Great job on the solar setup. There are some cheap LiPo 12v 100 amp hour batteries on Amazon now. I picked up two of them for less than $400 with 1000's of cycles of life.
That’s true only problem is the bmc in some of them are noisy when it comes to the computer

How much interference is the LED RF causing for the radio if it’s giving the camera that much trouble. Difference frequency I guess?
Cameras have a refresh rate that you can change depending on the lights. GoPros refresh rate was just slightly off for those lights

Im sorry to ask, but is this a simplex hotspot?
The reason i ask is because im coming from a land mobile (Private business frequency) setup with amateur radio experience. So with that in mind please excuse my ignorance.
There’s a lot of uses but It could be used as a simplex node to use on All star eco link zello or anyone other voice over ip setup.
@@JDubbsadventure I'm looking into several different options because I don't want to go through the trouble of getting in touch with a frequency coordinator in another area to put up another repeater at the ranger go to plus going through all the trouble of linking repeaters together.
A friend of mine told me that I can put up a mmdvm repeater at his place, but that's all new to me. After watching your video I'm completely rethinking the whole thing.
The reason why I'm going through all this trouble is because there is zero cell service there and my wife really hates that even 911 isn't available. Having a mobile in my car and something like this at my friend's place would give me a lone of communication to at least her via internet connected radios.
Is there a guide, or somewhere I can go to get all the details on this because it seems to be completely different from the mmdvm repeaters I have been looking at.
@@jameslargen284 where ever you put this radio it’s going to have to have wireless internet. Gmrs works well with this since there are no frequency coordinators and your wife can use your gmrs call sign. This would work well with a repeater. Ex you have a repeater up on a hill, you have this node at your house where the WiFi is. You hook the node to zello and your wife puts the zello app on her phone. Now no matter where she is in the world she can get in touch with you as long at you have internet to the node and you can “hit” the repeater. The repeater isn’t necessary but it does work well for this. My friend has a you tube channel that’s all about linking gmrs repeaters and nodes…. Gmrs_two_way_radios
@@JDubbsadventure I appreciate the response and info. This definitely seems like a viable option and works out perfectly with my friend allowing me to install at his home with fiber access.
