I made holiday meals for my unhoused neighbors. Served over 100 meals to homeless encampments in my neighborhood. I am so greatful for the life I have.

Just gonna throw this out there and I am not even a smoker - I love that you include cigarettes in your gifts. Whether you like that habit or not, you're just making people happy regardless of what they do. No judgement, just thoughtfulness; that's amazing. Love your channel, and I love your gigantic giving heart. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.

I live in a military dorm overseas. There was a group of amazing women who had boxes of stockings for all of us single airmen who don’t have our families with us. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel not left out!

I love that you do this. I was homeless for 3 years. I just became not homeless January 8, 2021. I’m not even fully on my feet because I’m saving up to buy furniture and get my house in order but I’ve been dreaming about the day when I can give back. I can’t wait.

At one point in my life I lived in my car off and on for two years. In NW Ohio where it gets very cold in the winter. I spent one Christmas in a woman’s shelter and know exactly what Christina meant by taking cigarettes. It was the one thing that kind of allowed me to still feel like myself to be able to have a cigarette. And the joy that I felt when a group of church women brought us all boxes with a blanket and socks and gloves and some other items….I cry now thinking of it. It made me feel so loved that these women thought of us when my own family, rightfully so, were done with me. It’s been many years and my life has changed drastically, but every Christmas I take a few cartons of cigarettes and some boots, scarves, hats, and gloves to that very same shelter. I feel it is my duty to give back what I was so graciously given when I needed it most in my life. Pay it forward! Merry Christmas everyone ❤️🎄🎁

The small free things that you mentioned, cleaning, vacuuming, cutting grass for someone, walking a dog etc…has been my whole life thought, always be good and gracious to people. I always always try to do that for people, animals etc all year round and teach my baby girls (now 10 and 11yrs old) to do the same. Those small things are the BIG HUGE things in the grand scheme of things! Love ya Christina, hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and healthy, happy New Year!!!

Love this! Giving back is incredible, especially when my kids get involved and watching them come up with fun ideas on how to give back. I am a single mom of 4 with serious health issues and I couldn’t afford Christmas presents for them, but we still made a list of free ways to give back to others. That is the ultimate gift. There are so many free ways to give back if you don’t have any monetary ways to help. We came up with 101 ways to give back without spending a ton of money. We drew numbers out of a hat and whatever we got was what we did. It was so awesome and special and I know my kids will continue to do this with their own kids some day. It’s truly a blessing to be alive and sharing peace and love with others. And it’s so easy to do. And it can be done when you can’t afford to give much. I ended up pulling off a Christmas Eve miracle for my babies and sold some tactical type items to be able to provide some presents. And I don’t regret it! They were so thankful and so stoked and it was an awesome holiday! Can’t wait for 2022 to bring better things for us all! If we manifest that it will come. And I’m embracing it! Merry Christmas everyone and happy new year to you all, thank you Christina for being such a solid platform to us all. Love you so much. It always feels like we are besties chilling in bed having a slumber party eating snacks and painting each others nails with matching pajamas. 😂 love you beautiful!! XOXO

I actually really appreciate you thinking about cigarettes I would have loved to get something like that when I was homeless it would have been a blessing A cigarette might be the only stress relief you get each day and and it means the world that you're willing to buy cigarettes for people that really want them regardless regardless if you smoke or not.. Hell I used to ask my sister for a carton of cigarettes for Christmas because a carton of cigarettes helped me out that's less money I have to spend but she didn't think it was an appropriate Christmas present even though she smoked so I had to spend my own money while she got me something I didn't really ask for

This video really hit home with me. I was living with my brother a year ago and I had had a horrible accident and got a TBI so was going through the ssdi process. Any hoo! My memory loss and hearing loss annoyed him more than I knew. Then my doctor put me on 2 meds that caused me serotonin syndrome. I was hospitalized and could've died. My brother accused me of trying to OD. Absolutely not!! He kicked me out and put me in a shelter last January. I was devastated and scared. I decided to make the best of it and help others once I was on my own again. I'm on my own now since August. Seeing you fill those stockings made me cry!! You're a wonderful person. Merry Christmas and God Bless you

I was homeless for 4yrs living in shelters on the street sleeping in abandoned homes. It was horrible. I recently got on my feet almost 2 yrs ago an since then my family an I have done this 4 the homeless for 2 yrs now. This last Thanksgiving we made up bags w hats ,gloves ,food, water, hand heaters ect. It feels so good to help out others. I'm by far not rich but I thank God everyday for having a roof over my head a car an food on my table. Even when we're at our worst there's someone who may be worse off then us. so it's important to help others when u can. God bless you for thinking of others. It means so much to those who are struggling.

You do so much good Christina! After everything you have been through, you are amazing. I am disabled now but I used to "adopt" a family every year when I worked. I just can't afford it now, I'm lucky to feed my husband and I. My son though was blessed this year and put in 275.00 at his church to meet a goal of 500.00 to help 3 kids and he gave 100.00 to help a family find their mission trip to Rwanda next year. I told him how proud I was of him and he said "mom, I learned it from you" and my cup is running over this year. His 14 year old son 5 years ago took half of his money to help feed a homeless man. I would love to see more of this!

God bless you and your heart! This is a great thing to do with your children to help develop their empathy and love for others. Another good idea that me and my son have done together is filling up paper lunch sacks with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches chips cookies, drinks and handing them out two homeless. You can make a lot of lunches for very little money from the dollar tree and brighten someone’s day. We always write a little note of encouragement and put them in each one as well

Thanks for this timely reminder over the holidays, Christina. I was watching a Rick Steve's European Christmas vid where on Christmas day, churches all over the place, make wonderful Christmas feasts for the poor! I just finished my end-of-the-year donations, we do a free exchange of items in our apartment building laundry room, I just spent the evening with an elderly neighbour who has heallth problems and I gave her a little gift bag, I made sure to thank the clerks in my local grocery stores who have been doing such a terrific job here in Toronto during our 2nd COVID year, I gave out Christmas cards to everyone we know, I topped up our Little Libraries in the neighbourhood and I am making some clothing donations. We're seniors on a fixed income, with few friends/family left, but I must say, doing these little things for others lifts my spirits. We're Buddhists, so we don't share the Christian aspects of Christmas, but that doesn't mean that we can't make a contribution, anyway. As Christina says, even doing something like complimenting someone on their shoes, can put a smile on someone else's face. p.s. that was a good example about that 80 year old woman who ended up in a home-less shelter when her house burned down. Even a small donation can make a difference.

I love this and it’s sweet and I know what you mean about the feeling like should you say or should you not. Thanks for being a blessing. Jesus is the reason for every season ! I wish there could be a go fund me for that old lady who lost her home at 80 or maybe a go fund me for the whole shelter

I worked at a homeless shelter for a while.. it was absolutely the best job I'd ever had.. and when you say not just anyone can get into shelters, that's no joke... And this wasn't even a government ran thing... It was a non profit through a catholic diocese and a city agency... It wasn't too bad when we first opened, we had an amazing director... But the hoops that people have to jump through now to qualify is insane... We ended up getting a director that cared more about the power she felt it gave her and judging these people than actually making a difference... That's a big reason why I left.... But, this is great what you did for your shelter!
