I'm glad you enjoyed it. Wolverine assist does help the other Wolverine but I'd say that Thanos bubble is indubitably the best assist to pair with Wolverine
@ 5:15 that was absolutely ridiculous 😅🤣. Its unfair for Wolverine to give Hulk the claws to the back right AFTER a super before hulk can do a thing lmao. Awesome matches. I think once MagusOld can time his opponent's assists then he begins to dominate. Phenomenal matches. Brett, do you know why wolverine was able to block Spidermans super before he was all finished with Fatal claw at 13:56? He hadn't ripped through Hulk yet, but somehow forced the super to cancel and block.
Good question. At 13:56 Wolverine was in the middle of doing Weapon X (not Fatal Claw) and that super is unique in the sense that it allows Wolverine to interrupt the super at any point by executing a superjump cancel. It's odd because even though you do a superjump cancel to interrupt the hits of the super, wolverine does not actually do a superjump. That was extremely smart of Derek to preemptively interrupt his super so that he could block MagusOld's attempt to counter attack him with a super of his own.

I notice that Derek rarely ends his air combos as Bone Wolverine with Tornado Claw. Does Drill Claw work better as a finisher, then? (Just curious. There's precious little documentation on the subject.)

Good question! I'll do tornado claw finisher only if it will kill. Drill claw ender wall carries and sets up more pressure.
