You have to do the work after you stop taking it (i.e. cardio, calorie intake, low carbs, etc…) You just can’t continue with the same bad habits and expect to keep the weight off.
Exactly! I’ve been taking it for two months, lost 20 lbs so far. But I’m exercising and trying to eat cleaner, I just want to get to a healthy weight then I’m getting off it, I’m not sure what will happen but until then I will try to learn as much as possible from all the available tools
I think most of them wouldn't nee dit in the first place if they could just eat healthy and exercise.
@@Cadenza93maybe give ozempic to the people who will die without it instead of being selfish?
@@Bejaphone Noone will die without Ozempic child...but how is it selfish for her to want to be healthy and avoid diabetes? yet you feel its ok for diabetics to take meds and not simply eat healthy/reduce carbs/weight equally...hypocrite
Yes, but slight correction, you have to do the work while on it to train yourself so when you get off it you don't gain the weight back
If she gained double the weight that means she ate double the food smh.
Ikr
Taking Ozempic not only reduces fat but also muscle. Therefore, if you stop taking the medicine and maintain the same eating habits as before, your basal metabolic rate will decrease, potentially leading to greater weight gain than before.
@20cmusic when you are on it, your eating habits are lower than a normal person, or at least the should be that's what shot does. If you're forcing yourself to eat regular portions or more than regular potions. Then yea, that's a problem. the correct way of saying it is returning to your previous eating habits from before. Not keeping the same ones.
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard so it doesn't work if you are off of it? Of course not because you aren't on it .
@20cmusic 1lb of muscle is equivalent to 7 to 10 calories per day, whilst fat burns 2-3 calories per day per lb.
If you lose say 10lbs on Ozempic, it would be expected that you might lose maybe 2lbs of muscle to 8 lbs of fat.
If you return to eating a crap diet and not training, you will of course generate fat back, but twice as much? That's going to take longer to gain back what you had and to gain back twice as much, your diet is probably worse than it was before!
The leading cause of loose skin: WEIGHTLOSS!!!
No shit
@@youtube.silenced.myup precisely...
@@AmieDeLalla think you missed that my comment was in reference to him acting like ozempic is the cause but everyone lost weight cause of ozempic they didn't stay fat and suddenly have loose skin...
For real. People think it will not happen lol
Actually the cause of the loose skin was the WEIGHT GAIN PRIOR TO THE WEIGHT LOSS!!!!
You gotta take advantage of the drug while on it to change your eating and exercise habits.
Very true! I plan to stop once I get to a healthy weight, so I’m trying my best to learn and change all those bad habits in the meantime
Exercise is really helpful to limit weight regain.
Exactly!!! I keep seeing CZcamsrs saying that they don’t mind losing the weight slowly and are eating what they want…only less of it. That will not work because when they come off the medication and that hunger comes back they will no longer be able to eat less…..
I'd rather have loose skin than diabetes and other health issues.
💯
Sure………
@@greatvaluebleach1 great argument.
Yes i agree. Ppl care more about their appearance than health. Who cares about loose skin if you’ve drastically improved your health and quality of life
True but my biggest fear of weight loss is loose skin. I almost would rather be plump than have loose skin.
Why call it ozempic face when it happens with all fast weightloss...
That was a term a doctor called it
Now taking a drug formulated specifically for diabetes, even though one effect is fat loss, what happens to a non diabetic's natural insulin production with long term use.
@@juststop94it gets fked up. like if you take trt drugs.
Kanohane ... no, not necessarily. With Proper fasting, food, and exercise, sagging skin can be minimized or eliminated. Doctors (AKA: drug pushers) don't want people to know this.
@RealEstateInsider247 I'm aware of that, but the point is, its not an "Ozempic" thing to be concerned about...and doctors are not "pill pushers" they do homeopathic care all the time...I'm a nurse...yall gotta stop falsely labelling us as uneducated and unversed in all aspects of health promotion...
sagging skin happens with all fat loss, no matter the method.
***edit- can happen with all forms of fat loss no matter the method. And yes...even IF. Years ago, I heard it called the Bypass Face. People are always gonna tag stuff.
