- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated in a media interview on the evening of May 29, "Taiwan is one of the most important countries in the world." This remark caused a significant stir online and became a hot topic. Surprisingly, up until now, the Chinese state media has not openly criticized Huang, and the related topic has not trended on social media.

Let us take a minute to remember that Taiwan 🇹🇼 is a free and independent nation!
Long live the people of Taiwan 🇹🇼
And how many countries in the world recognise Taiwan as a country ?😂
@@elimlinrr6898Historically China has no right to the land Taiwan occupies. The ROC party were forced there after the CCP came to power. Therefore even if China claims “They’re uniting China as one” or something like that, Taiwan is not under that jurisdiction because the CCP does not recognise the ROC or any other Democratic Party in China.
FUN FACT-- Taiwan is a free and independent country.
FUN FACT -- Taiwan is the real China.
Due to Nvidia, Taiwan is a strategically significant chokepoint for technology. Keep Taiwan independent.
As an ASIC Engineer (chip designer), reverse engineering is impossible. I'm absolutely sure Chinese spies are attempting to steal Nvidia's Gate Level Netlist.
Yeah trying to reverse engineer a sand castle is very unrealistic. a 3 Dimensional sand castle.
@@brn2bwild2001 haven’t you seen the video China can make 5 nanometer chips by hand! If you haven’t I suggest you google that one for a good laugh.
Historically Taiwan is the original China, while the mainland is currently occupied by an insurgent regime.
Word. 💯
CCP is oppressor, killer of Chinese democracy
China all needs to do is honor Taiwan's independence and make them a strong ally but no they chose the worst option.
That's because a repressive communist regime is incompatible with a free thinking, capitalist society.
As a result, Taiwan, at least as it is now, could never be a strong ally to China.
What these nationalists do not remember, or maybe never learnt, is that China gave Taiwan away in 1895, and they gave it to Japan under the Shimonoseki Treaty. So Japan actually has a greater claim, if they wished to pursue it, than China.
Oh I didn't know that happened. It be funny if the wumao's are reminded of that.
I have been saying the same for years. Thanks for reiterating these basic historical facts - something wumaos and little pinks can't argue against.
To all little pink...... why did you all keep quite? I personally recognize Taiwan as an independent country, no matter what, Taiwan sovereignty must be keep at all cost.
Nvidia GPU's are so far advanced past the CCP's counterfeiting capabilities that they may as well be considered Magic.
Instead of investing in GPU, mainland China should invest in what they do best, which is TOFU.
Nvidia boycott china now for safety of your company.
It's getting too advanced to copy!
It's good that they can't reverse engineer the chips, instead of copying they need to develop their own
They don't have the knowledge nor the capabilities.
It's been almost a century. It's about time that the empty promise of "recovering Taiwan" stops having propaganda value.
CCP would be better off if they never mentioned Taiwan again. The only practical benefit of their Taiwan stance is domestic national fervor. It doesn't strengthen their political position outside of China and doesn't help them economically either nationally or internationally. Hell, if they stopped military spending in the Taiwan strait, they could find better uses for those assets.
Taiwan most important country in the world and china is just a region of taiwan.
Wrong. As the Chinese Civil War is ongoing, both Taiwan & the PRC is China. This does not mean I’m pro PRC/anti Taiwan.
usa is just a region of the confederate nation

Warlord nations declared independence. National China unified the warlord nations to fight Japan.
Communists declared independence forming a Republic.

Chinese stealing IP and copying? So surprised. So shocked. Great culture, NOT.
Every country that wants to excel in AI technology needs his GPUs. Jensen really has AI technology by the balls right now.
Little Pooh was so shocked by that comment that he choked on his own paw, thats why no response yet. 😅
It's difficult to comprehend how complex modern chip manufacturing really is! Even if China succeeded in reverse engineering the latest GPU, they still wouldn't be able to replicate it due to the immensely complex chain of processes involved. Just like the US edge when it comes to aircraft carriers, the know-how is accumulated over decades and cannot be replicated simply because you know what the ship, or in TSMC's case the GPU, looks like.
Pound for pound Taiwan is the most influential nation in the world.
China can counterfeit sneakers and designer bags, but not advanced graphics chips... and that's a good thing!
Taiwan #1
Taiwan is a free independent nation!
I loved how 1 man’s comment caused the entire CCP’s knees to buckle… then telling their 50 cent army to “shut up.” Now that’s real power that the CCP can’t touch.
It's because they need whatever he is selling

“Little Pink” or “ keyboard warrior” can’t do anything about it because that chip manufacturing is still crap
First is was Colonel Sanders' secret blend of 11 herbs and spices; now it's Nvidia's graphics card.
Nvidia and AMD together are 99% of the market. All American and Taiwanese.. lol . China is 0-10
So they even fail at stealing now?
The CCP knew it's place 😂, yea China can't just duplicate or copy it from looking at the hardware, your going to need to look at the GDSII or OASIS and also have EDA tools in which china don't have only the US. So it's not easy.
To be fair Made in China is good for one thing. Filling up skips or dumpsters, the box it comes in can also come in handy.
Jansen Huang was born in Taiwan, meaning he is a Taiwanese before he became an American...
paper tiger on a leash
China would be so much more developed if it was for the people. China has so many graduates yet, these graduates don’t seem to be fully deployed. This is an embarrassing mess of resource allocation. A good leader should seek to maximize all resource management. The only silver lining is on imported goods, plated with gold for high officials.
Leadership is too worried about losing power to allow the people to prosper.
Really, then Yellen should not Worry about Overcapacity.

