now my black falcon army finally has a target to raid and attack 🔥
😂😂😂
💀
You mean they weren't brave enough to go straight for an attack on the Lion's Knight Castle? 😂
Apologizing for a dented box is next level
“Guys I’m sorry the set LEGO sent me for free came in a dented box I’ll let them know to do better next time”
@@obi-wankenobi4301 exactly… he’s just gonna throw it away anyways
I was thinking the same thing lmao. Why would we gaf
He is awesome
He was trying to say Lego won’t send you boxes in bad condition like his
Imma mention that the "goat herder" guy is supposed to be the weaver, he's the one that made the tapestry
I've been looking for a place for my series 25 goatherd, i can't wait to put him with this set
Yeah I was like wtf does this dude think? That goats are being sheared? Wrong animal lol
When i get mine, I'm gonna ad the lute performer from series 22 in it as well as the goatherd guy!
@streetxjammingdualxscreens9228 I put the loot guy in the castle, because there's a kid with the same shirt/color scheme as him. I also put the goatherd in the cheese shop
Hold up! “Here’s a little thief with a wolf on his chest…” whaaaaat? He represents the long awaited return of the famous Wolfpack line from vintage LEGO, the darker counterparts to the Forestmen. He’s a super recognizable figure from a super iconic theme! Give the lil guy some recognition! 😢😂
LEGO, please stop using stickers on 18+ sets.

7:52 I think it's a nod to the Fright Knights, specifically set 6007. With all the bats in the background it has to be fright knights. Really cool nontheless.
100% picking this up. Love the original from (really? that long?) 15 years ago. One of, if not my favourite sets of all time. This looks like a great upgrade? replacement? companion? to that set.
Tree does look kinda meh but I don't recall a great lego tree, not in minifig scale anyway.
Ooh wow, this set and the castle fit PERFECTLY together
You see the helmet of the Bat Lord (vampire) of the cmf 25. Also the dragon in the past was the same as the dragon knight but in black with trans orange wings.
Personally, I think that this tree is just fine. Some of the overly complex trees just make me laugh... like, it's just a tree.
“I don’t recall a great lego tree” he says, completely ignoring ninjago’s dragon stone shrine.
@@undead.risingI agree with you on that, just a simple tree, it’s all that’s needed for a bit depth my main focus is on the buildings
Great review! I'm sorry but I was rolling, laughing that you kept emphasizing that the textile guy was there to shear the goat. Not so much that it was a mistake but that he was so intent on giving him a good cut 😅
That tool in his hand might just as well function as a way to make Kebab.
The Medieval Market Village was at the top of my 'want' list as a kid, so I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to get hold of this updated take on it!
Lets talk customization! Will the watch tower, upgrade to a clock tower? hm.... should the Inns become separate buildings? Perhaps the castle one becomes a storehouse and small stable? So many possibilities. Also I am kinda shocked at how much bigger the mountain fortress looks...
You need a second copy i guess. When you can manage to complete the different buildings as a hole. In that way you can create more like a small town. And the clock tower is something what would work well. Maybe just some kind of church will fitt perfect in the square as a fifth building. And there around the houses. And beyond that a castle.
the thought crossed my mind but I think would be better to just pick a brick, though, maybe selling the minis and a good GWP could get a reasonable cost for a bunch of bricks. hmmm... @@pajvader
@@jacobelmslie3862 i guess there are multiple ways to get where you want to be with it. The approach of selling the minis is a way to cut costs. In addition to it. There will Maybe a point when this set is on sale or discount. Maybe with the insiders weekend there are special benefits, discount coupons or something similar. Ether way the main model is in my opinion somewhere lacking.
yes I agree, it is almost there, I actually think the left side building was meant to be like a farmhouse than a city building, It seems like it was really scaled back. Which is really unfortunate that there were compromises and not just more cost. Id pay a bit more for actual prints.