Leading cause is actually dehydration.. I’ve witnessed many larger folk go on a water fast..drop the fat, with No hanging skin. Mind you, it was a strict water fast.
@@mobutter2879 not the case for me. I drink 80-100 oz water everyday. I've lost 90 lbs and still have lose skin.
I think age plays a big role too. My skin don't have the elasticity at 46 it had at 26.
Not true. Fasting significantly and sometimes eliminates the problem of loose skin associated with weight loss. When I say fasting I mean fasting for several weeks(no food/only water/electrolytes/vitamins).
@@isailevilopez5134 ok, realistic and sustainable fat loss then. It takes skin a minute to bounce back after volume (fat) loss, especially when the fat loss happens quick. I have lost large amounts of weight twice and had sagging skin both times. After a while, it improved. But it was still an issue, as it is with most ppl who drop large numbers.
Skin doesn't tighten on its own for most people. It's best to loose weight slowly while exercizing your muscles
Yea that’s cause she wasn’t eating a calorie deficit and eating clean. You can’t just pig out when you get off the medication. The medicine is supposed to help you while you build good habits so when it’s time to go off you can maintain your weight loss. As someone with pcos once I work out 6 days a week. I do low impact movement like walking, Pilates, and biking and I do weights 3-4 times a week. Im eating 1300 calories and plan to continue doing so long after I get off tierzepitide.
Wha did the clip have to do with the topic ?
But does it work when you get off of it...and you have changed your diet and exercise and continue that change ...not reverting back to the same Ole same Ole horrible diet/no exercise than before? (Should add was being sarcastic)
My doctor says yes. The main reason people gain it back is because idiots don't change their lifestyle. However, I have ptosis due to rapid weight loss though according to this that aspect is temporary. I hope so because I feel so ugly.
@michelle thiesen I was being sarcastic in my comment on that. sorry if it didn't convey well in text. Hopefully, your weight loss journey will get to where you want it to be soon :). I developed pcos with insulin resistance and finally got a doctor to actually treat the underlying issues. Low carb lifestyle helps and so far have lost over 55 lbs. Started on Metformin now on very low dose ozempic. It's not a magic pill, but it does regulate the hormones and such to where diet and exercise are effective (not sure how it works for someone without insulin resistance, though)
I assume they just don't eat because they don't have an appetite and don't work on their diet/nutrition...so of course when the hunger comes back they haven't perfected a diet that keep them full/satisfied. They squander the opportunity.
Hey guys, I’m currently on ozempic, had to stop for a few weeks cause of the high copay, and yes, hunger comes back! So use it as a tool, not a solution
This is what I told my mom stay active weight train 4-5 days walk to limit the lose skin effect when you lose weight rapidly she is actually a diabetic and warned her to make it a lifestyle and change your eating habits or you will rebound like having a ed like I did . And you also put so much work in it why gain it back you make the choice in what you eat and do . We only have one body take care of it .
“I gain double the weight back”.. ORR…
PUT THE FORK DOWN
Loosened skin DOESN'T TIGHTEN back up on it's own💥🤯💥
Only a tad over years
Of course it does 😂
I have read the weight lose is muscle loss not fat. Very dangerous side effect not talked about.
Are people are aware that they need workout too? Like weight lifting, pilates etc helps to tone up while losing weight so you're not left with loose skin
Exactly!
I work out more than most people I know, but if I eat like trash, I gain weight.
It depends on the amount of weight a person looses. If you have a massive amount of weight to lose your going to have excess skin, regardless of how much you workout.
@@ok9ok3ok6ok exercise is only about 20% of weight loss where as diet controls about 80% of weight loss.
This is very true. A side effect is muscle loss, because they drop too many calories out the diet and don't exercise.
Also higher rate of muscle loss too. Don't forget to mention that. Muscle is harder to get back as we age.
Best comment.
Ozempic is meant to treat diabetes. Weight loss is the side effect.
When on it my doc told me to eat 100g of protein per day and stay super hydrated 🥩💧
She gained it back because she did not try after
I agree it’s a lifestyle and you have a choice to keep your only body healthy .
