@@mialeonard1838 I have a GLE 53 too and the cabin room is the same of the GLS (with less boot room of course) that I have too. The cabin is huge. Great car.
63 is the real AMG hand built by one person.
@@mialeonard1838 I have the coupe version, I think the cabin room is ok. The headroom in second row is lower than the SUV but I don't find my hair touching the ceiling. It has more room than the x6.

I want a 63 so bad but the 2k monthly note just doesn’t make sense lol. Oh well love my 53 and such a solid SUV!

To get the 63 with 2k monthly I had to put down 30k, on a 36 month contract. Expensive? Yes, but it was absolutely worth it and thank God I can afford it 😊

GLE 53 Coupe starts at $76K
GLE 63S Coupe starts at $116K
The prices in US are incredibly low. In Germany the GLE53 Coupe starts at 95k € ($115k) and the GLE63S Coupe starts at 145k € (175k $)...it’s just an insane difference in price between a 53AMG and a 63S and not show it in exterior design...
@@mihaicostescu i live in US but in my native country The Dominican Republic the GLE53 price is$($144k) and GLE63s maybe 200k or more because there is not yet in the country.
In Greece gle 63s is 220k € not even $

Larger brakes (like the ones standard on the 63) are available for the 53 too. We bought a 53 (scheduled delivery next May...with order placed last Sempember!) and we ordered the high performance brake system (4000 Euros...).

Just got my 53 totally spec'd out. Every avail option added 30k. This is my daily, and i wnted all the tech. I'll save up and get another...maybe the Gt 4 door. I felt no need for the 63 after looking at them both. Basically save alot and get another vehicle for use

Amazing SUVs! Ivan, the light that comes on around the speaker next to the side mirror, is that some kind of package? I see alot of GLE 53s and none of them has that cool feature. I was just thinking it's extra package!
It comes with the upgraded Burmester system
It’s not just the burmester it’s the 3D burmester audio. Most 63’s don’t have that package. The 3D is a very solid system.
After looking at both, I ended up ordering a 63s. Both are great, but by the time I got all of the options I wanted, the price difference was not nearly as drastic. Another issue, 22" wheels would increase the wait time by extra 3 months. Ended up with 21" all season tires. Mercedes needs to work on it's wheels anyways. Decent chance I'll go aftermarket

Wow...literally no difference in the design but more than 65k euro difference in price...
It's the engine that you're paying for.
The 63 version but I like the 53 pipes better because they're round, the color is beautiful, I would only change the interior for orange and if not orange then red.

I drove both and then I drove the Jaguar F Pace SVR. Ended up with the Jag because the sound, handling and overall experience was much better.

I am always surprised when manufacturers offer black cars for a video, it is impossible to see the detail inside or out although the light show is very nice. For me it's the GLE53 for its efficiency that appeals, the GLE63S is for those with too much money but may want a souvenir of days gone past when it becomes electric only.

I would choose v8 if I have the budget for it, but if I have to save I would pay 49k less of course.
Gle 63 coupe
So, if you wanna drive fast and show off get the v8, but I’m a V6 or in-line guy for power and economy. Very similar otherwise……………..53, winner!
63s makes no sense for me. This is a daily driver and it needs to be comfortable. If you want to a race machine but a sport car. Mercedes GT is a good choice

Honestly, the exhaust system is too damm noisily, with this popping sound, I don't love it one bit, I would change the exhaust system to a quiet version !!
Just drive in comfort mode and close the exhaust pipes, it's more quiet.

Set aside $2000+ every year for tire replacement on gle amg cars. I have to replace tires every 7000 miles.

Who cares. I've ordered my 53 coupe and I'm good with that. I don't need more than 429 hp. Same color red interior and red calipers for starters. $95,000 is a decent price I can sleep at night. May I add My badge/Mercedez 3-pointed star will light up at night. I had to get rid of some of the perks/computer stuff in the badge but I'd rather have it light up at night.

53 feels very slow for an AMG 0-60 in 5.2 is too slow. If it was 4.5 it would be much better daily. 63s at 3.7 is much better
If you like performance you have To go with 63s. By the time you fully option the 53 you're at 112k might as well go 63s
