I think a housing crash will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.
I suggest you offset your real estate and get into stocks, A recession as bad it can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too. As far as I know, there are at least a couple of universities with labs that specialize in pre-testing (read: modeling) actual dam (and generally water flow related) project designs by building large scale model versions (similar to CG's excellent build). @@Tran-Chien By searching CZcams videos for "generating electricity with a mini damn" or a similar variation, it appears others have experimented with doing so. I think it would be pretty cool if you tried doing so yourself and made an update. If not, quality content regardless, just thought I would make a suggestion.
No it wasnt, his foundation that massive dam was built on top of was soil, if that was an actual full scale dam on a constant flowing body of water like a river it would collapse on itself for not having the proper foundation. Just because it looks nice and cool doesn't mean its done right. The foundation should have been layed with a water resistant and level layer of concrete before constructing the dam itself.
Theres a little stream back behind my house. And all my life i've always been fascinated by dams. If i were to build something like this, how would i be able to generate electricity from it, and just what materials would i need?
Yeah it is a best idea to do it and using water generator behind your home will help you save money or use the energy to light up your backyard lights without using any from your house
My dad is a civil engineer and spent the majority of his career working as the army Corp of engineers number 1 guy in the country for his expertise in dam building. When he retired he started his own firm and is well-known throughout the world for the work he does, he's worked all over the world for many different countries. I'm going to show him this video I just stumbled upon and I know he will love it! This is really cool, good work ✌️
Awesome project! Now you must generate enough electricity with it to pump the water back to the pond and make it an infinite loop :D Ah just noticed you have more recent videos with hydroelectric dams, i'll make sure to check them out!
that's not possible, there will be loss of energy during the flowing of water and during the movement of the dynamos (2nd law of thermodynamics), so you will always end up with less energy than what you had before. He can try solar panels tho.
I can't describe how disappointed I felt when the video ended. After all the terrible recommendations from YT, this was an incredible breath of fresh air. Thật tuyệt vời. Sự khéo léo của chú đã tạo ra sản phẩm rất là đẹp, để mọi người hình dung được vận hành một con đập ngăn nước phục vụ tưới tiêu và phát điện.

I always dreamed about building miniature dams, irrigation canals in our home in the province when I was a kid. Thank you for reminding me about my childhood.

Wow, I've seen grown men play with trains but never dams. Amazing work.
Thank you for your suggestions!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I could picture myself standing on the walkway and take pictures of the dam :)
Thanks for your support! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Upon clicking on this video, i had assumed you would be generating electricity through your mini Dam (which i thought, and still think would be awesome to try to do, considering you took it this far) but nonetheless, still extremely impressive and awesome video with what you got) thanks for sharing
I wish!
@@Tran-Chien By searching CZcams videos for "generating electricity with a mini damn" or a similar variation, it appears others have experimented with doing so. I think it would be pretty cool if you tried doing so yourself and made an update. If not, quality content regardless, just thought I would make a suggestion.

This is exactly what I imagined when I used to make little dams out of sticks, rocks, and mud when I was a kid

Как же интересно смотреть за этим мини-строительством...😎👍
Imagine we build this in world of Liliput in Gulliver Travel. That will be real life ultraman stage show

Wow nice job, even in small scale it takes such effort, now imagine building those big dams…

When this man has grandchildren he will teach them how to make mini dams
Yes, Thank you ! Please subscribe to my channel and help me share ❤❤❤❤❤❤️😊
That’s an awesome skilled mason right there, such a nicely made dam.
Thanks 😊 ☺️😊😊😀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
No it wasnt, his foundation that massive dam was built on top of was soil, if that was an actual full scale dam on a constant flowing body of water like a river it would collapse on itself for not having the proper foundation. Just because it looks nice and cool doesn't mean its done right. The foundation should have been layed with a water resistant and level layer of concrete before constructing the dam itself.
That’s a really cool project for a professional builder to be added onto his portfolio!👍🔥🔥
Thanks 😊 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️👋👋
Yes that is cool project ❤️❤️

This was fantastic!! Watched it all! Wonder if this would hold up in a moving creek? I would love to try it. Thank you for sharing!! Cheers from USA

That looked very fun to build. Great work.
Thank you for your suggestions!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Theres a little stream back behind my house. And all my life i've always been fascinated by dams. If i were to build something like this, how would i be able to generate electricity from it, and just what materials would i need?
Give it a shot
And heres a reference on how it could be put together czcams.com/video/5rcQLIhnRXQ/video.html

Wow
Yeah it is a best idea to do it and using water generator behind your home will help you save money or use the energy to light up your backyard lights without using any from your house
An inspiring piece of work! Good job!
Thanks 😊 😊😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
I can't believe Harrison Ford JUMPED off that thing and survived!
Thanks a lot 😊
I’m convinced anything smaller is more interesting.
Yes, Thank you very much ❤️❤️❤️
My dad is a civil engineer and spent the majority of his career working as the army Corp of engineers number 1 guy in the country for his expertise in dam building. When he retired he started his own firm and is well-known throughout the world for the work he does, he's worked all over the world for many different countries. I'm going to show him this video I just stumbled upon and I know he will love it! This is really cool, good work ✌️

Nothing personal I’m guilty of it myself but I doubt many commenters care about your dad they want your comments on this project.✌️
Woww. Que miniatura tan bien construida, y linda. Felicitaciones👏🏻👏🏻

すごい…ただただそうとしか言えません。恐らく投稿者は建築に携わっている人だと思いますが、ミニチュアで精巧なダムを造れるのはとても素晴らしいことだと思います。とても感動しました。

Awesome project! Now you must generate enough electricity with it to pump the water back to the pond and make it an infinite loop :D Ah just noticed you have more recent videos with hydroelectric dams, i'll make sure to check them out!
Thanks 😊 😊😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
Это гидроаккумулирующая станция.
no you cant, law of thermodynamics wont allow you
I was thinking the same use 2 or 3 dynamo generators from a bicycle and charge a battery to have the flood gates open automatically and transfer water
that's not possible, there will be loss of energy during the flowing of water and during the movement of the dynamos (2nd law of thermodynamics), so you will always end up with less energy than what you had before. He can try solar panels tho.
I can't describe how disappointed I felt when the video ended. After all the terrible recommendations from YT, this was an incredible breath of fresh air. All of it, from the reservoir dig to the first rush of water through the sluices, was enthralling. Thanks for taking the time to show us your interest, I'm subbed and off to watch more. Best part of 2022 so far, thank you from Canada.
