Well, with Ryan becoming Castle Jr. over the years. its even more perfect.
I see Ryan and Esposito as Beckett's brothers - Esposito as her older brother and Ryan as her younger brother. Esposito looks out for both of them, and leans on Ryan occasionally like an older brother would.
They've shipped them from the jump and been invested ever since lol

This show will live forever because no matter how many times I go back to the beginning it is new again, all it takes is some stray random quote in the voice of Beckett or Castle to enter my head and I am smiling from ear to ear.

4 seasons? Try Bones, Booth and Brennan got together after like 6 seasons or something all those seasons dancing around with different partners.
And if I remember correctly they just became official because Booth got Brennan pregnant. So we got it easier with Caskett.

There was always a reason I loved this show. The magic was just dripping with sexuality , loads of comedy, and general great acting for the small screen.
And not the overly raunchy, gratuitous kind of sexuality. But done elegantly, in a charming and polite way.
I just finished watching the whole series chronologically and in its entirety. Just found out that apparently those two hated each other, (extremely disliked? They didn’t talk off camera supposedly.) that’s good acting.
I wish they where in more shows together of some sort I can’t get enough watching it to this day still

Castle... What can I say? I've seen breaking bad, house of cards, game of thrones, walking dead... List goes forever. One thing every show lacks, what Castle has, is, I don't know how to put in words, "Castleness" perhaps :) the way I look forward to every episode, laugh everytime just from the tiniest things, especially the facial expressions are hilarious, akward moments, romance between Castle and Beckett etc. This show has it all and long may that continue! :)
I couldn't agree more, especially the part about the facial expressions, i've never seen a cast before than can say so much and bring so much comedy from just facial expressions and not saying anything at all.its genius. amazing show!
TVCastleAlways yeah, facial expression takes comedy or any genre to a whole new level. I think I would enjoy Castle even without any words. The expressions tells everything; attraction between Castle and Beckett, the way that Esposito looks Ryan sometimes and says something that annoys Ryan, but u can see from the expressions that they are best friends and they are just having a little fun. They don't need to tell the viewers that they were only kidding, everyone knows just how much they actually like one another judging by their expressions. It all starts with the eyes and it's not everyday when u see a show with such a talented cast. Most importantly the chemistry between everyone. I have watched shows where there has been only one character who I really like. With Castle I don't have a favourite, it's like ur family, u can't choose whose ur favorite becouse u love them all just as much :)
ErenceTT yeah they do use. Not as much perhaps. "House MD" is one of my favorite shows and it goes to show that expressions goes a long way when u do them right. A good show isn't just about the script, it requires good acting. Castle and House have managed to do that to perfection. When u can make someone laugh with a good expression, a show can't be bad. In some shows and movies everything feels so fake. They try but they don't get the "realistic" expression.

There may never be another show that has this kind of on screen chemistry with the entire cast and the story that it told again. It was such a disappointment to see it go bad like it did.

I just started watching not to long ago. And its crazy good, even the serious episodes. NiCE.
stumbled upon Castle by accident as it started replaying the series now on Lifetime. What a crazy good ride this is. Mine started somewhere in the middle til the end and I was so hooked by the stories and actors that I was sad to see it end, only to see they restarted at the beginning. I googled to learn a bit more about the actors but found that the fantasy of their portrayal would be soured by the realities of the personalities, some who I read did not get along. Since it's fiction I prefer to live in the fantasy that these great writers and actors portray rather than to know the truth. Great series and although a bit late a HUGE THX to all who made this possible. Cheers and best wishes to all

Every episode is a 'mini movie' that could be shown in a theater. What makes this series so great is EVERYTHING; the writing, lighting, directing, sounds, cameras, clothes, etc. Not being an actor, I can only imagine all the behind the scenes people coming together each time. There's a definite rhythm that happens right from the start to the very end. For me each actor brings their own character to life. Each has a distinct personality, written for them and given life by each individual character, which together becomes this insanely scary, hilarious and sad symphony. It's as if the writers were tasked to hit each one of everyone's emotions every episode. To me it seems as if every actor puts their ego aside for the greater good. Thank you to all who made this series and to Lifetime for rerunning it.
