It does have a high pitch. out of the box it is set pretty aggressive and tuned well for my abilities. I know...that dooog! :)

Hi cool video, you put the antenna straight on the radio but in the manual they say leave it flat. Why did you need the extra camera don't the goggles record the FPV? By any chance did you do a video of you binding and setting up the quad and the radio using BetaFlight I would like to see that if you did. 😉
Dustin! I watched your vid. on the 220, and decided to get the rtf c250 v2, and OMG, It's super fast. I'm in central Illinois, so I've had to wait for some warm temps to get it up in the air, and today I finally got outside. I totally freaked when I did a punch. Actually my heart started racing. I don't fly acro yet but, I'm trying it a little more each time. I enjoy all your vids, and listen to pretty much everything you say. I trust in your judgement, and pretty much don't buy any new quad, until I've checked to see if you have any input on it first. Anyway! The 250 is a total beast.

Im.going to buy the T8SG v3 and then buy this drone. Any issues you you can think of that I might have? I'm also just learning the terminologies. And it helps when I see a definitive video(s) like yours. I have watched nearly everyone and any drone I've been interested in, you had a video just like this.

I see this video is quite old but I just ordered the 220 v2. I have been flying my Arris 250 x speed for a while and wanted a more agile quad. I hope I like it and it is as sturdy as my 250. I have had some hard crashes with my x speed!

late question...How do you get stabilizer Does the quad have it or is it done by the QX7S(x4r ?...IF i get FrSky ACCST Taranis Q X7 2.4GHz 16CH Can i setup stabilizer with that ?
Get an ARRIS c250 and flew it in ATT and it went well...for a while.. until I switched it to MAN mode it hit the grass so fast and I picked it up and straightened the props and took it up again. At about 30 ft up it beeped a lot and circled to the ground in ATT mode. This time it hit asphalt. Camera connector end ripped off and antenna was nowhere to be found. Thanks for your videos. I will practice when I get this 220.

im jumping in to this hobby head first. i got an arris x220 pro, the taranis x7s, and even the aomway goggles. I got the x4r installed and bound, but i cant get it to connect to betaflight. it also just keeps beeping at me whenever i plug in a battery. ive looked at arris's site and some other places but i cant figure out what to do. do you have any helpful thoughts or ideas. anything helps, thanks
i have the exact same setup for some reason I cant get vfas on telemetry its been a week I cant get any telemetry other than the defaults and a2 in betaflight I have configured everything connected everything properly any thought on whats going on?

How do you get it to self leveling mode where it just hovers without the up and down
The go pro will fit up front the way you want but battery lead on the side and enttana out back straight and two straps for the battery, GoPro you may need to take side plates off and use zipp ties.
What do you recommend for long range?
Dustin have you done a bind and setup vide I have just got my fist taranis qx7 and could really need you to make a video where u setup model on taranis and then betaflight because I know u have done it so many times bro..

I have the Arris x280 v2 with the Radiolink transmitter RTF kit . I been flying the Mjx bugs 3 for almost a year till I upgraded to hobby grade . So I am very familiar with no altitude hold. My question is how are u flipping in self leveling mode cause my Arris only tilts and pitches so far. Not quite ready for acro mode yet but in the video I where flipping in self level ????
You'll need to hook up to your computer get into the flight controller software (likely "Beta flight" ) and change one of the inputs for flight modes to Horizon or similar. You'll be able to do flips but also self level 🍻

I've been looking at the Eachine WIZARD X220S and this drone, do you recommend I buy one or a different drone. I'd like a solid prebuilt drone and also recommendation for fpv goggles too (been looking at the SKYZONE SKY02X ) please help !! :))
If you haven't flown this kind of FPV yet, get a little beginner all-in-one pack and see if you like it or can... Then move up in sizes slowly as you master each 🍻
Maybe remove top plate and using a small file remove just enough carbon from each side where the camera mounts and also recess the top plate slightly so your camera strap fits in the required position?, just a thought. :)
Actually went back to the start of the video and noticed that where you would need to do this you would be removing one of the carbon lugs that hold top plate to frame, so not a good idea. I did however notice a small hole each side on the top plate, maybe by dremalling these out you could make strap length intrusions as long as you are not reducing the frames strength?

Can you use a 5s battery on this thing? How do you figure out which battery (4s, 5s, 6s) are compatible with a particular drone. Im new to drones and tryna get a handle on all the diff concepts.

you should do a give away for some of these old drones and transmitters and goggles that you have, draw in more subscribers and interaction, you must have a pile of stuff you no longer even touch
which camera did the filming? The little "original" or the big mounted on top? :) Thinking about buying a drone for exploring while trekking, this may be it, or else hit me up with tips! :) Pretty cheepish around 250 bucks max
The big top camera did the high resolution filming, the bottom small one was used for the fpv(first person view) goggles. If you want one for exploring and your budget is 250ish. Then I don't recommend this one. Because you have to buy the drone, the transmitter, and fpv goggles to get the most out of this quadcopter. That'll bring you up to $500 at least. Instead I recommend the Holy Stone HS700D which you can get on amazon for $284 or $264 with the coupon. You can use your phone to see what the quad sees and record high quality video. It also has GPS stabilization and return to home so it can hover pretty stable and if you lose sight of it or get lost you can set it to return to where it took off from. It's no DJI or Yuneec but its not bad for the price. Not to mention the 20 minute flight time.

How long flight time does it have?
Question when i connect the battery to my arris drone and turn the reciever on it connects and arms then when i apply throttle it acts as though it disconnects and starts beeping furiously. I replaced a motor and apon reassembly i ran into this issue. The motors will spin on the initial conection but will not arm henceforth and again beeps as though its lost connection completly. Is there some troubleshooting i can do or have you run into this issue and may be able to give me an idea on the issue? Thank you
This might be runaway prevention kicking in. Maybe the new motor you soldered on is spinning in the wrong direction now. Go to betaflight, motors tab, and use the slider to slowly spin up that motor. Check it is spinning the correct way, as shown on the config tab in betaflight.

Second battery was FPV (first person view) with me wearing the goggles and seeing what was shown in FPV screen on left bottom with all the info overlaying which is called OSD or (on screen display).😉

Because of this review, I purchased this drone and the Taranis qx7. I am so excited to get it in the air, but I have run into a problem. My Taranis is set up for mode 2 but the drone itself thinks that the receiver is in mode 1. The Taranis has the throttle on the left but the drone has the throttle on the right. Is there a way to fix this?
+Henry Mitchell fix it in betaflight on PC or you can try switch channels in the Taranis itself. Try a search.
Thanks so much. I have been searching and searching and cannot find a tutorial on how to do it in betaflight. I would really like to fly mode 2. The Taranis says that the throttle is on channel 1, but I am unsure of how to find this in betaflight.

Also, I picked the dazzle over the x220 by arris has a rtf deal with the jumper t16. No other reason.

Arris no question about it, the wizards then to break for no reason and sometimes just burn up, the arris is better quality and as far as I know don’t have any problems

Bought one but I am really unhappy that it comes with 4 CW Threaded Motors! After a few flights, the right hand rotation motors work their props loose! I contacted the manufacturer and was told this is the way it comes? Are they drunk or just stupid?
They shouldn't come loose if you crank them a little tighter and check them before each flight. I know it seems silly but the more pro race drones are all CW also.

how fast is it?
VSE Mathieu about as fast as any racing drone should be. It can easily do 70 mph if not more. I’ve got a ton of freestyle vids using both.