Exactly! She learned nothing about eating healthy and calorie intake
Wegovy makes you not hungry. It makes you not have those random cravings after already being full from a normal meal…you just don’t feel it. You feel fine. So with that being said, if you’re OFF wegovy of course you won’t have that “I don’t feel hungry, I feel fine” feeling from the drug. It’s not wegovys fault. I’m not necessarily saying it’s her fault either it’s just…if you’re gonna get off wegovy after successfully losing the weight from less calorie intake, it would be wise to utilize that jumpstart you had and try your best to keep the weight off. It’s just what it is.
She wasn’t trying while she was on it either. She was relying on a drug. Of course it’s going to come back.
She was most likely still eating bad even on it. It isn't a magic cure for fat loss it just suppresses hunger. Look worse on her doing that interview
Rapid fat loss in general causes loose skin. It's not specific to Ozempic.
Thank you! People are so dumb
You gain the weight back because you didn’t use the medication to change your habits 😢
LMFAOOOOO
Exactly! It’s a tool, not a solution
Yeah but for example with me I have had a toxic relationship with food for many years and I’m just always hungry, I take wegovy medicine to regulate the appetite and it helps so much for me to maintain the weight and not increasing it or decreasing it since I eat okay now when taking it, without it I eat a lot because I’m stressed and I kinda eat up my feelings so I can’t live without the medicine
For reals , she got off it and started eating even more McDonalds than before lol 😅. She had to keep eating healthier and working out . Which I doubt she did.
Thank you for explaining that in such a straightforward way, you’re a gem!
To all the people who say “I got off it and gained the weight back”: I have a friend who went on ozempic and lost 35 pounds in 5 months. They lost that weight and have kept it off because they had already changed their dieting habits and just used Ozempic as a way to get a head start. If you’re gaining all your weight back, it’s not a point against Ozempic, rather it shows that you were planning on using the medication as your only weight loss tool, when in reality, it’s nothing more than one of the many tools you need to actually look and live healthier.
And this happens to lots of people who lose weight in a variety of ways. Everything is personal responsibility.
My ex was taking Wegovy for about three months before we broke up (we're still cordial). It's been almost six months now since the breakup, and she posted a TikTok video of herself a few days ago.
She easily looks 5-7 years older. Crow's feet are more prominent, her skin has a pale hue to it, and the skin around her mouth and cheeks almost look droopy (like that cartoon character, Droopy Dog). Overall, her entire face looks like it's lost elasticity.
What I find absurd is there is absolutely nothing stopping her from eating healthier, exercising, and cutting back on alcohol. I tried my best to reason with her, but she simply did not want to put the work in.
She wanted a quick fix and, well, she got it.
Edit: to be clear, I’m not trying to throw shade on her. I read up on Wegovy, even talked to my dermatologist about it for her sake. I’m medically retired from the Marine Corps and have a surgically repaired right knee (MCL tear, broken leg) and a metal plate with eight screws in my right elbow. Every single day of my life hurts.
Despite this, at 40 I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since leaving active duty at 25. Track all my macros (very little processed foods), keep a daily log of exercises each day to ensure I’m staying the course, kickboxing, HIIT training, limit alcohol, etc. So, admittedly, I did find it pretty unattractive what little effort she put into her health.
Worst part is, all her friends are enablers who pretend you’re the best person ever to your face, only to talk bad behind your back. I wish just one of them would tell her to stop, but they won’t. It’s a shame
I have thyroid issues. I go from severe hyper to hypo and no one has freaking done anything to help me. I lost 170lbs in a year, 70lbs in the last three months before my thyroid went back to normal. I can’t help my forehead. My resting face is constant sad and concerned. I swear I sleep like that. Idk how people still would and will guess my exact age, usually a little younger, I’m 32. Losing weight so rapidly is not good in any way shape or form. I could have not starved myself and not worked out excessively, but it’s a rush. I just looked up side effects of this drug though…as someone who is extremely picky and lies about my meds, like I WILL NOT take atypical antipsychotics for my bipolar disorder they are a death sentence for the most part…I wouldn’t touch this with a ten foot pole as alluring as it is. I was given severely disordered eating due to the awful people I grew up with so that’s saying a lot. Thyroid cancer? My mother has thyroid cancer. Nope. And y’know what? People are going to seriously regret taking it if they end up having to get their thyroid removed. My mother said to me about total thyroid burnout, “it won’t matter how much you workout or how much you starve yourself, you won’t lose weight.” I am gaining weight off air right now and it’s genuinely scary. Well, and these few shots of vodka. Lost 80% of my beyond thick hair because of thyroid issues.