Great review! Definitely excited for this set. Thanks for displaying Lion Knights Castle and Mountain Fortress with the Town Square, looks amazing.
ah thats exactly what i wanted to see - all the sets together
One of the best features of this set is the tree for sure
Beautiful set! Only two things i think could've been better is if we had gotten a comunity board and another vendor stall instead of the tree. Also an extra fig (chef) and maybe a vendor for said vendor stall
Only review I've seen so far that matched it up with the castle, thanks for that.
Fantastic, detailed review! Thanks for taking the time to go over the features. I can't wait to get this.
Hopefully they do some sort of village set for the Black Falcons.
Great review thanks so much. We’ve been watching your videos this evening. Awesome channel! 🎉
Woah, you have a Mountain Fortress already?! It look so good! I am so glad I hopped on Twitter when Bricklink crashed the morning of the Mountain Fortress presale. I found a link to directly buy it from Lego. I missed the Castle In The Forest in 2021 so I converted the Ideas Treehouse to a Forestmen HQ. I have 2x versions of the 2009 buildings, and a 2x Blacksmith. I want to build this new Town Square into 2x size, but it will be really hard to preserve the hinging effects, even if I re-hinge them. I love my hinging 2x Forest Hideout and Majisto Workshop, but I haven't MILS plate them because I like to open them up to show people! Time to design a MILS that they can easily lift off from.
Another awesome review mate 😁👍🏼 And it looks like an amazing set too 👌🏼
Looks amazing, definitely picking this up : )
I absolutely love your reviews
I'm going to wait for a discount because they pulled back on the animals from the original, shorted us on the minifigures, and the thatching on the roofs. Now, I only want thatched roofs. 😁
Yes you need 2 of them to combine the buildings as one. So you have more spaces workplaces. And of course to populatie the city. Would be great if lego is going to maken lego medieval City.
Your colection is incredible I give you respect for owning all of these incredible sets
😂❤❤❤❤❤
This set looks incredible! So many cool details
wish i'd have preordered two mountain fortresses!
16:16 man, you are mixing up a goat with a sheep. That guy makes the tapestry. But buy the way, a sheep would have been nice.
I never tapped so fast on a video I NEED THIS SET
Same
That soldier's got a good gig! His own little apartment in town just to watch over the townsfolk. I bet he loves his job! :)
If you got all the, or most of the CMF castle figures you have the time of your life with these sets. Lion knights castle + the market is it for me. And I got the Bard, the CMF wizard, Basil, the little knight girl, the Jester, The falconeer, 2 of the goat herders and the barbarian woman. Also I got both Majistos workshop and the Forestmens hideout. My village will be packed. Granted not everyone will have these, or even more like the bear knight and the tournament knight (raven). Yet I feel that with this set and some of the CMF figures you got an awesome display.
I loved the build on this set. It went together well with no real frustration points, but it was still interesting.
I love all the Easter Eggs. The different waxes on the different envelopes was a nice touch (Dragon Knights and Black Falcons plus one I can't place). Maybe some hints of what is to come?
The modularity is very nice. This will be a fantastic addition to my Ideas/Icons Castle display.
Looks fantastic will go nice with my lions Knight castle great review 🏰 👍
Looks fantastic. A definite buy.
This set looks really amazing! If I had more space, I would definitely go for it. 💯
It's a wonderful set that would go well with both the Medieval Village, and Mill Village Raid models.
Amazing set
11:58 I think this was a reference to that one Star Wars quote
10/10, love the Fright Knight’s reference
Well its sad to only get one goat. There should have been atleast 2! And also no cows and horses which is a NO GO
A good and honest review. I think you did a great job at showing the set in detail, without taking too much time.
I'm not entirely sure the value is there for this set, but since it is priced a little lower as Lion's knight's Castle the barrier to buy in is also lower. While with the castle, I am convinced that the parts are more than useful to a medieval LEGO builder, with this I am less sure.
Everyone can use a goat and there is some nice detailing on the buildings, but what Lion's Knights Castle offered in raw building parts, minifigures and accessories, this doesn't come close to half the value in my opinion, but it costs basically quite a bit more than half of that set.
