I don't know why people don't talk about basic things of a phone. Like call quality, call audio quality, mobile data speeds, network catching ability in elevators, garages, mountains, problems like hanging, restarts kinda stuff. I don't know who wants to know adreno graphics if they are buying a phone for 300$
I'm with you on that. I'm older & from a different century & time. My 1st & only smartphone I HAD to buy, to compensate for the planned obsolescence of earlier cell phone systems, is in its final death throes. I bought an "N10" because of its; high "Consumer Reports" rating; battery performance; loud audio; & the price. This techno-babble does nothing for me, since I have no idea what he's talking about. Kind regards :-) .
Yes I like to hear reviews after people use the phone for a lil bit. Unboxing reviews are really pointless. Just specs

The reviews did give me some help with the setup. but I went to a 5⭐ rated wireless co. who gave me a ton of help for free, downloading all my info from my old & dying "Flintstones" phone, etc. I was just there this morning, when things are slow, for a finishing touch. My setup Odyssey began 11 days ago, & I've gotten a lot more comfortable with the "N10." Every time I'm faced with new technology though, it's very traumatic for me. I just don't have a working basis that younger people have, who grew up with all this tech stuff. What do they care? Even if they'd break something, Mom & Dad would buy them a new one. Kind regards !

It took 2 guys 4 tries to get all the data downloaded from my old dying "Android 5" phone to the new "1+ N10," but I'm VERY satisfied, after I got over the initial learning curve / growing pains! :-) . I love this phone, I use it as my secondary phone. The only thing im not that into is the backside of the phone, though beautiful it scratches reeeeally easily. So this is one of those phones you need to keep in a case if you want it to stay pristine.
Ehh a case won't stop the back from getting scuffed up. The plastic is actually really soft a will scratch with just dust build up

Think I will get one and sell my s20+ 5g. I'm not a fan of expensive phones anymore and don't use 70% of the things a phone can. So a cheaper phone is more me now 😊👍

Good video! Im actually quote "downgrading" from a Galaxy S10e because of horrible battery life and honestly it's been quite an enjoyable device. With forced 90hz on everything and GCam slapped on I dont even miss my S10e's camera or Amoled screen. Yes some things I think could be better for 300 bucks and for 50 more dollars you can get the Pixel 4a with Amoled and beast camera, but I honestly need a device that gets me through the day without needing 3-4 charges mid day...
Yo, tell me about it. I like my S10e but honestly I am disappointed with the battery life and also the cameras (struggles with human skin tones and low-light).

Thx for the video. I just purchased the N10 5G without really doing proper research. On a T-Mobile Unlimited family plan with insurance. $33 walk out, $22 a mth. I was paying $100 mth , Note20 Ultra AT&T and $132 mth, MotoZ4 Verizon
It's 140$$ at Wal-Mart with sprint with a T-Mobile sim
Metro by T-Mobile is like 40 a month all unlimited 5G data.

I feel this is one of the best budget phones out there, only downside is the 1 major update instead of the usual 2. I feel Oneplus should have given this phone more love since its their first budget phone. I feel it would have made their base even bigger

I have the phone currently and I love it, my only issue is the speakers specially with Google duo the speaker at the bottom doesn't work at all thought the Google duo calls do you have any suggestions? Let me also mentioned that I had another phone of the same and I went to the store to switch it for the same reason but this issue might be the duo app
What's app, messenger, and possibly Viber work fine
Love this phone. Went from an IPhone SE to the N10. The speed is awesome. I can't say enough about the camera. Fantastic! This phone is like a Galaxy S10 in my opinion. So many features!
What did you like in N10 over the iPhone SE? I am gonna buy one in a few weeks of time hopefully.

The display is much better and brighter. Side by side the N10 is way better. The Nord is feature rich! I still haven't gone through all of them yet. I didn't think the camera quality was going to come close to the SE but it surpassed it. The N10 is one sweet phone! You don't have to deal with Apple's ridiculous security. Face recognition works better on the Nord than any phone I've seen.

