And as a diabetic you simply can not fast. I had hyperglycemia gushing sweat and shaking. It can be serious and lead to a coma. Ozempic is a life changer . So much more healthy. Like I mentioned it’s not just about the weight loss. My diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol is under control. It’s also a plus for not having as much weight on your body, knees, hips, back etc. it’s not a bad narcotic drug. FDA approved and insurance p😢a large amount. I pay $11 a month.

She was the one who chose to share it all those years. Made millions from it and then suddenly all of this weight loss but "I didn't cheat". Imagine had she just stayed quiet instead of apparently letting her ego or greed take over. Anyway. Others have lied too. Now the cats out of the bag & It even seems like down to earth Kelly Clarkson is lying. They've all lost weight before but now it's with these super flat stomachs & more narrow faces. Ozempic also makes you feel full all the time which allows you to eat less easier. 'Oatzempic' is supposed to mimick that in its feeling full through out the day function which allows you to also eat less. So it's not about being dumb, it's the EASE of eating less that they are interested in. Try eating at a regular calorie deficit, and compare how that makes you feel and whether you can continue long term with ease

When I started intermittent fasting I wasn't eating any oatmeal and I lost weight. Newsflash: Fasting after dinner until mid morning before you eat helps you lose weight! Not snacking all evening helps you lose weight. Who would have thunk it? Oatmeal has little to nothing to do with it.
Now I did see a video showing how Allulose (a no carb sweetner) works on the GLP-1 receptors and can act like Ozempic. Also it turns out meat also works on the GLP-1 receptors too. And meat has no carbs so it continues to work.
I bet there are more than a few very satiating foods that work on the GLP-1 receptors erasing your hunger and allowing you to intermittent fast. So good luck with your oatmeal ozempic. Hopefully it won't give you the diarrhea or the gastroparsis that ozempic does.

Not everyone can do meal replacement under medical supervision, as the nutritionist interviewed suggested. And honestly, this oat-zempic shake-while a few additions could make it far healthier than oats and lime alone-it is still waaaay healthier than commercial cereals, poptarts, ultra-processed granola bars, etc.
The nutritionist saying “buy chia and flax seeds”-again, yes there are a hundred ways to make oat-zempic healthier. But chia seeds are expensive and many Americans can’t afford “extras” at the grocery store. Oats are cheap. Why not suggest other foods your viewers could buy cheaply and possibly in bulk?
I am not typically a GMA viewer (but I am an avid reader of clinical nutritional research). I assumed the show would do a better job of educating around this trend, while also being realistic about most Americans’ budgets and current dietary habits.
I can almost guarantee that if someone thinks oat-zempic is healthier than their current breakfast routine, it probably is. Nobody with nutrition science knowledge is going to eat this for breakfast (they might use oats as a base for a ton of vegetables, fruits, seeds, and so on). But this is far, far healthier than 95% of Americans’ current breakfasts. Discouraging it and saying, “oh you are too stupid to do this without medical supervisions, and if you can’t afford that, well, I don’t have any advice besides ‘try chias seeds’.” Ugh! This is why we have such a health crisis in our country right now. Shitty advice from outlets like GMA that command such a large audience.

All I know about it is my mom was unable to get her diabetes meds for 2 weeks because of it, putting her health at risk for people to afraid to touch grass and work out in terms of the ozwmpic drug. As far at the Oat-zepic fad, people are just pointlessly starving themselves, so when they return to a regular diet, they will gain it back double

Let them believe that it works, if it helps them lose weight, encourage more healthy eating and continued exercise. It's better than using all the medicine and it being unavailable for diabetics, who need it.
It is sad that we need something to keep us from eating, overeating while others are living with very little to no food at all.

Uh…it’s oatmeal…oats, water, cinnamon (and she added lime). It’s not cooked but instead put in a blender. People have been eating oatmeal as a healthy breakfast for centuries. 1 cup of oats has 10 grams of protein. 2 eggs has 12 grams. So no, she doesn’t need more for breakfast. But yes, referring to it as oat-zempic is ridiculous.

You have to be careful when eating/drinking uncooked oats. If there’s not enough liquid with it you can choke on it. Eating it cooked can also make you feel full and is safer than uncooked. Also bananas can make you feel full longer….just don’t eat too many because they are high in sugar….and sugar is sugar no matter if it comes from fruit or added in. But I agree with all the other comments….these people are just eating less and that’s why they are losing the weight…the oats aren’t actually doing anything other than making them feel full longer.

I'm sorry... This must be Quaker oats trying to save their company after being found out they used pesticides that is dangerous for children and adults alike.
Also if you are diabetic... Do Not do this... Oatmeal broken down will definitely spike your sugar. Steel oats can slow sugar spikes but still has a lot of carbs in order to be meal. Don't do it unless you get an ok from your endocrinologist

Oats are not going to spike your sugar because they are a complex carb and not a simple carb. Complex carbs don’t spike your sugar while simple carbs will spike your sugar. Thus, whole grains will not spike your sugar because they’re complex carbs while refined grains will spike your sugar because they are simple carbs.
