- Checking out the Oracle Arms 2311 pistol at Gun Con '23 range day. This is a 2011-style handgun that accepts Sig P320 magazines. It features an aluminum and polymer grip module that utilizes two different magwells to adjust the grip length between a compact and a full size. The 2311 was very pleasant to shoot. The trigger is crisp, although a little heavier than what you'd expect in a 1911/2011 platform; however, I tend to prefer slightly heavier triggers and normally run Glocks so this was a non-issue. It has a very smooth and pleasant recoil impulse. I'm excited to get my hands on one of these next month and put some extended trigger time on the gun. The pistols come optic ready for the DPP, Shield RMS and RMR footprints. They are available in a few configurations including a base model and a Pro cut model.
Check them out at oraclearms.com or on CZcams @Oracle Arms
Wow $17.99 and $21.99 that's a fantastic price. If it's quality they will well out so fast!
😂😂😂
Incredible shooting sir!😮
Appreciate ya!
large target, close distance, red dot, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
@@sv2697 It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters
I'm debating on getting one...I like the fact that they use P320 mags... Availability time is BS they always say one thing and then it never gets released as they say
In this case they were close. The pistol officially released for orders in July, shipping end of August or in September.
Love the channel name haha
😂🙏
1800 on the low end is insane for something that takes a magazine that was already developed by another company and a pistol design that’s been around for already this many year
Why 2011s take mags that have been around for awhile and cost more
You just be new to the 2011 game. That’s a good price for a quality 2011 style pistol. Staccato 2011’s cost just over $2k for the cheapest model and over $4k for the top end. You can always get you a Springfield Prodigy 2011 for $1,250 but it won’t compare to an Oracle or Staccato. My 2011 style Bul Armory SAS UR for USPSA open division cost $3,800 which is extremely cheap for an open division 2011. Most of my buddies 2011 open division pistols cost $7k up to $11k+
@@crakka5150would you give me my first staccato 2011?
There are plenty of $10k+ 2011s that use STI mags. It's pretty much the standard. Proprietary mags are not seen as a benefit in most cases because a lot of people have already invested thousands of dollars into mags for their 2011s. Each mag is at least $100, and that's not even including probably another $100 per baseplate if you want mag extensions. So at $200 a mag, if you had 10 mags, which isn't even a lot, thats already 2 grand right there.
Just realized they use p320 mags (ew) And that's coming from a guy with a p320 😂
As a leo I’ll be giving them my business
As a citizen, fuck the police.
Ohhhh yesss
Are you the guy who bought the ducati in yes man?
NGL, I'm thinking about getting one but that price tag is holding me back. Looks awesome!
They’re are expensive.
Coming to a badge cam near you
What sling are you rocking?
Got the Eaa in at work powder horn come check it out before it goes home with me man
I'll swing by soon!
Two questions:
how was the trigger?(I’m guessing staccato p-ish weight and feel)
Is it like a 320 in that you can add lok grip panels?
The trigger has a heavier wall than what you'd expect from a 1911/2011 style pistol, but it is still short and crisp. Keep in mind this is a pre-production model I'm shooting, so YMMV. Regarding the grip panels, I'm unsure but I think the answer is "no." The grip integrates with various magwells to create the size, if that makes sense, and they never mentioned LOK compatibility. But I should receive mine in the next month or so and can do some more in-depth reviewing.
@@RoofKoreanConcepts thanks for the response. Having owned multiple 2011s, I find ergonomics to be on my wishlist every single time. I was potentially interested in this for that reason but if I can’t adjust the grip then I won’t bother.
@@RoofKoreanConceptsif ur a 2011 guy that wants ego's check out the dwx from Dan wesson if u can find one....favorite peice I own
1800? I could buy a fully customized platypus from stealth arms for that
so have at it man! thats the beauty of having options
@@southpaw602 I did
Only problem I have is that Staccato will give me a LEO discount, will these guys? If so, I’m sold.
They do have LE discounts
Seen that at shot show been waiting for them to be released
Should be hitting the market at the end of July. I've got one coming to me then.
The only issue I see is having a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro mounted on the Oracle.
