- Unboxing the Surface Pro 11 with its ultra-flexible 2-in-1 design - this 'Dune' colorway is stunning in person! Huge thanks to Microsoft for sending it over for me to check out. This Al-accelerated Copilot+ PC has a few big changes.
1. First, is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite or Plus processor.
2. There'saredesigned Flex Keyboard (separate purchase) which lets you use it wirelessly.
3. You now have the option for an OLED display.
That keyboard material looks like it would get dirty in about 23 minutes of usage. The gold color of the device itself though, gorgeous.
You should look it up the material, Alcantara, is pretty durable
@@GuyRobertKernisant I don't doubt it's durable, I just think it's going to attract all kinds of dirt. And unlike other use cases for it, like say a car seat, you can't easily spray down and wipe off a keyboard. Still skeptical to how well it'll hold up.
@@Cimlite It holds up for years as long as you wipe off skin oils. I've got an older Alcantara keyboard and it looks almost brand new after two years.

@@Cimlite mine is completely destroyed after 3-4 years, it doesn't resist much to the sweating of your resting palms during the summer, the sticking of the alcantara layer can also be alter with time... at the end the keyboard becomes repulsive to the eye, good luck trying to sell the 300$-€ keyboard on the second-hand market. (go check on these marketplace how the most-used and cheapest ones end up ^^)

Oddly, I really like the easy to replace micro SSD. After backing up all your data on the cloud, you can replace your default SSD with Western Digital Black SN770M (1TB version). 5200 read speeds and 4900 write speeds.

I do prefer macOS, but the Microsoft surface is SLEEK!!
Best colorway of all past surfaces imo. Pity they dont offer these in the top configuration

Just because you technically can paint a turd gold, doesn't mean that you should.
This cover design isn't appropriate for placing the tablet on the lap. This is the same problem I've seen people struggling with the Tab S9 Ultra. Also, it seems quite heavy considering its thickness and materials. I wonder if it wouldn't be better if Microsoft launched a Windows book instead of trying to put Windows inside the body of a "tablet".

@@dv2045 It'll be unstable. And yes, it may fall to the ground. But I'm assuming this based on reviews. Unfortunately I didn't put my hands on it.
