That is a really good idea. I just bought a Pit Boss 850. I have a big and portable Asmoke smoker. Also have a 3 Burner Camp Chef Griddle. I really Love the Pit Boss. Stays right on the temp you set it at. That is a Hell of a ideas

Oh Ye I’m getting one so I think you did good considering what all you get for the price I don’t think you’ll go wrong I seen the reviews it was mainly about damage and missing stuff that’s it that I see and like you said you can smoke grill and griddle and also you can use it as grill on pellet side
They have used it a few times and my mom said it is working great

I really need to get a pellet grill, i like all the different types of pellets available. I've used the same the same smoker for years and it's ok just that the pellet grill is making more and more sense, less hassle. Let us know how your mom likes it, that's one cool grill. Take care brother.
Yep I started on pellet grills about 10 years ago and haven’t owned anything else since. She said she has used the grill part and works perfectly

Awesome Grill you got your parents Larry. I am in the process of getting a Blackstone because I just love to griddle cook.
And about that griddle, not sure for this Pit Boss, but can't you just put it on there and turn them burners on high and use the proper seasoning oil and season it that way?? I'm pretty sure you can, and it will take a good 3-5 coats during that process, but it should work well and only take about an hour, hour and a half tops.
That’s what I thought too but my mom went online and the company recommended coating with oil and putting in oven.
