This is such a real video. Thank you for sharing. Do you sometimes feel like you have to fake positivity or not show or talk about your challenges? Sometimes I feel like disabled people have to be positive to make non disabled people feel better psychologically
    I kinda feel similar sometimes
I have bipolar disorder and never really had a positive or happy life so far. But I know that can change possibly. It’s harder for physical disabilities, unless hopefully there are huge strides made in the future.
Seeing you still pushing is inspiring ❀

I'm sorry you're feeling so down, but I think a lot of us can relate to the losses that come with disability.

I found you from the title of disability robbing you, as that is how I am currently feeling, so you are definitely exercising some of that purpose in this form of reaching out. Hearing other's related issues is always a helpful thing. I related completely to the ripping away of expected life and the questionable purpose issues. I had sudden severe spinal conditions onset in my 50s, and the shock of such a life change slammed me for several years (additional to the terrible physical condition itself). School is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY (x10,000) life saving. I'd don't know what I'd have done without it. Hope you like it too.

I have days like that. I call them the "blah days." Things that make me feel better when I am down are music and writing. If you want to try writing a book, do a dictation, record your story, and get someone to type it and format it into a book. Take any pain, anger, goals, motivation, and secret dreams, and give them to the characters in your story. I hope you feel better soon.

I’m going to make a point of looking at people in wheelchairs because of what you said. I don’t want to make anyone in a wheelchair feel invisible.
The only thing that consistently makes me feel better when I am down is to read the Bible. Drawing close to God by His Word brings me comfort and hope and peace.
If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
