- This video was made to install the GMRSLIVE image on a Rasberry Pi 3B or Pi 4, in less than 10 minutes. This tutorial demonstrates how to download the neccessary software, image, in order to get you up and running. Note this video is the first step in hopefully a long series designed to make your radio node setup easy.

I was struggling with this, came across this video on Facebook and I am up and running.. life saver!
Dude, this is so much easier than GMRSLIVE tutorials!
Not a problem!
VERY interesting, Mr Kurvy! I had no idea it took so much typing input to setup a node! I was real lucky…Beryl texted me the credentials and all I had to do was type them into my T-320 and the DV SWITCH on my phone. I had the easy part! I suppose this is merely a piece of cake for ‘you’ seeings you’ve done it so many times! Very nice video! Have a blessed evening! 73s! ~ Jim~ WRXY695 North Houston,Tx

Let me know if you need any help! Kurvy
I think you wrote me a ticket once, are you a cop? Just wondering?
Possibly.. you got me laughing.
Do you own the Hammond Repeater?
I do, how can I help you
Ok you plug HDMI into pi where does the other end go? Downloaded the files from GMRS Live do I transfer to card? Or leave them on computer? I'm befuddled WRPQ991
Okay, so you can use the pi, as described above… or… use a program called “Putty,” which when using another computer acts like it (the mouse, keyboard and monitor) are all connected.
So, the steps above are using a program called Putty. If you need any help just give me a hollar and I can call you… or you can email me at wrzp715 @ gmail
Are you the same Kurvy on 1195?
That’s me! Always listening
I burned the image to different micro sd cards and tried in a few different raspberry pi's but all I get is the rainbow screen at boot. I get other operating systems to load fine on the same sd cards and pi's. do you have any idea whats going on?
What type of card did you use? It seems like it is the program you are using to write the image or the SD Card.
Sounds like the pi’s boot loader is confused
Kurvy, when are the Motorola NAS tutorials starting?
Very soon.. may be on private
I'd like a tutorial too

Is it possible to make it ware it works with all gmrs nodes like gmrs live,my gmrs, texas gmrs network
@@robertwalker7945 yes and no. You can have multiple systems but you have to have a very high level of skills. Ie- build sd card with four partitions , running several VMware images. You can however have 1 radio and multiple “virtual nodes,” This is a very hard question to answer without telling me exactly what you are looking to do.
You could also “swap” memory cards. 1 pi with 3 images. Hollar for me on 1195.