It will come with options for DPP, Shield RMS, RMR I believe.
@@RoofKoreanConcepts thanks for the info...I was being facetious about the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro being mounted on the Oracle because several guys in my agency have experienced many problems with it ranging from mounting plate loosening, life of the battery, red dot not working even with new batteries and after zeroing the dot, the dot misaligned for unknown reasons in relation to the iron sights...we even placed witness marks on the windage and elevation adjustment screws. We bought about 40 of them and about 7 of them have experienced those above issues. So, I do not recommend the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, way too many problems! If you want a very reliable red dot go with a Holosun with closed emitter, like the EPS. So, my whole point is if you're going to spend that kind of money on an Oracle get a reliable red dot.
So how good are they just based off your first shots
The grip is a little different than what is standard for a 2011, obv bc it accommodates Sig 320 mags. The magwell makes up a portion of the grip, but it wasn't uncomfortable.
The trigger is heavier than a 1911/2011 typically is, but tbh I don't mind. It has a little take up, a heavier wall, and a crisp break. Short reset. The pistol runs well, well balanced, ergonomically points well.
Mine should be to me by late August or early September I'm hoping, and I'll do a more in-depth review at that time.
@@RoofKoreanConcepts looking forward to it
With inflation in 6months 2799$
Didn't they say these were supposed to be UNDER $1000 at shot show...?
Girsan 2311 msrp $1060
No they didnt
Good thing you had a helmet on...
I’m on the HHV Pro squad. #repping
😂😂😂
1700 is crazy 🤦♂️
I mean, Prodigy's are 1500, Staccatos 2500, Pit Vipers and Sand hawks even more.
Ive been waiting to get one hopefully i can receive a discount🙏 july is my birthday month 👌
Mine came 2 weeks ago. Very disappointing.
You don't like yours?
@@RoofKoreanConcepts i dont. My Prodigy is a much better shooter. Even my Platypus shoots better than the Oracle Arms. After waiting 7-8 months to get, very disappointed
2100$ gtfoh. Dream staccato on 400 more
It had a stove pipe malfunction right at the end of the video? Looks to be what I seen.
No, empty mag, slide lock.
Way too expensive. Sweet gun nonetheless but way too expensive. I'll stick with my X5 Legion
Need a helmet?
No bull barrel 👎🏻
make gun fu don't use it like that
I just am so turned off by the astronomical price on these double stack 1911s LITERALLY just because of the hype for the 2011 from Springfield. shits ridiculous.
Couldn't be more mistaken. The Springfield didn't create hype for the 2011. STI/Staccato and others like Infinity and SVI made the 2011 one of the highest competing pistols ever. Springfield launched an absolute turd version of the 2011, and they've made 1911s for decades, so there was no excuse other than them trying to rush into the increasingly dense market.
Go buy a hipoint then.....
👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽not worth 2 thousand dollars
lol we are shooting kid size targets lol
That's how you train accuracy in shooting. This isn't hood thug training where you just randomly spray in the direction of your target and hope you hit him without also hitting other people.
@@DrownInLysergic dont know about that my friend im a military veteran no thug training here sir. There is smaller targets that aren’t shaped liked children is what i was referring too.
They're called Pepper Poppers and they aren't meant to simulate children. They're USPSA/IPSC specific targets and have been around since the late '70s.
@@RoofKoreanConcepts it was a joke man lol
You’d catch me dead ever spending over a 1k on any pistol. A toy that will wear and tear fast than a rifle and isn’t as useful. I’d rather buy same model of 1 pistol multiple times and have extras or parts
Jesus christ do you even clean your guns?
If you’re broke just say it bro
@@Duhtonyle😂
Same shit I was thinking. Way too over priced
I mean, you do you boo. I shoot alot and prefer to have a variety.
Hahahaha leo discounts. Disgusting two tier citizen bs.
What’s the helmet for in this instance?
Two fold. I’m an HHV pro squad member, so I was repping a bit. Also wanted to use my Peltors 😂
He’s on a live range where people are shooting real bullets, never shame a man for wearing ppe
Thanks IraqVeteran8888