Topamax is something I had a psychiatrist prescribe me. It’s for migraines, mostly, but it also helps with seizures, bipolar disorder, and can be prescribed for weight loss. I swear it’s the reason I have osteoporosis, my entire body including my internal organs went numb my first year on it…I would still recommend it. I clearly do not mesh with it. What happened to me with the numbness isn’t something that is reported. The ER doc…”there are no hypochondriacs without anxiety,” and “I’ve seen hundreds of patients in psych on this and I have never seen this side effect.” Dear lord. The only reason I stayed on it is because of how doctors treated me. I lied to my psychiatrist. It’s a whole mess. But I was in absolutely debilitating pain to the point I couldn’t have a conversation from my endometriosis until the numbness wiped it out. I wish there were pain killers that work like that and are safe. It was magic. My gyno said, “what is the problem? Seems like a win, win to me.” At the same time it’s a scary thought that I could have had serious health issues and not know because I couldn’t feel…I shattered my fibula and tibia standing up and fractured a rib, like I said I believe it is Topamax that has caused osteoporosis…it’s an insane though that I maybe would not have been in pain. My leg was jello, so I would have know about that…my rib? I bet I wouldn’t have felt a thing. I shave my legs every time I shower, it took me like two weeks to be able to then…it was so freaky not being able to feel them. All that I could feel in the end was half my hands and most of my head. One of the freakiest side effects I’ve ever had from a med.
Unbeknownst to my doctors I’ve quit all my meds. The reason my father died was taking his life and he was unmedicated bipolar. I’m playing with fire. I do shots out of pill bottles, that’s my new prescription. THC and ethanol. 30+ less pills a day. I can’t be sober from alcohol. I do not do alright at all. It’s dangerous for me to not drink. I need to take a break again and I don’t know how due to my current circumstances. I’m worried if I stayed sober for a month I’d end up like my father at this point in my life.
Guessing my age almost always exactly right or being younger though…my best friend is brutally honest with me so I know people aren’t lying. When I lost all that weight the reason he would say I look awful is because I looked really sick and I was. It wasn’t due to the weight loss…I have so many health issues this could be 100000x longer…I looked like I was dying and I totally am. It was a mood. One more cigarette away from death vibe. I’ve been smoking over a decade too. Idk. The only things I can say is I drink tons of water and I’ve never worn makeup. And after like 13-ish I started, “working on my pale,” while sitting in bloody tanning salons multiple times a week with my mother. Nah, man. Alabaster white is so much better than the eight times and three different kinds of skin cancer my mother has had.
I feel like I just went off on a bunch of irrelevant stuff. Seriously, my bad.
@@Rattlsnke nah, don’t be! I’m a writer by trade, and always appreciate when people take the time to leave a thoughtful comment on social media. Haven’t read it yet (out with some friends) but promise I will.
@@1stMarDiv4341 Cheers. 🤍 Severe lack of sleep and vodka cause me to ramble. Usually not that bad though. Hope you had a nice time!
You gained double the weight back because you didn't change the mindset and the habits.
Reminds me of the medical term applied to women (and later disused) called “bicycle face.” Always good to know why these scary terms are coined and their purpose.
My wife doesn't gain weight but has a hard time losing weight because of her pcos. She gained her weight when she went for round two of being a surrogate and the couples embryos never took so all those hormone shots coupled with not getting pregnant did her dirty in the weight department. She has been hovering at around 190 for the last several years. On ozempic she is down over 25 pounds in 2.5 months.
Same with my wife, im gonna help her eat healthy more now an shes gonna work out with me, she wouldn't listen for a while but now we gonna do it together 😊 no need for fad diets or drugs
Loose skin happens in most cases, when you loose weight. Both naturally or even with bariatric.
