Being able to drink (USA adult is 18, drinking is 21). You dream about being an adult and in charge of your life... but there are friends, family- loved ones you can’t get back.

I missed most are my parents and the 80s where life is pure , simple and lots of great fun when there was no computer , cell/ mobile phones and those high tech gadgets now that we have , just hanging out and talking to family and friends without interruption from cell phones and social media.
I was born in 1998 but I did not know anything about the internet or social media until I was in 8th grade just because of economic deprivation. But now I think I was so lucky as I had a pure childhood. I feel so peaceful when I think of it.

An old TV with bad reception, a VCR player and maybe 3 videos I loved. And of course the good old Atari game with tennis! Wow! They were the best years. Things were simple, people had time and family and friends spoke in person and were always outdoors climbing trees (remember those things- they grow in parks and fun to sit up in high branches). We fell out of the trees, came flying off trampolines and broke bones but built character. I grapple to instill these things into my children's lives and wish they had the same freedom as we did then. We ate dinner at the table together-no TV! Shops closed after 5/6pm and on weekends... this song takes me back to all of those precious days again. So much emotion in his voice and it shows in those stunningly deep and beautiful eyes of his. Love you Callum. His duet version of 'You Are The Reason' with Leona Lewis is STUNNING! I cried tears when I stumbled upon that one- three letters and one word WOW! 😭🤗
