We have a little walmart in town. The workers are always friendly, will help find something if a customer can't. Most know me when i walk in, they always say "have a blessed day" as i leave, and when a couple of the girls in the pharmacy were leaving to work elsewhere they both said they had hoped to see my husband and i before thier last day.

I hate self check out!! I never use it anymore. Tried it a couple of times and got messed up both times. Could have been my error but I decided I wasn't going to stand there an feel stupid any more! That's what they pay checkers for. Now, my sister loves it but her work involved computers. Mine didn't.
If you are a Walmart plus member you can scan the screen and pay but you get a barcode for them to scan when you're leaving that has your full receipt on it
Last Year before Christmas this lady drove over our handicap ramp and I contacted the police ..the cop did nothing to this lady ..I was in the process to backing out of the van when this happened on my scooter ,she luckly didnt damage the ramp

I haven't encountered a Walmart Karen like these. The closest I've come is one day stone guy was in another aisle shouting something about being on welfare or some nonsense. Never saw him, just heard him.
I am currently disabled but I worked in retail for nearly two decades and let me tell you…it can be traumatic. I worked at Walmart three separate times in my early adulthood and thankfully it was before things got really bad-at least in the area in which I lived. I empathize with these folks; one of the reasons why I am disabled is because I literally cannot deal with people anymore. I become emotionally dysregulated so easily and I dissociate hard in order to function. People are too unpredictable and scary.

I worked at Walmart for 7months yeaaaaars ago. This women attacked me with words calling me every name in the book. I was in my early 20s and a lot more sensitive back then..luckily she hasn’t met me now.. 😂 she was mad that she grabbed something off of a clearance rack and when I scanned it.. it wasn’t on clearance. So I called a manager to double check and she went off on me threatening to have me fired. The manager told her it wasn’t on clearance and asked her to leave. People be crazy 😂

I got let go at a call center because a lady was screaming and cussing at me. She was calling the wrong department, I tried to write a supervisor call back form because the managers were in a meeting. I even messaged my manager the situation and she refused to take the call. I warned the lady five time not to scream and use profanity with me before I finally hung up the call. The cable company let me go because I didn’t want to be called a c word and a b word by some crazy lady asking for a manager I couldn’t provide. Then they outsourced my department to overseas. Blame Karen’s like this when you can’t get through to someone local. They had to switch to people who would put up with this abuse.
Then they get ticked off when they can't understand the outsourced reps and ask for American reps.

As I told another person, as a employee who works for walmart they aren't full of themselves. There are videos out there of employees breaking the policy but if you at all act like you have something to hide we will ask you. Shrink is no joke, and the reason why we have self checkouts is to make it easier on the registers an considering half the cashiers that always get hired complain so much and quit we never have enough cashiers so you gotta deal with self check although, I dont blame you altercations do happen alot. But this is a society problem not just walmart, if its so hard to show your receipt you give the person checking all reasons to think you're hiding because most cases they ask because the self check employee tipped them for suspicious behavior.

The worst of the public interaction I had was right after covid restrictions ended. All of the built up anger and frustration came out in a torrent of verbal abuse from customers and the product I was selling was very high end and these customers were "supposedly" upper class! They were the worst of the worst in over 40 years of my working with the public! I had to quit and take some time off to regain myself back to health!!
I find that hard to believe as more people were crazy during Covid than after.
Edit: example, I was a supervisor then and on my lunch break when I heard the cashier come to the back to vent to another employee that all she did was all the couple to wear a mask and the guy called her a fat b**** and verbally berated her. I asked if they were still in, because I was ready to go off on these mofos, but they had already dipped.
And then when they had the vaccines, the amount of ignorance. "How will they know if we've been vaccinated? Is it gonna be like Nazi Germany?!" And the fact we couldn't correct their ignorance was maddening.

I was at my local Walmart awhile back and I heard a lot of screaming in the main Isle. and I saw a crowd forming. I went out to see and it was 3 black women with thier claws out and ready to rip this middle aged white dude apart. he was yelling inappropriate things at them and they were trying to contain their rage. I saw an old lady trying to get through a kid in one of the baskets coming to watch the show. something came over me and I just acted like I was an angry parent or teacher or whatever and I yelled over them and told them nobody is doing nothing to anybody you go that way and you go that way now and then I turned to the crowd and said theres nothing happening everyone move. and they all did. and I pushed cart through the crowd and continued shopping. then it started to hit me...where did that come from? I didnt know why I did that then started to feel bad so I went looking for the 3 black girls and/or that white dude whichever I saw first I wanted to talk to and apologize and get their side of the story but I couldn't find any of them. on the drive home I felt so overwhelmed that I wept and dont know why. I kinda do and thats mainly seeing how people instigate each other and everyone wants to rip someone head off these days. all the shootings and racism. its too much people its too much...isnt everyone tired of how its a never ending wave of violence everywhere. the level of hatred in everyone is overwhelming.

That's the sad thing, not knowing who to trust or who not to. And the thing is, some of the most trustworthy looking individuals, could be the "worst." Maybe we should all just start calling out "coming through, I'm not a shoplifter." I'm Black, and I'm from Africa, and quite frankly, I'd call out "coming through, I'm not a shoplifter" anywhere in the world if I feel I have to, especially if get the feeling that "I'm under surveillance" or get the feeling that employees suspicious of me are following me around. I wouldn't like having to call out "coming through, I'm not a shoplifter," but I would, for my own safety and peace of mind.

Fun fact to the owner of this channel: Walmart is privately owned including their parking lot, it just opened to the public. They can dictate if they want your services or not, they can dictate if you are permitted to film on their properties. If the store employees want to trespass you, you have to leave the entire property.

I've seen way to many videos of people getting aggressively arrested for "stealing" at walmart while their fuckign receipt is in their hands, while the cops and the employees flat out refuse to even look it. I feel bad for the employees for getting fired for not 'preventing theft' but realistically in these situations when you have video proof and the receipt it self, you can sue walmart for falsely accusing you of stealing. its why other places dont chase people out into the parking lot and beath tf out of them over a frozen pizza.
These people are crazy. I’ve never seen so many people who think their bad behavior is justified, especially when they are called out for their bad behavior!

I’m sorry but when the worker said she was called “ghetto girl” over the phone…. It’s pretty convenient that it’s brought up for the first time at a different time and location! I think it’s obvious she’s lying to try and cover herself. It’s just disappointing when people throw other ppl under the bus to save themselves.

The customer at 6:15 has my sympathies. These retailers have switched to self-checkout and give the customer an option to print or email the receipt.
Even though they have the option, I would STILL print my receipt because of incidents like this.
Doesn’t give you a right to scream in their faces like some damn animals. The cashier said they are suppose to check receipts. Call cooperate to complain.
