- Today we shall be elucidate the deeds of the Ultramarines 4th Company Captain: Uriel Ventris.
Born on the world of Calth, the storied legacy of his ancestor Lucien of the Chapter's elite 1st Company spurred Uriel to become among the greatest champions of the Ultramarines.

hate.” - Uriel is an interesting character. He doesn’t blindly hate Xenos like many other Astartes. But is instead a pragmatist that would the refine the Imperium, where he able too, much like his Primarch, Guilliman.
I'd love to see that Tau have that conversation with Gabriel Seth or Helbrecht. The pic footage would have to be censored even by Astarties standards.
Ventris must've been a student of Titus as well. Because just like him he's got MASSIVE adamantium b*lls!
Refinement holds no sway in the imperium .....humanities survival demands no time for fanciful ideas ...Uriel Ventris is that cut above so that he can work and be empathic to other ideas .... Most save marines could not muster their strength whilst doing both

I'll always have a soft spot for Uriel and Ragnar.Uriel and later on Ragnar were my intro to the 40k lore. I'd often ride past a huge GW store which even had senior mgmt staff there. So one day decided to pop in after a long day of riding and asked the guy what novels he'd recommend. This is back in the early 2000s when big GW stores still carried novels. I'd have never gotten into the lore and 40K if the guy hadn't recommended novels to me.
On a side note, dudes dad was the producer for the show 24. He didn't need cash just really enjoyed working at GW.😅

One of my favorite characters of space marines
Before I read Ventris books I always saw the Ultramarines as by the most annoying space marines chapter considering Matt Ward depicted them as invincible and the perfect image of what it means to be a Space Marine, and in particular the book “Damnos” with Cato made it so unbearable with how inconsiderate with the Guard who were almost killed to the last man twice, but once I read his first book it made me give the Ultramarines a second chance and ever since then I was never disappointed by the Blueberries and especially with the return of Guilliman and the Dark Imperium storyline.

I absolutely love Uriel Venteris ( maybe misspelled but whatever). I got into W40K because of the Daemonculaba and how supposedly horrific it was. Let me just say that to this day after years of being a fan of the W40K universe I am still in love with the Ultramarines and Uriel in specific.

If you like Thiel but not Cato, you should do some more digging in Cato's background. They are more alike than you might think. For I, Cato Sicarius, is the most misunderstood Ultramarine to ever exist.
Uriel might be the only primaris marine to still wield a base boltgun, for thst alone he is based

I am pretty new to 40k but is this the only confirmed space marine descendent? I always thought space marines were sterile.
