  • Just a little behind the scene to show you how I sometimes use 3D software to create difficult perspective situations to draw anatomy and the same for geometrical objects.
Building geometry objects - Sketchup (free from Google :) )
Setting up an anatomy pose - Daz3D
I hope that this tip will help some beginning illustrators with their artworks. However, don't use it to substitute your anatomy or perspective training. You can get easily addicted to it and you will be always dependent on the software. It will also look poorly unless you don't have the knowledge of how human body is built. Try to sketch wherever and whenever it is possible. Take your sketchbook wherever you go and draw, draw, draw. That is how you get better. Hard work :)

All I know: he's using Sketchup to 3d buildings. For poses, there are plenty apps like magic poser, ezpozer... that we can use (I'm Brazilian mangaka)
