Hey James, off topic ,but have you ever visited the Azores? Just got back and you would not believe what grows there. Tropical vegetation that shouldn’t grow (and thrive) that far north!
Unboxed mine new growth on the Washy was lime green , the sun made them droopy and they died off , 1 larger spear went mushy also and just pulled it out , the smaller spear i pulled out just today same brown mushy texture . I put some hydrogen peroxide inside the hole than dried it will a paper towel 20 min after rolled like a straw. Will it live? What the hell happened? It seemed to be alive at the unboxing time 2 weeks ago.
What do you believe is the most cold hardy palm? I’m in south western Ontario and want to plant one outside this year. Thanks for the informative videos, keep them coming!!
I have a few Washingtonia Robustas in pots… I just brought them outside last week but it says it’s gonna get down to -2° do I need to bring them in? They’re super heavy pots that need 2 people to move.

No actually I have never been there. I’ve had some friends go they tell me it’s gorgeous.