This happens with any rapid weight lose element
You're more prone to this if you arent strength training
You need to workout whole on it. Also, you have to change all your eating habbits
Sounds like a normal weightloss thing, not an Ozempic problem.
My sister -in-law changed her diet and walked more and lost weight fast and her face had a lot of loose skin as if her face was melting. But in time the loose skin shrunk. She wanted to get a face lift but her Doctor told her to wait because you have to see how far your skin shrinks before you get any cosmetic surgery. The hard part is maintaining your new weight. You have to stick to your lifestyle changes and keep your exercise routine. Too often people fall back into old habits once they lose weight and all the work and weightloss was for nothing.
Loose skin "tightening back up" is also another misconception I see everywhere on the internet and it irritates me to hell, the reality is that NO, loose skin will not "tighten itself up" you can help reduce stretch marks and keep it more firm by using creams daily preferably as you are losing the weight but its simply bogus to say it will go back to how it was. The skin is an organ and once it has gone beyond a certain threshold it won't retract and will need to be removed surgically. Imagine a plastic bag that has been filled with groceries and stretched to the point where it looks like it could rip, when you take the groceries out does that plastic bag return to how it looked when you bought it? No and neither does your skin.
🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 U R sooo funny, where do you get this info?🙃🙃🙃🙃
Depending on the natural elasticity, skin won't necessarily just "tighten back up"
Yes tell this to my stomach after pregnancy. Lost the baby weight and it'll just never go back the skin.
These type of meds work. Her claim is her own. She probably oh... she didn't follow healthy eating and watching her weight and taking her diabetic meds. My a1c went from 11 to 6.6 and have lost weight when I had never lost much without the med. People need to use these meds as they do lower blood sugar and help by reducing weight.
Guys...its called Weight training and eat your protein and veggies!! 💪 and her gaining double the weight back means she didn't hone in on changing how she ate and include excercise. I'm on to month 7 of MJ....48.4lbs down went from 38% body fat to 26.77% at the end of March, my next scan is the end of June goal is close to 20%. I actually can see muscles I've never had.
When will big pharma be held accountable?
Does workout doing abs, weight lifting and maybe some calisthenics while taking ozempic could help with the loose skin?
True!
It's almost like the skin would've kept up with weight loss if done naturally
I've slowly lost 56lbs over the last 2 years, getting serious in the last 6mo. I already had the loose skin, probably because I'm 66yrs old and the elasticity is gone. I started on Zepbound 4 mos. ago. It definitely helps quiet the "food noise". I'll be up to the maximum dosage in June and have 25lbs to go to hit my goal, which I hope to do in the next 2 mos. I haven't gotten "Ozempic face" in fact I'm kind of surprised that I'm not showing weight loss in my face at all, but definitely have the "sag" in arms, belly and thighs since in the last 9 yrs I've lost 90lbs over all.
I can’t eat a thing without meds that make me hungry and my Dr Prescribed this for me because another medication I had to take make be gain a bunch of belly fat. I don’t have natural hunger. I have no idea how this will help me but I’ll take ozempic face over dying early.
Thank you for making it less scary.
That's why I am conscious of losing weight slowly but consistently. You must eat high protein and strength train to build muscle as you lose fat. This gives the skin the opportunity to adjust to the weight loss.
Is there anything to help that process, the skin tightening?
The reasons people take this drug are actually the negative side effects suffered by those taking it for it's actual purpose.
I don't get it. It is supposed to suppress your appetite, it doesn't directly burn fat but just stop making you from overeating. However, it seems as though people aren't eating nearly enough when they take it. How else are they losing so much weight?
Not necessarily suppress. It slows your digestive system down to make you feel fuller quicker and longer. You eat smaller portions but you’re still expected to have a healthy plate. It’s what weight loss surgery does but without the surgery.
This is with any sort of weight loss. If you do it the working out/diet way or using this drug.
Research the long term issues with ozempic, rapid muscle loss, rebound weight gain, ozempic face, testosterone reduction.. don’t touch it
You can say the same about any weight loss program
Very true
this drug is on tv and at the same time lawyers saying that there is a lawsuit for the same drug
Same thing ha-pens with the rapid weight loss experienced after weight loss surgery.
