Some video and extreme close up views of this 1/350 Scale model replica of the USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701 as seen in STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE completed in 2010 for Robert Meyer Burnett director of 'FREE ENTERPRISE'
Refit paint guide will be out soon. Visit www.trekmodeler.com and make sure to purchase Paul Olsen's book about how he painted the Refit ENTERPRISE NCC-1701 filming model. www.startrek-enterprise.us/Sta... - Krátké a kreslené filmy
You really nailed the right colors for the original paint job. Bravo!
That is some astounding detail. Movie quality.
Beautiful job!
I always admired the design and paint job on the film model. It was the ideal overhaul of the original design and the Enterprise never looked as impressive since. Great work on this video/model.
Dude, you are so right.
That is just mindblowing. I am getting back into making models after about 20 years and have just bought the amt enterprise-e 1:2500 scale model. Finding it rather daunting after looking at youtube vids.
Thank you
Stunning model!
You did a very clean professional beautiful job just beautiful
Thank you, that's just what I was wondering. I look forward to the refit paint guide!
Excellent job!
No clear coat was applied. It would remove the matte/gloss satin finish. Refit Paint guide will be out very soon on our site. Look for it hopefully this weekend.
Amazing!!
This is OUTSTANDING!!! I've built many 'Star Trek' ships... And none of my 'azteking' came out like this!! I'm thinking automotive paint, and 'Mother of Pearl' powder..?!?
Tremendous job!!!
Try Martha Stewart Pearl Paints from Micheals. It has worked well for me so far, for the 537 scale Aztec Decals.
I hand painted my Pearl Colours on the Aztec Decals. It turned out great on the Saucer of the 1000 Scale Refit.
Excellent work. this video is metioned in Paul Olsen's book "Creating the Enterprise" page 242 of the 2013 edition
I hope my turns out just as good
Probably the best I've ever seen. One question: did you cover the Aztecs with an acrylic coating?
It's beautiful, I'm going to do mine with out all the iridescent paint, when I look at the studio model at Blue Origins it isn't over done and really has a 747 look, almost a sanded look and even though it might not seem great it looks good - perfect if you will. One must ask them self- in the future what would a star ship look like? I believe it will be like a modern day jet liner.
I wish you could get a hold of the original studio model and restore it's paint job.
Did you put a clearcoat over everything when done?
Fantastic model! How do you do the pearl look?
I will use pearl paints on the Aztec decals for my 1:537 Enterprise-A. It takes about five minutes per saucer wedge. I first tried it out on my 1:1000 Enterprise Refit a year ago, with metallic paints: czcams.com/video/X7HuQ7g8uhk/video.html
I'd love to know what paints you used.
Beautiful work, looks a bit "garish" on camera though. I'm in the middle of my build, and I must say, for a much vaunted kit, it has MANNY shortcomings! Not the least of witch is abysmal fit, and inaccuracy's that should have been picked up on before production.
I want ,I want ,I want.
WOW. WHAT A COLLOSSAL WAST OF TIME. WHEN YOUR DONE WITH THESE THINGS. DO YOU EVER FELL DEAD INSIDE. DO YOU EVER SAY TO YOUR SELF " I COULD HAVE BEEN OUT DOING SOMETHING REALLY MEANFUL WITH MY LIFE". OTHER THEN THAT IT LOOKS COOL.
Franz Haas why don’t you do something meaningful with your life and learn how to spell? Obviously learning tact, kindness and education were never on your list of top priorities. What a colossal waste of a life.
Jean-Jacques Paravisini Hey, it looks cool. DO YOU NOOOOOOOOOO DEE WAY?
@@jjparavisini I signed in just to like this comment. I wish I could like it over and over again.
Thanks Todd Cytra. People like Franz are the buckets of freezing water of the world. They’re only purpose in life is to bully and put down others’ hard work. There’s no place for hurtful people like that. It has to stop.