Great review and very thorough. I'm not a fan of the large microphone in front of you when we see you speaking. Maybe a lapel mic or something that would be less intrusive?

Do you think this phone is a decent upgrade for a couple of people who have a Samsung 10e and don’t use a 5th of that phone features? I’m taking a mid 40s and 70 year old.
S10e or A10e? If you have the s10e, than no. This phone isnt good upgrade. the s10e is still good, or better than this phone. But if you have the A10e, than this is a significant upgrade

4210 mhA Battery. 4300 mhA is the typical capacity. its design capacity is 4210 mhA. The battery life starting off is really decent but will degrade rather quickly within a year especially if you use your n10 a lot for navigation in the heat *this puppy likes to get hot and will complain when it does* I have this phone and have used it for nearly almost a whole year and it continues to to perform like new aside from the battery. Also rootng this bad boy won't net you much unless you run a custom rom as oxygenOS is pretty decent.

I love my phone my daughter got me one on mother day bless her heart.
I've had this phone about a month now, and it is working out fine for me. I'm not a gamer, so can't judge it from that aspect. A couple of nits: the flashlight is not bright enough and I don't see any way to change the brightness. When recording music on video, the vocal is captured loud but the instrument is not loud enough - this was not an issue on my prior Android cell phone.
Try open camera. it has plenty of adjustments for recording. as for the flash light that is just the way it is. Gaming wise it does pretty good but can get pretty slow graphically when the game demands too much (genshin Impact runs pretty well but results in the phone complaining of overheating). Casual games *clickers and the like* will run very well.

I use VLC player from the Google Play Store. Track titles, Albums, Artists. Equalizer settings. Can create and label your own Playlists. For movies, I use XPlayer as I often put DVD files on SD card. Enjoy!

I just figured this product is getting heated fast as compared to Nord. Be careful if you have a plan to buy.

Im between getting this or the moto ace 5g. Which one would you say is better? Id like a phone that will run dolphin emulater. I now have the lg g6 and it sucks lol
Moto Ace 5G is better than N10 for gaming. I’d also recommend checking out Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, it’s coming out this week. If you don’t want to wait for the Samsung phone, Ace 5G is a great pick!

It would be helpful if you would emphasize to your audience that although this phone has dual speakers it does not have true stereo separation so you're basically just getting dual mono speakers

Hi! Will it make sense to upgrade from OnePlus 3T?
In many ways it wouldn’t be a big upgrade. I highly recommend waiting for the OnePlus 9 series that is coming soon this month.
In my opinion, Nord N10 would make a great, affordable upgrade if you're coming from a OnePlus 3T. Kevin recommends waiting for OnePlus 9, but that's going to cost three times as much as the Nord N10.

The Oneplus Nord N10 only allows you to share the calendar events to an email, not to a phone number. The option is not available.

Great review. The most desapointing fact is that it only will get one mayor android upgrade. So the most am going to have it is for 2 yrs.

should compare this to the Moto G 5G... similar in many ways. Moto G 5G is the only one I can find with dual frequency GPS... I use Googlemaps for a living, so it matters.
the N10 should support it to. I run maps and waze and neither seem to have any issues gps wise and the gps gets a lock on satellites very quickly (I have all other location settings off no wifi/bluetooth scanning no google location shenanigans and no carrier location shenannigans. I had a Moto 5G loved it till it took a dive in the toilet one sick afternoon -_-
So conflicted between this and the 4a, I love to game on my phone but the 4a seems amazing
I was gonna get the 4a but t mobile was out of stock and I couldn't wait. Got the one plus and I'm happy with it. I don't think you will be disappointed either way
You won't regret the n10 I bought my brother one it has a gaming hub built in to help run games the best possible it doesn't throttle or run hot at least he hasn't managed to make it do that I myself bought a red magic 6 pro and it's something else but they do compare I used his phone for a bit and honestly it didn't feel like it's tons slower but the n10 flash light sucks 😂 the camera is fairly impressive depending on what mp your used to
Why not go for the pixel 5A 5G?
I just got this as a replacement for my smashed Pixel 4. Honestly, I prefer it. With the GCam installed, I only paid £150 total and I'm loving everything so far.

