Sometimes, customers just...don't deserve professionality. Especially if you don't give us it first. The lady was most likely a horrible person anyways, she literally told the poor employee she should go get hit by a car, which is definitely not something to tell someone who is saying they'll k* themselves. I don't blame fast food employees especially for having that behavior, knowing the people they deal with.
I've sobbed in front of customers because I couldn't handle it and they don't care. People are heartless. Glad to see that my mental wellness is worth approximately one Starbucks Frappuccino.

I never worked at a fast food restaurant. It bothers me that some customers think it's okay to belittle service workers and threaten to get them fired. We need them more than they need that specific job. When we're hungry, it's convenient and satisfying to get a tasty, hot meal within a few minutes. Imagine having to settle for potato chips or cookies. I know how to cook but I do not always have the time, energy, or proximity to cook a meal.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all current and former fast food workers for providing me a quick, fulfilling meal whenever I wanted one. If a mistake is made with my order, I usually just let it go. If it's a bigger one, I respectfully and cordially mention it, and the issue has always been resolved amicably. If they apologize, I say while smiling, "No need to apologize, we're just human. We all make mistakes". I usually get a smile back. Regardless, I say "enjoy the rest of your day".
The woman bitching about the cat is so funny. I mean, I get it and my cats never go outside, but if I opened the door, she'd see that I'm 3X her size lol
