    Great job on the swap! Make it look like it was as never done in the first place!
    190cc is underpowered. Just make sure the RPMS are 3,600 and sell it!

    Nice job John have not gotten one of these in to work on and it has been 10 years. Roger is right on the money, may be under powered for this unit but only time will tell what it will and will not do.

      Yes sir your right Mr Wayne, I seen some listed in my area that have either the 223cc engine or I saw one somebody had listed that had the 190cc engine just like mine I know mine is the 175cc engine next video I should have it all working . I appreciate your feedback and knowledge as always sir.

    Good job, the carb needs some work, but nice job.... If you want to make it keystart, find a weed eater one ride on mower, and use the parts of the engine to make that engine a keystart, but the weedeater one engine won't work cause the crankshaft end is to thin.

    • @Turningwrenches85
      @Turningwrenches85  Před měsícem

      It would be nice on a keystart feature but then have to rig up a battery to use it, I still have the starter for that engine

    21:09 found the mower grave yard. I have a few graves behind my house. My wife makes me take what i am not going to use or strip to the scrapper every fall.

    Was going to say, in my video, on my channel, I show the hole in the underside of the deck to access that top 1/2" bolt.

      It was a pain to get to even with the hole and a swivel extension

    The engine swap went pretty good. You might be alittle under powered going from a 223 cc to a 173cc engine. In part 1 was the original engine not usable after drilling the holes? Those mowers around here bring at least $850 used and i mean well used. Ive been looking for one to flip for 3 years and they are justed trashed by landscapers.👍🎥🇺🇸

    • @Turningwrenches85
      @Turningwrenches85  Před měsícem

      Yeah , roger the first one the previous people messed up the aluminum for the bolts that mount up the recoil and tank and when I tried to drill and tap it , it messed it up more that I couldn't mount it correctly

    • @waynestefinashen239
      @waynestefinashen239 Před měsícem +1

      Your right Roger most landscapers around hear do nothing but complain about their employees for abusing company equipment in the meantime the company does not properly maintain their own equipment. Additionally we have many of them using residential equipment instead of biting the bullet and buying the more expensive commercial equipment. But that only helps the bottom line at EP !
