Everything looking great for another great year of growing. For combination planting, I have golden cypress with background banana trees. So, much rain here in Louisville, Kentucky.
Why not plant a Mexican blue palm ( Brahea Armata ) and a Chilean wine palm ( Jubaea chilensis )? Both are hardier than Washingtonias and are great looking palms.
Everything looks nice! My 3 out of 8 Trachys have a lot of dry fronds after this winter. One of those 3 started with new fronds, but the other 2 have few green fronds, but nothing happens. 🫤 How can I help them?
repot your Christmas in bark/charcoal/perlite and it can look like your prairie palm brother's triple 😉🥰
Looking great as usual
The big Mexican fan palm looks good
Looks like the perfect day, very inviting pool. Everything looks great.
I want to plant some now

Looking good. Will you have to cover them every winter or will they ever be able to survive without being covered?
For information, Trachys fold their fronds when they have too little water. Windmill palms like a lot of water. You can't give them too much.
Ok thanks

If you can send palms to the states. I can take some off your hands?
LOL you need to mow the lawn. What zone are you in?
lol yeah you’re right about that. I’m in zone 6
Why not plant some date palms?
Harder to zone push in somewhere like Ontario. Not quite as cold hardy and likes hotter offer drier summers
Everything looks nice!
