fckd bingo card.
😭😭😭
I unironically actually love this and could see this becoming popular among younger generation, even just as a joke
I see we are at the "make someone else's death all about yourself" phase of civilizational collapse.
If it was legal I'd let my family dump me in hole wrapped in a old sheet in our yard. If I'm dead why the neck do I care about fancy caskets, urns, suits. And yes technically natural burial is legal in America but good luck getting it approved by your local city council. They always have a legal loophole that prevents you from burying family on your own land.

@@dontcare7086Sky burials should be legalized, along with body being fed to other wild animals.
You only get one chance to make a last impression
👏👏💯💯😁😁😂😂🤣🤣😭😭
I use to work as a grave digger as part time, the amount of tips I get is crazy
My family is in the funeral industry so I find this fashion show to be quite refreshing.
Death comes for all of us so why not normalize the conversations of death and dying. It is far more cruel on family and friends to leave funeral details until the last moment.
Just because ppl do not want to talk about funeral decisions and details doesn't do anything to prevent death from coming
People in the funeral industry have a great responsibility for caring for the grieving ones left behind. Really appreciate it when they do it with tact and beauty. It really helped us through the process especially when you are so distraught you don't know what to do.
A good funeral home does it all, the preparation of the body, the legal matters of cremation or burial, organising wakes...etc. It was money well spent! It's a good industry, a service that is needed.
@@chocobrowniewin for my family the deceased are treated with the utmost respect and family's are never ever pressured into purchasing anything.
We believe what makes a funeral special is the care and love and not the amount of money.
Sadly some ppl only care about the money they can get from the deceased families which is vile and wrong.
Explain to me the point of being fashionable inside a coffin?. What about if the body was mangled?.
But of course not to the extent of daily conversations. Maybe when a family member has some last stage cancer and incurable illness and has last 6 months to a year to live, then such conversations and planning can start. Or if a family member who is very old(80 and above), such an age could start discuss and plan for funeral. We can't be having such daily conversations to teenagers or younger
@@l33t007 Thank you and your family. You guys are doing a wonderful thing.
I think this is hilarious. Especially the comment " I once asked my Mom if she ever wore burial clothes and she spanked me". 😂
This channel has shown me so much, yet this is the "that's really effed up" video for me
I was thinking the same, this is just weird. I bet that rumour about 400 million lost to c*vid is probably true if they can do this kind of sh*t. Yep, effed up for sure.
If there aren't enough funerals to bring in extra money they'll just create another v*rus.
Only in China.
Too flashy for funeral. But they do look awesome. It would be a shame to wear something like that only once when you can't enjoy it.
Those who believe in the afterlife might think their final clothes is what they will be wearing in the hereafter
If you look at China's population pyramid, it's clear the largest age group is at or nearing retirement, so in the next couple of decades funeral services will be in high demand. COVID might have claimed some potential customers earlier than anticipated though.
So…they have a fashion show…but China only does cremations…what?
After life fashion show;
The last clothing you would wear in your lifetime
So creepy for a funeral industry to have a fashion show
What is the point of corpse massage? They're well beyond muscular aches and pains.
I suppose if they siddenly sit up and say, "Can you get behind that shoulder?" You've now got bigger problems on your hands.
YOU GOTTA UNDERESTAND CHYNA LEEKS!
Their funeral business booming up good, while other companies going..... broke?
Dame.
Although only one industry is booming, those employees that are working in these funeral industries could be the ones that will help inject consumption as they will be earning 10s of thousands per month. So it's somewhat giving a small boost to the economy
This episode is funny 😆
What happened to just being buried in your favourite outfit?
If you do bad deeds, you don't go to hell after you die, you are reborn as a Chinese.
Macabre and funny😁😆
Next thing you know, the funeral industry collapses and no one wants to do cremation and burial services bcoz everything is priced with Temu-like prices.
Till the last breath and among other things?
Well, it's business as usual or life's like that?
And this is real... Only in China, of course.
Please forgive me, God.
Undertaker:" man, the past 3 years has been fabulous. Time to invest some rental properties in vietnam"
Average person:" ever since the pandemic, my life has been going downhill. Just got retrenched and company has yet paid me 6 months of my basic salary. Had to sell my property at a huge loss just for the following months of food."
_Over_ _my_ _dead_ _body..._
I'd die before being seen in one of those outfits.
With all the tofu dreg construction, people are dying left and right. It's lucrative to be in the funeral service industry.
O boy, you know the death roll is about to go through the roof.
That’s just creepy
Don't hurt vampire feelings.
Vampire make business like this own funnels clothes style.
Say one word.
Now that's real embarrassing for them should have known this ain't bore well.
We wear them for all Chinese celebrations.
What Do I Not want to be seen in?
Rise up People of China
Seems like the funeral industry and military weaponry sales are doing awesome in china
Am I the only one really turned off with the fact that it is named the opposite of what it is? I thought this only inflicted the West. Who would call it a "life" fashion show. Everything is opposite.
They should rename: after life fashion show
I don't believe in good luck or bad luck, but it is creepy.
Isn't it already crazy expensive for a plot of land there to bury?
Guys I don't care what country you are from death is going nowhere and has always been good business. Rich or poor we all going to die.
What kind of fashion expo showcases funeral attire and paraphernalia? I would be asking some pertinent questions about the state of my country if I was Chinese.
This is very very disturbing, and very disrespectful to the dead ...😮😮😮
Ha ha - the funeral business - thanks for this extraordinary video.
It's a look to die for 🤷♂️
They should wear those casually.
I hate it ,it's like pouring salt on wond.
This is weird but nothing wild.
If anything, it's just investment shifting industries.
The Chinese believe it is bad to move into a home if it is still furnished by the previous occupant. But will place their relative's urn in the burial spot of someone else's plot.
Ummmm…we have funeral expos as well. There’s no dancing and fashion but they still exist.
Waiting for Wangsheng Funeral Parlor to show up....

They're
Just for money😂😂
minimum wage on china is $3.7 per hour but in US is almost $7.25 per hour. poor labored on china fast worker and many producer product. too much work for Chinese labored
Let's all further help the Chinese out by reducing any Made-in-China purchases whenever humanly possible.
Spam bot?
Now see this: there is no problem with making a profit from providing services to the dead. The living who remember them need that closure and if the process is done professionally isn't it the best? I would say having a trusted middle man dealing with the funeral matters helps the family a lot.
The question is: can Chinese businesses do that?
This is very morbid.
Barry me raw😂😂
Very weird 😑