Diabetic and on Rybelsus. Seriously hate the focus on weight... Don't freak out over that number!
Losing muscle mass and being left with fatty, hanging skin makes me feel even more unattractive.
I'm ditching cardio to focus on strength training now. I'll give it time to see if proper toning can help mitigate the worst of the drooping skin. In the end, I'll learn to accept it or work overtime to afford surgical solutions.
For now, I'm just happy to have my A1C under 6.5. For me, it was about health and not appearance.
And for those using these medications for our vanity, please know that you are limiting my ability to manage my diabetes when I go days waiting for the pharmacy to get it back in stock. Thanks for increasing my risks for stroke, heart disease, amputations, blindness, neuropathy, and death. But at least you feel like you look better? Who cares about me financially supporting my disabled husband of 30 years or helping our 6 kids and 5 grandkids?
Loose skin doesn't always "tighten up".
But if you have it surgically removed you'll lose more weight, though elective surgery is not the best for one's health, but if you need surgery having loose skin can be problematic, someone may have to hold the loose skin away from surgical site.
But is it permanent?? Is that loose skin going to eventually tighten up around the face, and body??
im taking ozempic 1 mg for 2 weeks and .25,.50 for 2 weeks before that.i have geadaches and axiety...what to do
Who else here cause drake use this when he said Ross does
If loose skin is your concern then you're doing good.
Its a fair trade off for me….the skin tight around the fat or loose because the fats gone..yes loose skin for 100 chuck!
Risk comes with everything. I know some her in denmark who got it and they are feeling brilliant after loosing a lot of weirght
It’s the speed of the weight loss that causes sagging
The key to Wegovy and Ozempic is to take it in steps, then get off it, then get back on it, then balance between the two. I was 306lb back in April I’m 243lb as of today 08/18/23. In mid June I was unable to get a refill so I was off it from June to the end of July and got back on the first week of August. My weight loss looks natural, I have not hanging skin, or gaunt face, actually my face looks more vibrant and shiny. You also need to fast, and take vitamins to enhance your weight loss as well as work out or do some sort of activity to aid the weight loss. My regiment is OMAD (one meal a day) , take vitamins (E, D, K, and G) , drink lots of water and eat fruits now and then, and walk 2 miles a day. You’ll see your body begin to form and become less aggressively disproportioned from the fat loss, as the fat will be lost your muscles and dermis will bond more thoroughly. It works, but you also have to work with it.
ho does skin "tighten back up"? and if it were so, why do many get skin removal surgery?
My ozempic face went away. I got the fotona laser tightening treatments. I did 3. Then, I started using a retinoid, niacinimide, a moisturizer, and finally use sun screen. My skin looks fabulous. I look younger than when I started. I actually go make up free now. 40 and I finally bare my naked face to world. The first time since I was 15. I could see noticeable results in 2 months.
You go girl. Always wearing makeup hating our skin is no way to live
@proanimaluver6487 i was born with racoon eyes🤣🤣🤣. The struggle is real.
So what we are saying is that people need to be on this medication for life to maintain their weight loss? Because if they get off it they will definitely gain it back since they all say they tried everything before this medication. What will be the side effects of say taking this medication for 5 years, 10 years, 15 years? Does anybody know?
That's the reason that I'm drinking water, protein shakes and vitamin drinks. I'm a type 2 diabetic.
I don't have a lose skin.
Also if your constantly drinking cokes or eating a lot of sugar even when taking it doesn’t help. Even when I was on it, I stopped drinking regular cokes for 7 weeks now, and candy I’ve stayed away from and only have every now and then, but I was always a sweeth tooth. Also I stuck with interment fasting and portion control and stop eating after 7. And now at my job where I move I dropped and was able to move around more
I was on steroids for four years. I was 25 lbs overweight but when I got off the steroid I lost the weight but my skin is saggy. Ugh
Does it work by making fasting easy
2% chance of passing away according to the warning sheet .. 2 in 100
Take time to tighten back up? That’s what my doctor told me about the loose skin I had after childbirth…. Time does NOT tighten that shit back up!! Neither does an exercises etc…. In fact working out made my skin even looser!
