Recently got into 3d printing and im amazed at the high quality models you can print... Oke it does take about 2 and a half maybe 3 days but i have a intrepid model thats over 30cm😅

Do you have any coloring tips/ paint suggestions to get the ships looking more like how they look on screen? The suggested color guides always have this gross blue tint to everything.
I understand that thats probably how the actual model looks and it's camera/movie magic that makes the ships look the way they look on screen, but I'd like to try and recreate those looks as much as i can

I might have missed it but are these lacquer or enamel? Personally I use the overpriced 3oz. Tamiya lacquer rattle cans.

For us in EU, Color-Matic is good option - Both adhesion promoter and sandable primer.

Tip: Many primers are just regular spray paint. The tip is to look for "high-build" and "sandable" with drying times above 20 minutes
