      What I don’t understand is why the people who became immortal because of Jack’s blood didn’t gain the same self-healing abilities that he has.

    • @EditedAF987
      @EditedAF987 Před 3 lety +2

      Stephen Murphy my theory is that the Blessing was using the blood as a template as it was a fixed point in time. It then went and tampered with the morphic field of earth, hooking up humanity to the time vortex to make them fixed points in time whilst simultaneously disconnecting Jack. That has got to take up a lot of power connecting an entire species up to the vortex so the properties were probably stretched thin

      Salome Arbel Agreed. The series felt 85% American and 15% British. If it was well balanced it would’ve been much better (50% American, 50% British). I think it was because RTD was trying to introduce Torchwood to American audiences and needed it to be predominantly American for it to appeal to American viewers.

    I think for Torchwood to return for a new series the story arc could be about searching for Torchwood 4 base - but Captain Jack discovers that a member of The Family runs Torchwood 4 (location still needs to be thought of ) anyways - Torchwood team for Series 7 would it be then ? - the team will be Captain Jack, Rex, Gwen, Martha Jones, Mickey Smith (recurring), a new male member, Louis from Children of Earth - she would be out of prison by then and Jack might give her job opportunity as secretary / butler - and Rex will have two or three people over in America
    so they could do big episodes for world wide missions
    Yaz may join Torchwood recurring maybe - The Doctor might help for a n awesome Torchwood special !!!!
    im posting my ideas so that someone might write about it and make it happen hopefully :D after our real life pandemic ends please :D
    just a few ideas there !! oh and Miss Kisztenger (sorry cant spell her name) - she is the new boss for the famiy working on Plan B which could be Torchwood 4 ( Jack said it was messy business maybe he knows only some of what happened about Torchwood 4 )

      Jedi Spartan 38 at the time miracle day came out the tardis was falling to earth well also travelling through time. It’s possible he could have missed it.Because he skip 12 years to Amy Pond. Remember miracle day came out around season five of Doctor who. Overall miracle Day lasted around 7 months. It is possible he missed it and didn’t hear about it.

    • @Jedi_Spartan_38

      @@TateAndLeoStudio no, Moffat reset the DW universe to 2010 as shown by Amy and Rory's wedding and the total event collapse being on 26th April 2010 so this runs parallel with series 6 where he left them on Earth over summer so Rory would probably have been dropped into a situation similar to the characters at the end of this clip if he and Amy had left prior.

    • @TateAndLeoStudio
      @TateAndLeoStudio Před 3 lety

      I just realised miracle day was after series 5. But at this time the doctor was more hyper focused on his death. He was also travel all around messaging Amy and Rory in weird ways. He only showed back up when he was younger called or older About to die. He’s away he was still wrapped up with a lot of stuff. He also spent five or six months in space plus just to look for melody after the adventures.