I just quit ozempic...with insullin i wasn't losing any weight.i was 147 then i gained 20 when insulin was added...so i stopped ozempic
Ozempic face is a diabolical roast. 🔥
I started to take ozempic about 5 months ago for diabetes. I am on the highest dose (2mg) but my A1C is still very high and I haven’t lost any weight from it.
What would cause Ozempic not to work for me?
It's estimated 5% of people who try GLP-1 drugs will be resistant to the drug and not lose weight. It's just a medical phenomenon that can occur where your body does not respond to the ingredients in the injection.
As long I get healthy and get rid of my cholesterol and liver fat I can leave with that plus there are ways to correct this.
I’m not trying to be mean since I understand people can face a myriad of different health issues, but are people really that allergic to consistent exercise and not eating overly processed foods in excess?
The other side effect is we can’t tell who the people are with mental health issues as easily as when they were obese and behaving like any substance abuser/alcoholic. Now we’ll get sucked into their lives only to find out later.
What about the muscle loss?
you have to use the time when your weight is down and your appetite is controlled to develop an active lifestyle and healthier diet, and if you're an addict, you may have to stay on a monthly dose for life
People take weight loss medication and don't change their diet or exercise routine and then wonder why they either 1) aren't losing weight or 2) gained all the weight back and then some after getting off the medication. You have to change your ways and recognize why you got that big in the first place.
Yes you gotta exercise with it
She got skinny and saw the world as a buffet and thought food wasn’t the issue to her obesity the first time😂😂
The loose skin really will “tighten back up”? 🤔
That’s not an unwanted side effect , it’s literally the result of weight loss
People really need to learn about calories in vs calories out and how to track food and calories. The reason people gain so much back when they get off it is because their appetite is no longer curbed by the drug and they start eating like they was before.

@@ceninant when it comes to weight, loss and weight gain, calories is all that matters. I don’t understand how anyone can debate this.
WHAT weight loss doesn’t result in loose skin?
Just went off. It made me sick as a dog. Hardly lost any weight and AIC hardly went down. Discussed with my PCP and I went back on Trulicity. I was doing great with Trulicity but then got into a donut hole with my RX covg and it was cost me $240 per month. Couldn't do that. Got out of donut hole in Jan 2024 so I started back on Trulicity. We'll see how it goes.
There is no magic pill people
I've used ozempic for 3 and half months and only lost 9 pds. I must be doing something wrong.
Doctor i tried it! It was not fat loss it's aging... I know what i'm talking about!
I promise you if I lost all that weight I would not be gaining double the weight back.
In my case it caused me acne! I have pimples! And my doctor prescribed me this for my pre diabetes.
It will be interesting to see how many end up with thyroid, pancreas & kidney issues. People always looking for easy with no work involved.
Facial Magic face exercises will help tighten up that skin and fill out your face where it should be fuller.
Amber is so mean ☹️ Poor guy💔
Is true that people gain weight after stopping using it?
Many people use this drug as a quick-fix for weight loss without actually changing their lifestyle and habits. Yes, the weight comes back if you return to your previous eating habits. No, the weight won't come back if you continue maintaining the macros the GLP requires ( estimaited 100g protein, 35g fiber daily ) alongside exercise.
Loose skin is due to rapid weight loss. If you lose weight at a slower rate you most likely won’t have that issue.
She gained it back because the rapid rate at which she changed her body didn't allow her time to adjust her eating habits to support the work that should've come along with the weight loss. She conditioned her body, but not her mind. This is why they say don't take shortcuts in life, tsk tsk.
Whats next? 20 beers in one sitting wont keep me drunk forever!?? I thought this was America
Unless you’re young that skin isn’t going to just snap back
I was here for the slap jokes, youtube has failed me for the first time
You can’t go back cold turkey from ozempic. This is why you talk to your doctor 👨⚕️
You can't go back to burgers every night
@@VWorldWide you cant just leave an uneducated comment... Doctors wane you off the drug to prevent a relapse of cravings. you can either be an ass (Obviously you) or you can leave the topic alone for those who are struggling because they make rash decisions without consulting a doctor
