@@Ruledbyhounds , I had a Beagle and when she got to 10yo I had to get her some steps to get up on my bed. We both missed our walks that I called 'sniff adventures ' she's a Beagle I would say!! I let her nose do it's thing. And for 11 years she was a happy Beagle. I miss that Beagle sooooooo much!! She was my bestest buddy!!
It sounds like you had a wonderful companion, I'm sorry for your loss! All the beagles I've worked with in my life have been such silly characters. When I take my boys on their walk they are definitely sniff adventures too, I don't care if they are roaming and pulling and pushing they are happy, plus the walk is for them!
why don't you just get her a little stair?
He has probably four around the house now for various places, he just always wants up right between us where we don’t have one when we are using the couch because we don’t want to trip over it 😉