The PRC will never exceed the USA in terms of GDP because most of the innovations comes from the West, and mostly from the US. But one most "give credit where credit is due." Mao and his associates brought China from a mainly agricultural nation to a manufacturing nation in roughly 50 years, that is a real accomplishment, but the toll is quite great, millions of people died in the process. Had millions of people died in the West that would be roundly condemned in by the news media.
The very core of the China mindset is at target. What makes a country great, it is the people. It has always been people. If you cultivate future generations to be free thinker to try out new ideas, China would be unstoppable. No matter how many Phd the country produces, the very core matters. The mindset and habit.
I kind of know the answer to this, but how did the country that invented the differential get so far behind?
The country of Taiwan❤
It wouldn't surprise me if nvidia was asked by the US to have an option to destroy a card on demand - just in case
3.1 Trillion Dollars..! bloody hell, I wish I'd bought some of those stocks back in the early days.
Taiwan IS one of the most important countries on earth.
And with the massive Chinese-built "Taiwan Independence Dam" sitting right there, we can be assured that China will NEVER attack Taiwan.
Have you seen simulations of what happens when only a handful of cruise missiles get through and unleash the Three Gorges dam? O_O
They probably do and probably will do it anyway this ain't the great leap forward.
That's a war crime sir...technically. No no to attack critical civilian infrastructure to cause mass casualties.

Not just that but the machines to MAKE the chips are specialized and controlled by 1 country.
China government showed great disdain for gaming to such as an extent they wanted to limit its use for its youth claiming it is a detrimental to the youth
That is the same reason they're getting rid of USD. Getting rid of things they can't get.

Well USA has already told Nvidia that they can't sell their high end GPUs in China. So they are already boycotting in some way.
China should ban Nvidia!!!!
If the CCP went away and China became more like Taiwan, then China would not need Nvidia.
Western Taiwan has to be very careful.
Realize they don't have the semiconductor tech they thought looking at the Westerner computers
Now imagine the computer they use to simulate and cad the newest next few gen they working with
If you know how people decap the silicon wafer
Etch it and fab it so you destroy parts of the physical gates and logic elements trying to get it under a microscope

Of course, it is one of the most important countries in the world. But his little slip of the tongue has to be excused for fear of losing access to NVIDIA.

Jensen: Taiwan is the most important COUNTRY in the world
China: Taiwan is not a country 😤😤😤
Even if they could understand the tech its highly unlikely they could replicate it. The fact that Taiwan is home to TSMC provides China with added incentive to seize control of Taiwan.
CCP will not be able to gain control of the golden TSMC fabs, there are kill switches on them and any attack would destroy the fabs. Europe and the US military provided the foundation for the internet that we have today. They aren't going to hand all that IP over to Xi JinPinger on a silver platter. The CCP plans to leverage quantum computing and AI, so that they can take over the world. China is wasting an enormous amount of rare materials to create EVs so they can dominate the market, the world is already knee-deep in a recession. So many EVs are getting dumped and rusting away in storage yards. China is also producing large levels of steel but no one is buying. China is out of control and wasting vital resources, at an environmental level it is unforgivable.
China's too cheap to copy chips
China has tried and never made a competitive x86 CPU.
And somehow China thinks it can make a competitive GPU?!
At least today Huawei can design a SoC using old technology.
They still run pirated Windows NT
Think of what the human brain is like when you look at these cards
Yeah, we've got layers and layers and layers and spindles of layers and transmission across gaps with pinpoint accuracy...all made of frickin BLOOD AND FATTY TISSUE likewtfnature.
Taiwan is the most important country in the world. They make 90% of the most advanced chips in the world. If Taiwan goes away. Modern society goes back. 5-15 years in technological development. Moore's law only works if you have a constant supply of chips. To improve the next generation of components.
That was a highly informative presentation. Thank you.

China is about to spawn their best chip maker who makes chips by hand 😂😂
Excellent presentation on the capabilities China must obtain or develop internally. But then it would be almost impossible to do anywhere else in the world.
Thank you buddy
The world has recognised one china policy but however it should distant itself from recognising CCP as the current unelected government party… why is that complicated as they do with African leaders and Middle Eastern countries…
Because chinese support ccp. Most are brainwashed
There´s something called compound interest in finance.
Its the same thing as compound investment in a business.
At higher investment+passage of time+a knowledge based product, you get technological complexity beyond what you can reverse engineer without spending billions to trillions of dollars. Nvidia since its existence has spent trillions on their chip design and manfacturing.
Any being that cannot be described or understood is basically a GOD.
Nvidia, AMD, and a few others (ASML, TSMC) are GOD for Chinese tech espionage.
You have to spend half a trillion to understand their silicon to product pipeline.
its possible to theoretically reverse engineer an nvidia gpu, but doing so requires cutting edge technology and funds only the US military could theoretically afford if they would stop spending on anything else for a few years. So, have fun with that.
I suspect that would be less expensive and time consuming to develop an entire new family of processors than copy one....unless they get their hands on the blueprints, which the CCP is trying to do by any means.
Great journalistic work
Sis china forget who had th tech to making chips in the beginning? Taiwan.... Bingo.
