Apparently you should go all the way down when starting to utilise this exercise as not training with full range of motion from the start can cause bicep tears. This is because if you so happen to accidentally straiten your arm with a heavier load your tendon won’t be able to handle it.
Great video whoever you are! No video description? What I always have trouble with even as a relatively short guy is the lad never comes up high enough even when the seat is at its lowest setting to prevent me from having to lean over the pad when doing the motion. Bene lifting for 20 years and still don't have any answers on this.
Closer grip I find engages the forearms more but u have to focus on keeping the elbows in as you can get a lot of slipping because of the material of the cushion once you started sweating.
Wow why’s this so hard 😂
Good info, somehow it did not help me do this exercise with a good form, so my search continues
It's for long head and he says to go all the way down but you really shouldn't. Nore does he. He does it right, but says it wrong on that part.

How far should you stretch your arms downward?
If you see his side view at 1:05, his forearms are parallel to the ground. I wouldn’t go any lower than that, to avoid tearing a bicep.
Is the close grip better than the wide grip with the ez bar?
Closer grip

Is it for short head ?
Wide grip for short head and close grip for long head
@@Mister_Schwifty514 this exercise will still target the short head since ur lifting with ur shoulders in front of u
