    At me being 56, the Pikes peak offers an answer to the questions my cranky joints keep constantly asking. So yes, I want it.

      @@wolfnuske8884 definitely understand. I wrestled with the idea of trading in my 2015 R1200RT or 15’ K1300S Motorsport edition. But I couldn’t part with either bike. The 30+ price tag for admission is steep. But in the end I’m going to try and stretch the budget. Just left the credit union. May need to ship the Pikes Peak to your garage far away from my wife. She is gonna destroy me lol.

    Being a multistrada And panigale owner, getting older and less into track days, this one looks the perfect match; just signed (put the contract under the xmass tree), can’t wait for the delivery...

    I traded my 20 Panigale V4S for the 21 Multi V4S w/ Radar and I'm loving it. I sorely miss my sport bike as cool as this thing is. I recently rode w/ my Ducati group and kicked ass in number 2 position with two Panigale's front and back. If you know what your doing you can get these big boys to move. But is top speed is limited to 150mph on level ground in a full tuck. So you can only do so much. Im gonna keep it and buy the new Panigale rumored to be dropped next month for next year.

      Yo man!
      I know they are different but I'm stuck in between Panigale V4S and Multi V4S. Which one would you recommend for every purpose daily and long rides. Which one more enjoyable?

      @joshlaher Před rokem +1

      @Ferit I did the same thing as Aurora, I traded my 2019 Panigale V4S for a 21 Multi V4S. For daily drive and long rides, Multistrada wins hands down. It really is an incredible, versatile bike. Light feeling, maneuverable, doesn't feel like a big bike at all. Has plenty of power to keep you satisfied. Ride position on Multi is obviously better suited for daily and long rides. But... I do miss the adrenaline rush the Panigale gives you.

    Christmas list - LOL
    I very much like the Streetfigher V4 and both the Multi V4 and Pikes Peak version. I previously owned a 2010 Multi with lots of Pikes Peak carbon style parts on it, as well as a full exhaust (the lesser known Quat-D).
    However, I have grown discouraged with the high cost of acquiring and owning Ducatis. I got a 2020 KTM Super Duke 1290R. It was $15K, nearly half what this bike costs. Is the Ducati better? Perhaps, but not twice as good, not for someone who needs to watch their budget. In any case, the KTM is an awesome bike, and is one of the best hyper-nakeds around.

    • @MotoChatter
      @MotoChatter  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Brian, thanks for your comment.
      I agree, the Superduke 1290 is a great hyper-naked and it is the last V twin hypernaked being made which means it is that bit more extra special for me.
      All the best with it, happy riding and thanks for watching.

      I would go for the Pikes Peak over the Beemer, if only for the V4 and twin pulse firing order, it is more expensive but is also better equipped, the S1000XR isn't going to disappoint though.

    • @sdsufan001
      @sdsufan001 Před 2 lety +5

      If you can find one, consider a Pikes Peak 1260 Multistrada and I LOVE it. I tested the Multistrada V4S and I wouldn’t even consider trading my beloved 1260 Pikes Peak for it. No way. This new Pikes Peak is nice but there’s something about that twin Pikes Peak. If you haven’t ridden one, try and find a way to get on one.

    Sorry chappies but engine weight of 66.7 kilograms does NOT equal 30.3 lbs. You have your factoring completely inversed.
    Putting that to one side, the PP appears fantastic and I am truly considering upgrading from my 2013 PP.

    • @MotoChatter
      @MotoChatter  Před 2 lety

      Hi Piet, thanks for pointing that out. You are correct of course that 66.7kg does not equal 30.3lbs. But it isn't inverted as the Gran Turismo engine does weight 66.7kg which is around 147lbs, the kilo weight is correct. I checked my previous Multistrada V4 video and the conversion is correct on there so, I am not sure how 30.3lbs slipped through the net, I must have copied the graphic in as a place holder from somewhere else and missed updating it on the final edit.
      Apologies for that, I feel like you should win a prize. Any way thanks for watching, thanks for you comment and all the best with your possible upgrade to the Pikes Peak.