I'm definitely leaning towards this particular phone.
My nord n10 sometimes buffers without playing anything when I play a music file. And sometimes when I play a video file(including CZcams video), no sound comes for the first 10-15 seconds, and the video too is buffered and jittery. It goes away after about 15 seconds. Any idea how to fix this?
Factory reset your phone 😊 or it sounds like a app fault.

before attempting to do a factory reset reboot to the recovery menu and wipe CACHE nothing else then when you get back into android un-install any app that is causing the issue and re download them. Also try useing wifi your area might have week signal

@@mojosash Dash/WARP is oneplus equivalent to qualcomm fast charge/usb PD which btw generally will only use 27 watts at max on this phone. and the battery IS NOT that large.

Im having problems with this phone where it says liquid or debris alert in my charging port... But im no where near any liquid or dust... Help
Type c ports have this issue in general. Using a toothpick/dental pick flosser can help loosen up any lint and dirt stopping the charger from seating in all the way.Just be sure to be gentle.

I want to get this phone for my mother since her 6t is giving her issues, I just hope it's not a downgrade from what she has.
It's not a complete downgrade but I wouldn't recommend this as an upgrade to 6T. OnePlus 9 or even Galaxy A52 would be a better upgrade imo.

Oh yea and take pictures but from your video I can tell the camera on this phone is good enough for her since she's not really into photography like other people. it will run just fine just don't play it too long at a time as the phone will get pretty warm (GPS plus a graphically intensive game)
the haptics are bad because they used a shitty vibration motor with bad tuning, not because of the plastic build. we all know thats not the case if u build it well .

I am ready to chuck this thing away in the recycle bin for no matter what I do, I cannot receive texts. I can send text however, but a half functioning app doesn"t make this acceptable. Time to go back to using Motorola.
The only reason I'm getting this one is because of the processor/GPU.

I've had this phone for about 8 months, and my two biggest issues are the camera, it sucks imo and I really dislike how fragile the screen is. It would be a great phone as opposed to good if those two things were better.
1st Canadian! I'm rocking the Nord N10 5G. OnePlus had a great presale in Canada, so I thought what the heck let's give Oxygen OS a try. Switched over from Xiaomi Mi A2.
Fingerprint scanner does work less than stellar! I turned on the double touch to wake, and then facial recognition turns the device on.
For the price you can't really complain for what you get. I literally got mine for the 5G and it's so fast.
After 3 months the phone started getting really hot when downloading updates or playing games through the Google play store.. I don't recommend this phone.

@@harvyharvy5147 yes, Garvey, but it still did it. Luckily I had warranty on the phone and exchanged it for a new one. Problem solved.
getting hot while playing games is normal as for downloading i haven't ever had an issue with that and I have used my phone for tethering a lot and it still does not get above room temprature.
I do not recommend this phone to anybody. I used this for 1 month .
Have you had the same issues I've had for the past month where you're trying to text in the app unexpectedly closes and opens up another app? Shit phone if it can't even text why buy it 🤣

This phone is the worst phone ever. I still have yet to get a decent working phone. The first one immediately upon turning it on. The screen was messed up. Then. The next one. The battery took forever to charge and would die super fast. Then the 3rd one. The stupid thing overheats constantly. Watching Netflix. Overheats. Use my hot spot. Over heats. Honestly I'm over it. It would be a good phone if it wasn't such a piece of garbage with every new replacement I get. I find it hard to believe it's just a bad luck or coincidental thing

What's wrong with an IPS screen there are pretty decent ones now days (Which your fancy tv might even have and also your computer monitor) its the cheap ones you need to watch out for. the one in the nord N10 is of decent quality.
This phone is pure crap. I am sorry i bought it. It keeps disconnecting calls and the phone is set up like shit. I have had it for two hours and am going back to my old phone. This one in the 4 hours i have had it has rebooted four times.
rebooting could be a software issue not necessarily a fault of the phone. signal wise man that is your area.....