Unlike the Mountain Fortress set, which for some reason was limited edition (a horrible idea if you ask me), at least this is going to be available for purchase if you want it, maybe eventually for a discount from a regular retailer.
"A shady crook with a wolf on his chest"? That was all I needed to hear to know this is just another free set to you.
Just my opinion, though.
I'm pretty sure all the descriptions were meant to be satirical since he sat down at LEGO and heard all of their backstories and true roles within the village.
@frostburn311 I hope so, but sitting down at Lego and hearing the backstories doesn't mean anything. David is a true Lego Star Wars fan for sure. But there are a good number of LAN members who clearly don't know shit about Lego and have channels just to have them. They'll get this set for free and won't know what or who Wolfpack are.
Looks like a great set! I will have to say that as I really like the details in newer Lego sets, I kinda feel like they have lost some of the charm you get with the simplicity of the older sets. The one thing that bothers is the heavy use of stickers. I really wish those pieces were painted instead.
I am sure it will also go well with my already existing Lego Medieval Market Village #10193 from 2009 since that one has a metal smith and an inn which was different along with cows.
That crook in the hood seems chill
I think "loom" is the word you're looking for the "textile machine"
Useless fun fact: Henrik is my desk neighbor!
This set is certainly the GOAT!!
How can he not HYPE for the fact that there is finally a Wolf renegade minifigure!? Cant wait for the Wolf renegade line in the future! :)
A recreation of the classic dragon would be amazing to see🔥
Very nice. They look all great together. The black smith would also fit very good too. You should put the black smith with all sets together. 😃
Black smith is waaay too big to fit next to these castle sets
Hello, really nice video. I would like to know your opinion what kind of minifigures are missing? Which 4 minufigures would you recommend or appreciate?
The “music instrument” you mentioned is probably the lute.
If the grey goat is not available in other sets, the price will be about 20- 40$
Doubt it. The white goat is readily available and the goat from 2009 goes for 50-100. I suspect that this goat will be max 25. But since people already have the white goat available. How many goats do you need?
@@dgray3771 i dont need more goats. I have a few white ones...
The wolf rebellion is back, after years of waiting
In my Lego Castle world, we brew our Goat Milk. :D
The tree looks way better than those crappy ones in the Rivendell set
Yeah I don’t really get the complaint of this tree.
Would be nice to see it next to the blacksmith
There should be more figures and more animals. I was hoping for a cow, chickens, at least 2 goats and they gave us this. It's really downsize from the leaked image a year ago. I would buy that one for sure but with this one I really hesitate. Maybe if a 35 % sale comes somewhere, it will be worth it, but not now
Just a Horse for Tax collector and cow would be enough.
That BEWARE Dragon sign is 100% confirmation that a Dragon Knight set is incoming.
I hope so.
It's Basil on a dragon. And Basil got released in the CMF line.
We always want more figures but it's a good deal on price per piece. Would it be if they added more figures? Probably not. It's made to go with lion knights castle which has a lot of figures. Those figures can fill in the town center and would likely work both in town and at the castle.
Is this set not the 3rd (or 4th) set with the Medieval Black Smith the start of the revival? If you count the Viking village as medieval as Castel, this is the 4th set and that is excluding the Lego Creator sets and the Lego Insiders gift sets.
The impotant question for me, how is the size from that table with all 3 sets, together? This looks so great🤩
Dude doesnt even mention the lego blacksmith set in this Renaissance of lego knights sets. That thing was awesome.
This may be a dumb question, but I’m curious, when you say “LEGO sent this over for review” does that mean you send it back after you review it or do you get to keep it?
As an adult collector I find the overall details of this Town Square set is nowhere near the Blacksmith set... This Town Square is more like a playset
I mean…it’s not meant to go with the blacksmith, in fact that set is completely out of scale with this one!, this set is specifically meant to go with the castle, which is pretty simple
Hi. Could you let me know the size of the small and large buildings in centimeters? Based on when the building was folded, Height x Length x Width?
