    At the same time, I also absolutely can't stand it when anyone (gay, straight, male, female, or otherwise) talks in that distinctive, extremely camp voice. I feel like much of the time it's just an affectation or posturing. I've known too many LGBT people who've not felt the need to dive so hard into being camp to feel otherwise, or to feel that this aversion is due to any underlying prejudice on my part. I don't expect my parents to respect my autonomy and identity as an adult sexual being if I don't respect them enough not to change my entire personality in order to be accepted by the objects of my attraction.
      My step-grandma always called my grandpa "daddy" around us as kids like it was his nickname or something. But she had a very fake baby voice to boot. It weirded me the eff out. I understand that submissive language is a huge part of adult sexual interactions but I don't need be reminded of who's spanking who everytime someone shouts "breakfast is ready daddy".
      If you have to adopt the role of sexual submissive in your normative speech patterns you might be reflecting more about what it took to get your parents love than reflecting something negative about your sexual preference.

      The difference in Louis' framing of this bit is that Morgan wasn't talking about something he didn't know. He was talking about his son changing a fundamental part of himself in order to gain acceptance in that group.
      If the group your kid is hanging out with only let's them hang out if they agree to crouch while they walk so they are never any taller than any other member you better pick them up by the back of the neck, look them in the eye and set them back down tall to remember what feels like to be loved as you stand and not crippling yourself for the chance at it.

    Omg I hate that comedians ever have to apologize for a joke they do during a fucking standup. Comedy is subjective but it’s not literal.

      lol you don’t know the first thing. He was on 30 Rock at the time and went on to complete the show. He didn’t get cancelled from anything! He then had a near fatal car crash, that’s why he wasn’t seen for a while.

    Why are people offended that he would stab him in the throat? Is there another body part that is ok to stab and not be offensive?

    It's a funny fucking joke and it represents how most fathers feel about their sons if they were gay.
    I have a friend who is a prison guard. His daughter came out as gay and he said "honey, I will always love you and you being gay will never change that, all I ask is that you don't turn into one of those obese masculine lesbians"

  • @davidsauer9769
    @davidsauer9769 Před rokem

    Idk what the issue is he was literally saying gay people are normal, doing the weird shit where you change your voice and start acting entirely differently because of your sexual orientation then you're the prejudice one, understandable sentiment to all
