Actually, each Merc stack (outside your country) has its own mil tech. Meaning you were likely having lower morale due to this. You can see it on the merc hire screen.

I dont know i you aware of it but you can join HRE and become emperor if you burn développement to be under 200 dev and have 199 opinion with Austria, wirh just a bit of luck before getting moldova and you super strong and rich, you even can revoke if you want, in my game wallachia was ally to byz so easy vassal + easy kill on Ottomans
Believe me. Poland is outplayed in every possible way. If I'm not doing something, it's just to play differently than I've played before, or it's not the goal. The only thing I don't think I did was Shinto Polish.

Haha, it's funny that "fierce" translated to "terrible" given the connotation of terrible in English is less "adamant and vicious" as it is just "lousy" or "poor." Terrible can somewhat mean fierce, but not usually in the same way. A "lousy" negotiator is certainly not something you would want to be