😍…10305 10332 & Bricklink castle …together!!!!….great!!amazing!!! I’ll buy 10332 and I’ll put it near my 10305 set and bricklink caste (maybe in july) and my ‘80 lego castles…..I like tooooo much your face when you’re near all that sets (10305, 10332 & BL)…😂😂😂
The goat man
Getting this day 1!
This is the Price/Piece ratio we like!
Wonder how long till someone comes up with an alternate build of this set lol. I can't wait
Looks like it would pair excellently with the castle they released a few years ago
I’d the future of Lego’s classic themes are in DTCs I hope they’re not exclusively over 200$ lol
The only thing on my wanted listed from castle is another attempt at a near eastern or even central Asian castle, we’ve only seen one from Prince of Persia and it’s probably my favourite “castle” ever
How does the 3 in 1 (with all three builds) look with the medieval town square and LKC
Reminds me of Guarded Inn 10,000 set.
Why is the water not medium azure like in the castle set? Why are there so little animals, no horse, cow or sheep? You really have to combine it with 60346 Barn & Farm Animals and the goat Goatherd 71045-5 to make it feel complete.
A few more animals would have been nice. But don’t forget, It’s town square not a farm.
I prefer to think that the birds nest came from the beard stolen from the blacksmith 😮
Black falcon bricklink castle is very cool on the outside but seeing it here with LK castle and town square I dont think they "match". Could definitely pass as from the same universe but scale seems off. BF castle seems more to scale with 21325
I got it and a problem with it is when you close the big building there is a hole in the wall of the food room where it meets the staircase😞
Dont know if its just me but nro looks like on of the jonah brothers
The fact that a medieval set included a turkey is astounding
it's almost as if the cartoonified plastic toy product isn't wholly historically accurate
@@samachell you know, there's a difference between including female knights/napoleon era soldiers and including a freacking turkey in a medieval set
@@pandurial ok nerd aint no one gaf
@@pandurial all in good fun dont you think? I find the americanised stereotype of medieval kings eating turkey legs really funny
@@samachell ye
Ok got a problem. Got the lion knights castle and found the market at a steap price, but got no room for this. Would all look good with my castle 6074, downside with a small flat.
If the first goat joke doesn’t land make sure to double down! 😆😆 great video!
You're missing the Medieval Blacksmith for comparison!
that lion knights shield is great. Do you get just one?
Basil the Batlord erasure :(
great review though :)
This is an awesome set which I will try to pick up but I'm really hoping that Lego will actually bring back the Castle theme for real and release a variety of sets at a variety of prices like they used to. The last Castle theme a decade ago was great because it was very affordable I was able to buy every one of the sets very easily even the big Castle, can't say that right now when the cheapest Castle set out right now is the 3 in 1 creator set at 100, which still isn't too bad compared to the 400 price point of the Lion's Castle, which I would definitely love to be able to get, though I do think about the fact that I could easily buy at least 2 original Castles from the 80s and 90s for the same price. Anyways it would just be nice to see some more affordable Castle sets in the near future as well.
Let's just say it - many people will be buying this set just for the goat!
I think they started with the black falcon forge ... Not the castle 🤔😉
Are you going to be at brickfair in March?
Where did you buy that wooden table in your videos?
Shouldve added the armor smith building as well!!!
Dude i agree on tne lack of Minifigures! X
Ho gia' questo castello lego ancora imballato e prendero' anche questo nuovo set
11:28 Lego Star Wars sets: „First time?“
What kind of table is that? A uline?
Good emphasis on the goat
Hello!
I'm lego mania in korea.
I enjoyed watching your video.
cheer you up!
Goodness me, 50 000 Rand. That is the price of a car!
I would love to see this side by side with the original Medieval Market Village. Looks great, but the price is high for my budget; I hope Lego makes some smaller castle sets in the near future.
BTW, why is everyone so excited about the goat? It'll probably be on PAB in a few months.
Couldn't the top bedroom with hidden coins imply that the villager is hiding coins from the tax collector? Like in the animated Robin Hood?
Batlord not Dragon knight ✨
I take it he doesn’t know about Lego castle at all 😂 The disrespect to the Wolfpack
