      @mmccoy577 Yes...the only thing I didn't take a picture of before disability was the switch activator for the forward/reverse...had it upside down.
      Got everything back together, now I think the motor is bad so I'm on to that today. Thanks for the reply

    Hey man! Think I could give you a call for some tips? Working on a 36v ezogo. Solenoid clicks when you push the gas pedal but cart doesn’t move. Newer batteries. When the soldenoid opens the voltage across the posts are 0. So I’m assuming the solenoid is bad. But I don’t know anything about them.

    • @mmccoy577
      @mmccoy577  Před 2 lety

      Yeah, I will try and help. I got a lot of info off CZcams, those solenoids you can get at advance auto as well

      Just a heads up when I had this issue while back I ended up changing the part that he just changed in the video and got it to move again, the problem is that it's not making a good connection at the F/R Switch and that's why it ain't moving most likely

    These setups are unsafe. Kids push the gas pedal. You might take the key out but not everyone who drives your cart will get the memo. My neighbor's son totalled his cart and my daughter died by driving our cart into a pond, both about 2 years old at the time of the wreck. In both cases it was a non-parent who stepped out of the cart. Parents know their kids will go for the pedal and that may be safe enough, but if there's one mistake or if someone else takes a child for a ride then the outcome is certain as soon as they leave the accelerator unguarded. You can't catch a cart running at full speed and it will either come to an abrubt or submerged stop. Golf carts don't float like cars and airplanes. They'll go straight to the bottom of a pond immediately and trap a floating child against the roof. Even an expert swimmer will have trouble finding the child in murky water. One solution is to install a seat switch. I've pulled my cart out of the pond but won't be selling it until I've made it safe. The manufacturers need to do the same. I'm just trying to raise awareness.
