That bus stop Karen reminds me of a person I encountered on a bus in Toronto. I use a mobility scooter and she wouldn't move out of my way on the bus because she claimed she didn't know me. She said it was her spot. Guess what?! She ended up having to move.
It reminded me of when my dad and I were on a train in pre paid for reserved seats in the disabled access seating as my dad has a wheelchair and this older couple came storming up to us with the woman so angry! She was adamant that we ‘stole’ her seats and kept telling us to move. It was also the way she said it, she didn’t politely ask if we had sat in the wrong seats like any normal person, the first words out her mouth were ‘MOVE, how dare you STEAL OUR seats!’ 😹
So my dad politely showed her our tickets with the seat numbers but she still wasn’t having it (my dad and myself are the least confrontational people you could ever meet 😹) So she whipped out her ticket pointing to her seat number and then her husband sheepishly said ‘oh we are in the next carriage’ 🙈
But she didn’t apologise, she just said that they were seated in those seats last time so those should have been HER seats this time and stormed off 😹
The people sat around us were laughing with us afterwards, she was so entitled!
Ok, the contractor was NOT the Karen! How dare the homeowner refuse to pay after the job is done, especially if the contractor purchased the materials!!! If the homeowner was unhappy, he can sue the contractor. You can’t just not pay for a completed job🤦♀️
Indeed, was annoyed when it came up. My sht father did an awesome job back then but remembered stories of customers making an excuse to not pay. Quite insulting, and criminal.

Do some research my sister. The contractor was a scammer. He advertised himself as a professional, charged for the labor and the materials of a professional job... but the guy has no idea how to renovate a bathroom. You can look up pictures. It looks like someone put it together with silly putty.
He wasnt even tearing it down because of payment, at least not completely. He was also tearing it down to prevent documentarion of how shoddy his work was.
If i paid for my "dream bathroom" and got a middle school arts and crafts project instead, i would probably refuse to pay the amount we originally agreed on.
He failed to fulfill his side of the agreement, why can't she??
Btw: this isnt a personal opinion. She posted pictures and actual professional renovators in the community were so appalled by the job he did, THEY built her perfect dream bathroom...

I am an ex-pro boxer (middle weight) and I had a run in a few years ago with a so called 200 lbs of solid armour. He was running off at the mouth and frightening young children, I told him to stop, but he became aggressive. I told him that my hands were no longer insured, but I coached at the local b/club. The guy doing the bathroom renovation I looked it up, I saw the pictures before he tore it up, man it was really bad. The grout was way to thick, nothing aligned, it was completely bad workmanship. I can understand why she wanted to wait till it was fully completed before paying. *(I own my own business as well, and I have dealt with customers who are just looking to get out of paying you. Which is why you need a contract signed before so you can always go to court if they refuse. You need to have written out exactly what they are wanting and what you are agreeing to do for x amount. The receipts are not part of it if the contractor is buying the supplies out of his pocket. It only matters if the customer is buying the supplies, so her needing receipts is none of her concern.) That said the customer should be allowed to see the finished work before the final payment is made to make sure everything is good. After looking at the photos it appears he was going to dip after payment because that work was shit. So he did her a favor by tearing it up

The fast food lady isn't a Karen, it's the broad ordering. If you want your food a certain way, you say when you're ordering, that's apparent to a child.
It sounds like she ordered the sandwich, the cashier entered it in, pushing it to the cooks, then she added her special request. I don't know what kind of system would push out the order before the end of the transaction. (You wouldn't design it that way because people change their minds all the time while ordering.) Sounds like she closed the transaction early and blamed it on the customer.
