Man I love a video like this, so much great positive info! You put in so much work for this video and I really appreciate that. I recently had the problem of trying to look of a good book with bi rep and it was actually harder than I had expected. I have only just clicked that I'm bi so this was perfect for me. Thank you

I’m 100% going to check these websites out and blogs out.. I already use some websites but I’m always glad for more. I also now follow the booktubers you mentioned and your tumblr 😌😌 nayareadsandsmiles recently did a video on being a black booktuber and in the comment section there is a long thread full of POC booktubers, I recommend people going to that video and checking some of those channels out too. I myself am lesbian and I’m slowly but surely diving into the world of booktube (just putting that self promo out there)

Okay but i've never thought about it but you're so right about how much easier and more natural it gets to read diversly the more diversly you read! When i first started, i read a couple diverse book a month and i did it consciously. Now i read 90+% diversly and it happens naturally. This is such a great video 💖

Thank you so much for this video! Dahlia Adler is one of my favorite people on Twitter but I didn’t know that she’s active on Instagram too. I need to read more LGBT books that aren’t f/f romances so this came at just the right time!

Yes! Thank you for this! I’ve been wanting to read more queer books because I often feel disconnected from the community because I am in a relationship with a cishet guy, even though I fall under a ton of flags/labels. Queer content really helps with that, so much. I already follow yourself and Adrianna (omg love them!). Can’t wait to check out all these resources and people you have mentioned! Thanks again!

Thank you for this one. I always worry about reading a book without a recommendation from you or others in the community. I don't know enough to know if it is an accurate portrayal. Speaking of accurate...could you do a video defining all of the classifications? I google them, but I am not confident I am getting the most accurate definitions. Of course, I am clear on LGBT but after that, I get lost.

This is such an amazing video! Thanks for pulling all these resources together. I can't wait to start exploring the ones I hadn't heard of before.
One of my favorite sources for SFF is All Our Worlds: Diverse Fantastic Fiction. doublediamond.net/aow/home.php It's searchable by sexuality, gender, race, class, setting, and disability. I have found so many amazing books from their site. I don't think they've updated much in the last year or so, but it's still a great backlist resource.

I remember a while ago you recommend a website for LGBT+ books that didn’t have obviously gay covers?

Cara Patel yes! It’s actually a feature on LGBTQ Reads called “Under the Gaydar”. There should be a tag on the blog somewhere for those lists.
