that bit under his breath " crazy bitch!" is cause they used to date but got on eachothers nerves, i though was brilliant, he probably always wanted to do that
Love how Rex is actually good at talking himself out of stuff here XD
3:45 the head photoshopped onto her is the best thing in the entire show.
I think what they did was a shot of her walking backwards for the body. Then they did one of her forwards but for the head, they spliced the footages together and did tracking so the head doesn’t look like it’s floating but it still does.
I thought you Americans had big SUVs, this is rubbish. Gotta love Gwen and her Welsh sass
Patrick Mccallion She definitely misses the Torchwood SUV. 🙏
If there was one thing I loved about Miracle Day, it would be Gwen’s lines 😂
aw they cut out the best line at the end when gwen goes
"Welcome to Torchwood"
They did too
"Welcome to Torchwood!"
You quoted both Gwen AND Yvonne Hartman (head of the Torchwood base in London).
Loved this show!!!!
I love how it’s just another day at the office for Jack and Gwen.
Didn't know that Takeshi's sister once tried to poison Captain Jack.
Actually she's one of the dolls sent from the dollhouse to play Takeshi's sister to poison Capt. Jack. 😝
"Oh my god, you two are idiots." Normally I don't care for Rex all that much, but he does have some great interactions and lines :p
Shield and torcwood are so similar
SHIELD is more like UNIT, in my opinion.
@@stephenmurphy2212 pre uprising shield was like unit, but post uprising, they are more like torchwood than unit,
Robert K The Three Families were more like the new Hydra created by Zola because they also were manipulating Earth’s history throughout the 20th century.
I think Torchwood is more like the B.P.R.D. from ‘Hellboy’.
The beginning of the end of Torchwood the Americanisation.
And what's Jack?
Well the Americanisation ended in Miracle Day, the current Big Finish Torchwood audio dramas are quite good
@Jason Mistretta that was when Starz Entertainment took control
i don't get why people are being so bitchy over it being mostly set in and starring American characters. As an American I see how insanely fucking british doctor who can be (sometimes it feels like the earth according to doctor who is the UK and that's about it.) and I don't mind one bit.
@@fartherthanspace4473 Doctor Who has always been a british show, often times with a budget that has limited the scope of potential settings and locations on earth. This has changed more recently with the 13th doctor's run, which has definitely travelled around a fair bit more thanks to an increased budget. I find it funny that you pick on Doctor Who for being too british when so much media, especially US media/TV/movies, focus heavily on the US while ignoring the rest of the world, sometimes so much so that it seems like as you say, 'that Earth is the US, and thats about it'. Let us have Doctor Who (an important part of british media history and heritage), and its various spinoffs, and you can keep all the many 10s of thousands of other shows that are native to your country. I agree that the disdain at having a US based torchwood show is mostly unwarranted but there's no need for your hostility either. Just accept that shows are made the way they are, and if you don't like them, don't watch.
Those 'what the heck' looks!
“ Hey, you know, I just remembered there's one final piece of legislation needed to make this a full and proper rendition. And according to recent amendments to US code section 3184 and section 3185 on transferring prisoners from airside to landside, the law clearly states that once they touchdown on American soil, they have free and easy access to one very important thing. “
Oh hey its daisy's (sky's) Mum
The way her neck twisted ohhhh shitttt😳😳😳
What’s Jiaying doing here?
Jareth The Goblin King is it a running joke now that she keeps getting her neck snapped?
@@therottenlemon5048 If it is, it's a pretty terrible joke
I guess I need to check this show out.
Ughhh miss it!! 🧡
Dichen Lachman is like, the most beautiful woman alive.
I miss Torchwood.
This is the moment that got me to like Rex.
oh, she is still alive
Any scene with Dichen Lachman in it is a good scene :-)
Australian/Nepalese. Her looks are so exotic she automatically looks like a different species. Very attractive. There's a scene from Dollhouse of her on a treadmill. Impressive physique as well.
What year is this???
Why are they uploading stuff from this show now?
Are they testing the waters for another season or is that just hopeful thinking?
How come I saw no sign of UNIT in Torchwood Series 4?
Because they’re part of the government. Whereas Torchwood is beyond it
Julius Stricto that doesn’t mean UNIT shouldn’t be involved in investigating the Miracle Day pandemic. They handle extraterrestrial anomalies.
Stephen Murphy considering that the Families and the committee had their hooks everywhere within the government they were probably restricting UNIT’s access and investigative powers. Torchwood had the luxury of being rogue
Julius Stricto remind who the committee was again?
Julius Stricto so they could restrict UNIT’s access but not the CIA’s?
I really do not like what they did in the fourth season as it wasn't in his blood but what the TARDIS did to him. But hey thats just my personal bias showing through still better than what they diid to Dr Who in the newest regeneration, good actor bad writing.
How is she alive?
... that's the entire point of Miracle Day. no one dies any more, not from illness, not from old age, and not from accidents or murder.
Anya
Why do they always have to kill the HOT chicks? 😭
JiminyCriket but she didn’t die....
Because they're the most evil
A blue mini is very inconspicuous in America 😂😂😒
This season was not as good as the other seasons as it was more militarised and not fighting extra terrestial species
"Alright, just drive, drive."
Gotta admire her dedication.

This was not the best season. Somehow they took away Jack's immortality temporarily a power given to him accidently by the Bad Wolf entity in Rose. A power by the TARDUS itself. Never made any sense.
The way they explain in at the end makes sense
@@ninjagamer1359 how did they explain it? I never got to see the whole season. I only remember they had some of Jack's blood and they were using it somehow. But how it removed his ability to heal I dont get.
@@SchardtCinematic I would recommend watching it over again. Miracle Day is actually a pretty great series, despite what some Torchwood diehards will tell you. Not perfect, but pretty high quality overall, nearly as good as Children of Earth if you ask me. It's all available for streaming for free I think right now via iTV, or, if that's not available to you because you're in America or something (like me), HBO Max.
But to roughly explain anyway - spoiler alert obviously - the finale reveals that the Three Families who caused the Miracle did so by inserting the blood of an immortal (namely Jack) into the Blessing, which is this thing that exists within the earth that controls the planet's morphic fields (which if you need a refresher on those, you could google them; they're a real pseudoscientific concept, and also receive a few explanations in the show). Basically, morphic fields connect to every living creature of a kind through their DNA/blood and basically regulate the behavioral rules by which each of these creatures operate. So in this case, Jack's blood, which operates on the rules of being immortal, reversed the rules being sent out by default to normal humans, which was mortality. So the morphic field was trying to replicate Jack's immortality and apply it to the whole human population, meanwhile due to the flip Jack's DNA started receiving the instructions to die like normal. If that doesn't make sense to you still, I do recommend googling Sheldrake's theories of morphic resonance
@Kian Jacob O'Reilly Exactly! Jack's immortality has nothing to do with his biology.
@Kian Jacob O'Reilly Yes it is I agree with you on everything you've said. Its rediculas and the writers dont know Jack about Jack.
