At almost 50 years old I realized that the interest I've always had in rocks could've been a career for me. I love collecting stones and researching their qualities and attributes. During quaratine I realized that I probably would've wanted to be a geologist had anyone around me knew what it was or cared what I had interests in. Since then I've decided to shift my current job into a career where I can have a hand in informing kids of different interests. I love that Riah and I have something in common,
I’m 33 and I punch air at the fact that parents didn’t encourage or invest in the things that I was interested in while growing up. Who knows where my life would be. Instead I’m still “figuring it out” 🫠

My husband and I just had our first baby which is a girl this past Saturday on the 12th.
Its has been a challenge navigating the newborn stage but seeing this and how your introducing your children just makes me look forward to seeing how our Babygirl will flourish into her own personality and person.

I love this so much. Reminds me of my early elementary students who for some reason kept using scissors and making a huge cutting mess. One of the teachers just told her to clean up her mess but I inquired about what she was making. This girl showed me how she had designed, color cut and fitted new outfits and dresses for her Barbie dolls. And the fashion! Omg! I was so blown away that on my last day at that school I got the girl a gift, a doll dress making kit with a note telling her to follow her dreams 💕

Smiled from ear to ear at this. As soon as Anaya started to confess, I was immediately taken back to doing things like this with my younger cousins. Being the eldest cousin, I made my cousins swear to secrecy in all the "devilment" we committed. Good times!🤣😅
These kids are going to be cracking up thinking about this stuff when they’re in their 20s and 30s haha. The teamwork is on point. They’re so smart.
The oldest is such a sweetheart. Having a dad like you these kids are going to have a happy well adjusted adulthood. If all dads were like you we would have such a wonderful society.

Uzi is just like the one character in every movie or show whose not the main but somehow through his quirks becomes a deeply beloved fan favorite and ends up having a spin off that does just as good . your family is wonderful but uzi never fails to make me melt and laugh !
She reminds me of myself, Anaya. She is always protecting and looking out for her littler brother. I was like that with my little brother. I am the only girl among four brothers and I was the 2nd to the last one born as well, my little brother being born last 🙂. I can't wait to see what they're up to.

3:55 Theo manipulated Uriah. He didn't really want to spray down the yard or clean up the poop. Therefore, he fooled Uriah into agreeing to both cleaning the poop and spraying down the backyard by first volunteering to clean the poop himself. Pretty clever move. He playin chess wit them youngins. 🤣 🤣😂

My children (3 boys remind me so much of yours) 12 yr old is chill and so intelligent, 8 year old is my wild child so full of life and love and my 5yr old is is witty and and strong willed. Such a pleasure watching from San Diego!

I love how you didn’t tell them off for cutting up their shoes. You’re encouraging their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. I got my ass whooped for modifying my shoes when I was about 5. I used to draw dresses and designs all day too and I got in trouble for doing that instead of reading books. Maybe I would have found my passion if I had been encouraged 🥺. But our parents were just doing their best so it’s all good. It’s lessons learned for my own and the next generations 🙏🏾

I was watching Yvette baking in one of your old videos. She put aluminum Foil only around the edges of the frozen pie crust, so that the pie crust never burned while inside the oven. This idea never entered my mind. I have just accepted black burnt pie crust edges as the price of a well baked pie. Thank you Yvette. I did it your way. My pie was now perfect. I love pie crust when its not burnt. You are an intelligent, creative young mother. So enjoy your family. THANKS! Just in time for the holidays.
