  • A super short video of my super cheap Aliexpress Boer Lion Carbon table tennis blade.
I remove a rubber that's been glued on for a week and used.
Removing the rubber was sooo easy.
The blade hadn't been varnished prior to glueing last week, hence the purchase of the varnish.
Judging from the ease of peeling, I could have gotten away with just leaving the rubber and blade as is.

Good video, I ordered it and was wondering if it will peel of the paint. Which type of glue did you use?

some tt cheap glue from aliexpress.
i varnished, then lightly sanded after to key the varnish to help the glue.
I did glue on a freshly varnished surface, and the glue didn't work, the rubber peeled off immediately

      Here's a vid i did - varnishing - czcams.com/video/_AcUVpRoPOg/video.html
I used cheap varnish too - applied thinly. Everbuild quick drying clear varnish satin - touch dry in 30 minutes

Hello sir, is this blade still alive? And how many grams is the weight of this blade?

    • @HowToFu

81g - that's the bare blade, no rubbers, after 4+ years of playing in a league

@@HowToFu what can you say about the control, and the performance of this blade sir? I'm planning to buy one

      really good
faster than standard 5 ply wood blade. slower (thus more control) than a full on alc $150 blade

@@HowToFu thank you sir for the info. Does it splinter when you change rubbers? And do you still use it after all these years?

nope. I've done another video where I apply quick dry varnish onto the blade a few days before I even glue the rubbers on. It provides a seal to the blade.
i give it a quick hand sand after the varnish has set, to key the surface for the tt glue.

Hi can you make a review of it's speed and other characteristics?

      Hi.
My previous blade was an aging Donic Waldner Senso V1
      revspin.net/blade/donic-waldner-senso-v1.html
To compare, I'd 100% say this blade is faster with equal or more control. No increase in weight, perhaps a touch lighter.
The sweetspot felt larger, giving me more feel, and increasing my confidence to go for my shots.
If the previous TT season wasn't cut short, I'd be confident that I'd have claimed top players spot in my division.
      See (warrington.ttleagues.com/league/580/division/1476/averages)
      I wolloped the leading player 11/2, 11/9, 11/8 (last 2 games I used at training games !)

  • @mondaleevangelista5707

    Is that real carbon?

    • @HowToFu
      @HowToFu Před rokem +1

Hard to say, as I've not deconstructed the blade.
