Due to a chronic illness meaning I will be likely looking at a wheelchair for mobility in the next few months, I have been you-tubing an area in life that I have never been exposed to before - I have been absolutely gobsmacked by the strength and heart of young people like yourself, who have experienced such a life-changing before they are 20. Thankyou sincerely for helping me accept this transition as not an end but just a transition to a new form of life.
Thank you for sharing part of your story and I am sorry to hear that your chronic illness is causing those hard mobility issues. I was injured at 18 which is so young as you have mentioned but it really does get easier with time. I wish you the best of luck.
Hey Kenneth, thanks for sharing your story! I’m the same level as you. I was in a dirt bike accident 6 years ago. I came out myself a year after my injury and I found an amazing partner who loves me for me!

He is! There was a similar person who was in a tumbling accident and he broke his C8 and also paralyzed

Sorry for your accident. Sounds like cheer was the worst thing that ever happened to you. If you never started cheer, you would still be walking today
I have to politely disagree here. Cheerleading was the cause of my injury but being involved with the sport really taught me a lot about dedication, teamwork, motivation and resilience. I think two things can be true at the same time like yes it was the cause of my injury but it also completely shaped my characteristics as a youth. Thank you for your comment though.
